Chapter 34
From the shared room, Dae-Ho emerged wearing a fluffy bathrobe, slippers, zebra print briefs, and dark sunglasses. His platinum blond hair was standing up in every which direction, and he was groaning as he went then dramatically threw himself over the back of the couch before stretching out.
“I hate French people,” he whined, sprawling out on the couch. “Cousin, you should have stopped me.”
Rain tenderly caressed his head. “Yes, it is entirely my fault you shamelessly flirted with a hot Frenchmen and drank your weight in wine… Four bottles?” she asked, sniffing him. “Red. Ew. You know better,” she scolded.
Dae-Ho whimpered. “But you weren’t there to make me stop, thus it is entirely your fault.”
“Yes, it is,” Rain agreed before kissing his forehead. “Would it make you feel better if I told you I saw Kita naked?” she whispered with a smile.
Dae-Ho pulled his sunglasses down and looked at her. “Holy crap. You did! How hot is he?”
“I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke. I couldn’t breathe, my knees shook, and I couldn’t move,” she whispered with a small smile, her cheeks reddening. “It should be criminal to look that good.”
Content, Dae-Ho sighed then slid his sunglasses back into place. “Finally, I’ve brought you out of that silly little shell you always hid in when it came to members of the opposite sex. Next thing you know, you’ll be allowing open mouth kisses in your contract.”
Rain smacked him. “Ew. No. That’s gross and so un-hygienic.”
He chuckled.
Lula watched the two curiously; they acted like siblings. The hungover young man that spent hours shamelessly flirting with her baby brother at dinner last night was seemingly the only person that could get Rain to open up and lose her endlessly, and needlessly, apologizing tongue. It was interesting to her, especially considering the situation and circumstances that brought them all together.
“Did you get everything lined out for Miss Seon Rain’s schedule?” Kita asked, joining them. He was dressed in a pair of jeans and fitted knit sweater that presented his broad shoulders masterfully.
Lula shook her head. “As informative as Mr. Hu Dae-Ho was last night, in his mind, all I learned is that he is very attracted to our baby brother and wants to kidnap him and run off into the sunset where they can live happily ever after.”
Dae-Ho held his hands up and gave them two thumbs up before whimpering. “My head hurts,” he whined. “Cousin, please make me that amazing broth that helps with hangovers. My head feels as if it is splitting in two!” he whined.
“Most useful indeed,” Kita said, shaking his head. “We need to go over formalities in order to update the dossier,” he said, turning to Lula.
Rain raised her hand. “Why don’t you just ask me?” she asked the obvious.
The two looked from her to each other and back again.
That wasn’t something they had even considered.
