Daniel pov
Getting back to the pack with ash we head up to get Jordan ready. While out aria asked me to pick up a dress for the girl. She sent me her size so I asked ash to pick one out for her. She picked out a soft sky blue dress with darker blue lining and accents to it. I don’t know much about dressed and I probably should soon figure some of that out. After dropping the bags off at the cabin so Noah can start to wrangle a very energetic two-year-old. Ash and I headed to the packhouse to give the dress and matching shoes to aria for the girl. After today we can all stop calling her the girl, thank the hard-ass on Noah for that. Ash came along saying she wanted to help her get ready for today. Ash seems to have taken to her so I hope she accepts the boys and stays here. other than myself and Noah she is the first person I have noticed that ash has sought to be in their presents.
Telling ash to make sure to be back in an hour so she can get ready I headed back to the cabin to see how my two favorite men are. “hey you little monster get back here.” I hear as I get to the door of the cabin. Opening it up to see Noah scoop up a naked Jordan who is squealing and giggling. I couldn’t hold the laughter in catching both of their attention. “daddy daddy daddy helps the beast is getting me to help” my heart melting at his words looking at Noah I see he stilled, and looked at me with love and wonder. “monster who is the monster? Not me that you little man.” Noah says while tickling him. “dad stop please” Jordan giggles out. Noah freezes for a second then starts showering him with kisses on the cheek and hugs. “my turn” I say as I grab him from Noah. I give Noah a quick kiss before turning to Jordan “okay monster let's get you all cleaned up.” I say as I head to the bathroom where his bath is waiting. “oh my goddess look at this little suit Dan this is the cuties thing I have ever seen. I know I don’t have a green tie like you two and whispering winds colors are purple and silver I’m not gonna wear a tie so we match.” Noah is saying from the other room. “did you pull everything from the bad my love” I get the feelings of confusion through the bond and then Noah is at the door holding a tie that match's mine and Jordan's. Though my tie is striped and Jordan's is solid green, probably the only time he will wear this one, and the one I got Noah an emerald green tie with small silver stars. “think I would forget about the love of my life needing a pack colored tie.” faking hurt while I rinse the shampoo from Jordan's hair. I feel Noah's arms snake around my neck kissing me on the cheek.
We all head out to the backyard of the packhouse. There was no longer a room in the packhouse big enough for things like this. There are three packs here and one day it will be four. These four packs are the branches of the royal pack. One day when the moonbeam pack is back in full force there will be four packs here. Once we deal with this problem called Kane and rebuild the green lake pack lands. The town will be inside my borders and the royal border so they will be added to the pack and Bridget's gag border spell be put in place. I have spoken to mayor Jones a few times about this and he agrees to this. Turns out that they didn’t blame the pack for the loss of their loved ones but blamed the demons who did it. Jones didn’t lie to the families about how they died I didn’t want him to. What I didn’t expect was their refusal of the money from us to help with the cost to bury their loved ones. They want us to keep the money to rebuild the lands and expand the town. With that Jones, Noah, and I decided to move the packed closet to town so we can combine the schools and create a co-living and working community. We thought that if we would all be packed then why separate schools and stores. So we are going to be the first combined town for supernaturals and humans. I also asked if there was a way to add a no-violence spell-like if you use violence against someone within the borders your mind is wiped of the area and you are compelled to leave and never return.
Sitting at our table trying to keep Jordan clean as we all eat dinner. The girl is sitting with aria, Damien, and Brendon at their table. At the end of the table sits both Isaac and Anthony watching her like a hawk every so often I see their eyes glaze over telling me they are linking each other. I feel a tug on my arm looking over I see ash looking at me. “why are they staring at her so much?” she whispers “she is their mate and if I had to guess they want to be next to her but are respecting her wishes.” “that's stupid mates should be together right?” “yes they should but sometimes things happen and they get rejected.” her breath catches at that looking at me and Noah “dad would never reject you he loves you but I do admit mother and father never seem to be as in love as you and dad.” this confirmed my theory that their parents were chosen mates not fated as the green lake and blood moon had been practicing. “how about tomorrow we have a talk about mates and I will answer everything I can and what I cant ill ask Bridget?” smiling brightly she nods taking both mine and Noah's hand in hers. I can see the change in her in just a few short days. I truly can't wait for her to come completely out of her shell and be the kid she deserves to be.
As dinner comes to an end aria stands and gets everyone's attention. “as you all know we are here to help alpha Daniel and Lune Noah add to their family. They want to formally adopt a couple of pups does anyone have any objections to this?” holding my breath knowing that anyone could object or a blood relative could come out of nowhere and demand rights to the kids. When an older woman stands up aria gives her the floor. “if you are taking them is will the boy be heir to the alphahood?” she asks looking at me I look to aria and she nods letting me answer this. Standing up looking her in the eye so she can see the truth I am about to reveal “no Jordan will not be heir to the alphahood. Ashley will be my heir as she is the oldest so as for tradition the oldest is the heir. I believe that should tradition should be honored don’t you?” expecting a fight due to their old ways of doing things I see nothing but a huge smile and nod on her face as she sits back down. Looking around I see everyone is smiling and nodding. Ashley squeezes my hand I know she was nervous about this part of things. We had all talked and told her that we are standing firm on her being the heir. “does everyone agree with what alpha Daniel has said?” the entire room is sounds of agreement at this I wrap my arm around ash's shoulders and kiss the top of her head “see they already accept you now we make them proud what do you say?” looking up at me she smiles and nods her cheeks a bright red.
“Are there any other questions or concerns?” aria asks looking around. After a few minutes of silence, aria looks at us motioning us to her. Standing in front of her she holds her hand out and Bridget comes to her side. “do you alpha Daniel winters accept Ashley Sara Jenkins and Jordan lee Jenkins as your pups. In blood and name to treat them as they are your own?” “I do with my heart and soul.” “and do you Lune Noah accept Ashley Sara Jenkins and Jordan lee Jenkins as your pups? In blood and name to treat them as your own?” “I do with my heart and soul.” “and do you Ashley Sara Jenkins accept alpha Daniel and Lune Noah as your parent in blood and name?” “yes super yes with my whole heart and soul.” “do you Jordan lee Jenkins accept alpha Daniel and Lune Noah as your parent in blood and name?” “Daddy what does that mean?” the crowd awes at his little voice. “shes asking if you want me and Noah to be your daddy's” I answer him quietly “YESSSS YESSSS YESSSS. that's daddy and this is dad they love me and make me and sissy happy cant I stay with them forevers?” this has everyone in the room giggling. My heartache at how much his words have touched me and I know Noah is feeling the same.
Bridget reaches her hand out for ours I place my palm up and she slices it “no don’t hurt daddy” Jordan is trying to throw himself at me. I lean over and whisper in his ear “remember when I told you they would cut mine, dads, ash's and your palms so we can link us as a family with our blood?” he nods looks over, smiles and makes the hurry up motion with his hands. Again causing everyone to laugh. This kid is gonna be a clown. Once the mixing of our blood was done by Bridget aria stands again “I now announce you alpha Daniel sparks, Lune Noah sparks, Ashley sparks future alpha of the green lake pack and Jordan spark.” hugging my family to me as the room erupts in cheers.
“We have one more thing to announce then we can finish our meal.” aria says turning around.
