Chapter 116

Seoul, Korea
Golden Gardens Hotel

Gang Moon stayed back with sunglasses and a hat on, hiding in the crowd, waiting for the right moment.

Myo Mi-Sun looked different, again, from what he expected.

Instead of wearing a knee length skirt and full coverage, loose fitting top, and flats, she was dressed much sexier but stylish and polished. She wore a pair black, leg baring short-shorts, and a white, airy, crepe open shoulder top that was feminine with a black bow. The blush pink high heels she wore made her many inches taller, and had little black tie bows around the ankles that matched the one on her blouse.

This new sense of fashion Myo Mi-Sun had suddenly found confused Gang Moon, but he rather enjoyed the amount of skin she was now showing with the wardrobe upgrade.

It was yet another thing he was struggling to unravel about her and the situation, but it was the least concerning at the moment.

The announcement of Myo Mi-Sun working with the biggest K-Pop group in the world was surprising, and something he wanted to get in on.

Sure, music videos were small roles, but they got play worldwide and still had a huge online presence. It was the perfect, and an effortless, way to reach new markets that went beyond Korea’s borders.

But what Gang Moon couldn’t figure out was how Myo Mi-Sun was doing any of this seemingly all of a sudden. For the short amount of time that he was in her life behind the closed doors of her professional career, she didn’t do things like this. Her schedule was busy, but it was mostly non-profit events and small venues that pictures weren’t permitted at due to minors and the sensitivity of the focus of the non-profits. She didn’t crash red carpets, didn’t upstage other actors and actresses or musicians, or threaten people like she did him at his own premier.

It was frustrating that she wasn’t like that when they were together, because he wouldn’t have minded playing with that Myo Mi-Sun instead of the passive pushover he was accustomed to, but he could make it work.

Myo Mi-Sun was still a pushover at heart, he knew.

All Gang Moon had to do was pressure her in front of the media and fans, and she’d stammer as she struggled to find an argument or way to tell him no and push him away. That will be when Gang Moon pulls her into him and kisses her senseless. Embarrassment isn’t the right way to rekindle a romance, but Myo Mi-Sun didn’t know what real romance was. All she knew was what she portrayed on television and in movies, and Gang Moon could provide that in front of the cameras.

It was, after all, his job.

In real life, Myo Mi-Sun was clueless about men, love, romance, and relationships. She didn’t even allow open mouth kisses on set! Her contract specifically stated closed mouth only, no exceptions, so he was going to exploit that. Even during their very brief engagement they hadn’t had anything other than a closed mouth kiss, even in private!

That was about to change, whether she liked it or not.

The only problem Gang Moon saw at the moment, was the glaring bodyguard with Myo Mi-Sun that wouldn’t let her out of his sight. The scowling man was always within reach of her, his hand resting on her back or she was touching his arm or hand.

Whenever their eyes would meet she would blush and he would smile slightly. That wasn’t normal, but the bodyguard was too old and foreign to be more than just hired muscle. Chairman Hu would never permit his precious niece to entertain herself with the hired help…

Not that Myo Mi-Sun would ever romantically entertain anyone.

It didn’t make sense, and it would leave Gang Moon with very little time to make his move.

When Ya Da and Cah So headed into the hotel, Myo Mi-Sun had her back to the crowd and that was the opportunity he was looking for.

The crowd started shouting when Gang Moon stepped out from the crowd, pulling his hat and sunglasses off.

“Myo Mi-Sun!” Gang Moon called out, a bouquet of flowers with the price tag still on them in hand.

Rain grabbed Kita’s hand, pulling it from his sidearm and shook her head. “No bloodshed in front of the cameras,” she pleaded.

Kita glared at her.

“As sexy as it’d be, I could never live with myself if you were arrested for someone as stupid as Gang Moon,” Rain pouted, batting her lashes, causing him to smirk.

“Stop flirting with me in front of hundreds of fans, the media, my baby brother, and with my annoyingly intrusive sister eavesdropping,” Kita scolded.

Rain blushed. “When you put it like that, it is simply scandalous and tabloid worthy,” she said, straightening his necktie for him to busy her hands.

Lucien thought it was amusing that the two were completely ignoring Gang Moon that was desperately trying for Myo Mi-Sun’s attention.

Lula had an entirely different opinion on the level of amusement she found in it.

“Myo Mi-Sun,” Gang Moon said loudly, quieting the eager crowd. “I was a fool and made many mistakes,” he proclaimed.

Kita and Rain reluctantly looked from each other to the groveling annoyance coming up behind them.

“I am but a man that was blinded by outer beauty that was shadowed by the ugliness she had on the inside. It was a temporary loss in better judgement. When I closed my eyes, it wasn’t her I saw a future with, it was you,” he said, his voice carrying as he headed towards his target.

The women in the crowd swooned and fanned themselves.

Gang Moon was as romantic as he was handsome.

If only they knew.

“For a handful of moments, for just a few stolen heartbeats dancing on the wind, I held the most beautiful blossom in a vast garden to my heart,” Gang Moon continued, resting his hand on his chest. “It was foolishness that caused a young man who was scared of being loved in return to open his hand and allow that blossom to be blown away from him on the breeze.” He opened his hand, hamming it up for the crowd.

Kita snorted. “Where’s the magician’s dove when you need one?” he dryly grumbled under his breath, getting a chuckle from the woman standing with him.

“I love you,” Gang Moon proclaimed. “I love you with every beat of my heart, and will continuing love you until my last exhaled breath dances upon the very breeze that pulled you away from me-”

His words cut off when maniacal laughter filled the air from the woman he was pleading and groveling at the feet of.
