Chapter 70

Seoul, Korea
Fashion Square – Outside Loft 33

Outside, Kita leaned against the outside wall of the building, waiting for his sister to start.

What she was irritated about this time?

He didn’t know.

Anytime William Lee is around, Lula was in a bad mood so it could be anything really.

Lula wans’t sure where to start, and never did she think she’d have to with Kita. Lucien, yeah. He flirted with everyone, and rather enjoyed the fast adventure which was life so he fell into bed often with those that caught his eye for more than a passing moment.

Kita, though, this blindsided her.

“Just say it,” Kita said, breaking the silence.

“I don’t know what to say,” she admitted. “Or where to start, really. I never expected this with you.”

“Expect what? Me finding out what you didn’t?” he asked.

Lula gave him a look. “Wait, what?”

“Do you know why you didn’t find anything but intangible rumors in regards to Gang Moon and Myo Mi-Sun’s very televised breakup?” he rhetorically asked.

That wasn’t what she wanted to talk about at all, but he had her attention.

“No. Even Chairman Hu knew very little of the truth behind the breakup,” she admitted. “Apparently his niece didn’t confide in him, what I’m assuming she did with you?” she surmised.

Kita looked away from her. “That vile man stalked Seon Rain in order to insert himself into her life,” he explained, trying to sound indifferent but he was still seething over it.

“What are you talking about?” Lula demanded. “All reports stated they were longtime friends.”

“They worked together in their youth, but I wouldn’t call them friends. Gang Moon inserted himself into Seon Rain’s life, forcing her to the altar that he was going to leave her at. What kind of person does that? And then to strong-arm her into going to their premier now? To support his career and act as if nothing happened and that he didn’t hurt her? Didn’t embarrass her?!” he asked, appallingly.

“Wait, what?” Lula asked, blindsided by what he was saying. “Backup. Start at the beginning and reel in the murderous rage you’re teeming with, Brother. Gang Moon stalked her?” she wanted to clarify.

Kita nodded. “Gang Moon tracked her down when she was filming, then arranged for photogs to catch them having lunch as friends and he spun it into a relationship. From there, it was a guilt induced relationship that she tried to end more than once, but he wouldn’t let her.”

Lula pinched the bridge of her nose and struggled to process this information accordingly.

Needless to say, it complicated things greatly, especially considering they would be on the red carpet supporting the vile man that she now wanted to stab herself. Also, she wasn’t strong enough to keep her big brother from snapping the man’s neck if the opportunity presented itself.
