Once its closing time at the diner, I head across the street. Mary gives me a key to rooms 2 and 3. Jamie Kevin and I make our way upstairs tom is still at the diner making sure Klara is safe. From what everyone has said the three have made no trouble and have done everything they have said. Heading upstairs to the rooms I take room 2, Kevin and Jamie take room 3. I listen while I lay in the bed smelling the air to see if I smell anything off about the three. What I smell are two males and a she-wolf. I don’t smell the decay and rot you find on a rogue so they are pack wolves. There is a line smell of something sweet I can't put my finger on but it does tell me they do belong to a pack and are not just fresh rogues. Maybe their story is true so far they have done nothing to say otherwise. I can hear they are still awake and I want to be back home sooner than later so I decided to go and talk to them now.
The door opened revealing three young wolves. “may I come in?” I ask all three looking at me with wide eyes not knowing who I am as I have pulled my aura in. Stepping back letting me in. “I know you were told that someone would be here tomorrow to talk to you but I got here early so why don’t we talk.” looking at them they just nod I can sense the alpha aura on the dark-haired boy. Moving back and sitting on the bed with the others leaving the chair for me I sit and look at them. They all look tired scared and just plain depressed. “why don’t you start from the beginning and we will go from there.” I say to them and they nod.
After listening to them I find that both myself and my wolf believe every word they said. These poor pups. After their story I let them know who I am and that I will be taking them back to the shadow pack to meet with the kings but can't guarantee the queen will be available. No one outside of the packs knows that the queen is pregnant and we are keeping it that way. “does that mean we can have our bags back to?” the older boy asks taking him in he feels familiar to me but I can't place how. “yes we just wanted to make sure you were telling the truth I know it sounds mean but we were told the entire hidden flower pack was gone.” they all nod in understanding. “do you know who the so-called master alpha is?” they shake their heads. “okay get some sleep we will be heading back early” I tell them getting up and heading back to my room. Linking Jamie Kevin and tom that they are telling the truth and we will be heading back early. Tom wants to come back to pack a few things then come back to Klara's place and make sure the town is guarded as we now know a threat is moving our way. I had plans to send a team here to watch the town and help move them if needed. I let tom know he will be heading the team here in town and to put together a few more warriors to be here with them, I will talk to Mary on the way out about a few rooms for the wolves. Tom will be staying with Klara so he won't need a room but I want to send at least ten warriors here and I know Mary will know the perfect places to house the wolves.
The next morning we all meet at the diner Jim brought me the bags and a list of things that needed to be ordered for the job. Looking over it I agree with what he has on the list so I sign off on it and hand it back so he can put the order in. When we lefts Mary's she was already on the phone calling people in town about housing one of the warriors. Ellen brings us breakfast with a smile on her face. “you look happy this morning.” “oh, alpha that tomboy that is so head over heels for my Klara is just the best he already fixed a few things at the house I didn’t have a clue how to fix. So I would like to order like ten more of him.” we all laugh as tom walks in holding Klara's hand. “well if your lucky he will be giving you grandpups soon.” her head snapping to me not understanding what I mean. So I excuse myself from the table and walk Ellen to the back and explain about marking mating and heat. Wolves tend to have pups with their fated mate fast this helps due to we sometimes having short lives. She soon understands and I can see the idea of babies has her happy. I also tell her that most wolves are pregnant for about six months alphas a bit shorter. With her being human it could be six months at the shortest to the human nine months as I have never seen a human-wolf pregnancy but mayor Jones might know as his sister is mated to a wolf.
Heading back to the table everyone is just finishing up so we say our goodbyes and I pay the bill I also leave a good amount of money for Ellen so she can provide food for the wolves once they come back I also left money with Mary for the rooms. We get loaded up in the SUV and head back to the shadow pack.
Pulling up to the packhouse we all get out Jamie Kevin and tom head to the dorms to round up seven more wolves and to pack up so they can head back to town. I have the pups follow me into the packhouse. While heading in I link Noah letting him know I am back and will be home in a while. I wanted him to know how much I missed him and wanted to know how the kids are. Noah let me know they all missed me too and can't wait for me to come home. Reaching the king's office I knock and wait for them to open the door.
Walking in I see Bridget lady Olivia and Luna Bronwyn as well as the kings and queen. As we enter the pups now sticking close to me the auras in this room could choke you. There is not a weak wolf in this room. Once we are seated there is another knock on the door and the twins along with their mate Sharon come in. That's when I notice that the blonde boy looks a lot like the twins. Lady Olivia has just been staring at him since he walked in. “boy who are your parents?” she asks him looking at her sadness all around him “my birth parents I have no clue but my mother was the gamma of the hidden flower pack she found me at the border when I was a baby. Her and father raised me along.” he says you can hear the tears in his voice. “would you be willing to give blood I have a theory?” she asks him and he nods.
