Chapter 190
Seoul, Korea
NuStarr Talent Management Headquarters
Pan Jin’s knees nervously bounced; she wasn’t looking forward to this, but it was what her sister needed to do so it didn’t turn into a bigger scandal than it already was.
“Calm down,” Dae-Ho scolded with his mouth full of tteokbokki. “Eat something. You’ll need your strength for your first interview. Rain will keep Ong Se-Ri under control… Once she’s out of the bathroom,” he said, looking across the room to the closed bathroom door.
On the other side of the door, Rain stood in front of the mirror and was doing her makeup, putting her Myo Mi-Sun costume on.
It was one she was tired of having to wear and didn’t want to wear anymore. Once her current project was wrapped, Rain would never wear her Myo Mi-Sun costume again.
Kita was standing back, watching her. He knew she was irritated to be getting dressed up in a costume she detested, but it was a necessary evil. And he’d make it up to her tonight when they got back to the hotel; some alone time just the two of them, clothing optional.
“You’re staring,” Rain said, applying mascara.
Kita pulled his ear com out and put it in his pocket. “Admiring,” he corrected now that they had privacy. “I know you do not like your Myo Mi-Sun mask and costume, but it is necessary. Tonight, when we get back to the hotel, I will make it up to you.”
She smirked and turned to face him. “And how are you going to do that?” she asked before licking her lips.
Kita stepped into her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling Rain into him. “I have a few ideas, but most do not involve clothing and just the two of us.”
Rain looked up at him and blushed when their eyes met. “I love the way you think, Kita Yasuhiro, and I’ll love it even more when you’re naked.” She wagged her brows and slid her hands to his backside and squeezed. “A night in the hot tub like we had in Portofino, Italy, sounds perfect.”
Kita gave her a look. “No, all of the hot tubs at the hotel are in view of the public. But our shower is private,” he reminded her, and Rain smiled wide. “How long will this take? I would like to get dinner with you before we retire for the night. A back massage, you can give me a foot rub,” he teased. “Then a nice, long, hot shower.” He pulled one of her hands from his backside then kissed her knuckles, his lips resting on the ring on her finger.
Rain shivered. “Just like Portofino,” she purred, getting on her tiptoes to close the distance between them then caressed his lips with hers. “I like the way you think, Kita Yasuhiro, and I’ll like the way you feel even better.”
Kita smiled. “You are truly naughty.”
“You brought out the villain in me,” Rain reminded him. “And so many other things.”
“Yes, yes I did,” he agreed before capturing her mouth with his.
Rain moaned, knotting her hands in his jacket and pulled him into her even more to deepen the kiss.
On the other side of the door, Dae-Ho pulled his ear away then shook his head, heading back over to where Pan Jin was sitting.
“They’re making out again,” Dae-Ho said, grabbing a bungeoppang then shoved the fish shaped carp bread in his mouth. “I don’t know who they think they are kidding. We all know they’re a couple.”
Pan Jin nodded. “It doesn’t take genius to know the two are sleeping together.”
Dae-Ho’s eyes widened. “Really? I thought just fooling around in a PG-13 way.”
She shook her head. “No. Well, maybe, but I don’t think so. They are totally sleeping together. The way they look at each other, how they touch, the stolen moments they share… The pictures I had to go through from our vacation made it painfully clear that they are in love. And it was hard to find pictures to use because of it!”
“When did our sister grow up into an adult?” he asked.
Pan Jin threw a bungeoppang at him. “Shut up. The pictures of you and Tae-il were just as obvious. You do realize that the only reason he’s a Myo Mi-Sun fan is in order to cyber stalk you, right? The photos that he liked on her Instagram were the ones you were in. Did you two sleep together?” she asked, suspicious.
Dae-Ho smirked.
“Ew. So I’m the only one in my family that is single and not getting laid. That’s just great,” she whined.
He chuckled. “Don’t pout, Little Sister, it is truly unbecoming. Did you want a boyfriend? I’m sure we can find you some hot K-Pop boy or some aspiring actor or model.”
Pan Jin looked over at him and smirked. “You can keep your boybands and actors. I much rather entertain one of the members of PinkNeon.”
Dae-Ho’s eyes widened. “Really?! You like girls?”
She shrugged. “I am open minded. I know the heart doesn’t dwell on gender or sexuality, and I can appreciate beauty in all forms, but at the moment I am leaning towards girls.”
He nodded his understanding. “Little Sister, you constantly surprise me. I’m sorry we missed so much of your life.”
“It wasn’t your fault, or Sister’s fault, or Chairman Hu’s fault,” she reminded him. “I will forever be grateful for Mister Kita coming back to that convenience store.”
Dae-Ho looked at her curiously. “What do you mean?”
Pan Jin looked to the closed bathroom door on the other side of the office. “The first time, they came in together. But Mister Kita had been in after that, alone, before he brought you all in. I think he knew there was some type of familial relation between me and his charge. He knew before the others did, but he didn’t tell them for some reason.”
“Out of respect for Rain,” Dae-Ho surmised, looking where Pan Jin was. “He is very protective of her, and doesn’t allow his sister to dictate his actions. I suppose, as much as I hate to admit it, Kita is good for her and I hope that their fling can be more than just a fling.”
“Me, too,” Pan Jin whispered.
