Kari Pov
It had been a long day I felt the pain of getting hurt a few times telling me that they met a battle but the pain was short-lived so nothing serious. It's been a while since I felt anything so I’m hoping the fight is over. I'm itching to call Zane for an update but don’t want to risk distracting him. I have been soothing myself with ice cream all day and now this is the last tub. I hope Jemma didn’t plan to use ice cream for something today or she's not gonna be happy. Just as that crosses my mind Jemma walks in looks at the garbage and at me “so pregnant huh? Should I stock more ice cream for a while?” she laughs out. I just pout at her as she laughs. How did she know I was pregnant anyway? I wonder. “I have been the head house omega for a long time. This nose knows,” she says. All of a sudden the scene at the cells came back to me. “Jemma, can an alpha smell pregnancies before anyone else?” I ask her. “of course dear. Alpha Jackson knew long before Alice did both times. Why dear?” she responds. Now it all makes sense Brendon is now an alpha his senses are just as good as damns and they didn’t tell us to let us find out ourselves. “oh just something that happened that upset me but now I understand. Thank you.” I tell her as I take the last bite of ice cream now pouting at the container. “don’t worry dear ice cream is already on my shopping list.” she chuckles as she starts making supper.
The phone rings seeing Brendon's name I answer on the first ring. “did you find her? Is she okay? Where is she?” I'm firing off into the phone. “Kari it's me why didn’t you come?” my breath hitches its aria they have her she sounds tired but they have her. Telling her we will talk about it when she was home and that I missed her so much. By the time we end the call, I'm at the freezer looking for yet more ice cream. This pup has a sweet tooth. Pouting as I'm searching the freezer I hear laughing from behind me looking over my shoulder I see Jemma just smiling that knowing smile “I ate it all huh?” she just nods and I pout.
While pouting I start thinking we have all these packs here and aria will be home in a few days. We still need to do the naming ceremony for her. To keep busy I will get it all together for the day after they get home. I know her size and I remember the dresses we wore. “Jemma I'm gonna start planning aria naming ceremony for the day after they get back can you make a meal for that day just whatever you want to make.” her eyes light up we all have been waiting for this day and know she knows they will be coming home “they have her back?” she asks me I just nod “they are staying at a hotel tonight then starting the three day drive back tomorrow so if you also want to make something for when they get home. I don’t know what time they will be home so maybe something that can be heated up and taken to their room.” I can see her mind going a mile a minute as she waves me off. I know when to leave. So I head upstairs to find Alex.
After talking to Alex we have a plan to go shopping tomorrow for dresses and suits. Again I planning on us all matching. Sitting on the bed with my notebook in my lap and Netflix playing something at random I'm trying to decide the colors again now that I have a little more time to find the perfect dress and ties for us all. My phone rings “hey baby how are you feeling?” the love of my life asks as soon as I answer. I tell him my plans for the ceremony and my cravings for ice cream. He tells me that aria loved the idea of kade and Sam being delta and gamma. Adding them to my list for outfits and a note to talk to Angie tomorrow about Sam's size. She is very very ready for their pup to be here. I have omega checking on her a couple of times a day while Sam is away. After we end the call I decide it's time for bed we have a lot to do over the next couple of days.
Damien pov
Finally, just an hour away from home it's been a long three days. Aria has been sleeping most of it and can't blame her. She has either been on my lap or Brendon's lap and we are not complaining. Having her back makes us both happy. We have talked to Kari a few times and she informed us that she had started planning aria naming ceremony for the day after we get home she wants to take advantage of the many packs we have here. Not only having our pack pledge to her we will have the 12 packs that are here as well bonding us all together. Hear laughing coming from the front of the bus looking to Brendon to have him peak to see what is going on he shakes his head “Daniel seems to be getting kade back for the hair color yesterday morning” I laugh at the memory. Daniel had been asleep at one of our stops so kade ran across the street and bought temporary hot pink to wash our hair color but since we are not stopping for a shower for a while it would be in his light blonde hair for a few days. So while he was sleeping kade put it in his hair then acted like nothing was up. When we stopped for dinner that night it was alpha white who said something to Daniel “never would have guessed pink was your color?” is all he said leaving Daniel confused through most of the meal that was until he went to the restroom. Kade waited just long enough for him to enter the restroom and he bolted out to the bus. They are brothers for sure. Once we all heard the growl we knew he Finally noticed it. Storming out “where is that jerk” he demands and sweet little Vivian answered, “the only jerk I see here is this one,” she says pointing to alpha white who just tickles her. She is only here because she is a strong healer otherwise being 17 she would have been left-back. We made sure she was out of harm's way and we only agreed to her being with us because she was a strong healer and we didn’t know what our packmates would need for healing. Aria was the worse out of all of them and she let us know that was because Lexus took great joy in beating her for taking everything away from her.
Waking aria up to let her know we are almost home she smiles so brightly you can tell she's happy. “I want us all to meet when we get home we need to figure out the green lake and blood moon packs today if I'm being named tomorrow I want to start things off but having a decision for them,” she tells us and I can't agree more so I link James, kade, Sam, and Zane that aria wants us all to meet when we get home I also ask Zane to let Kari know. At this distance, he can link her through the mate bond. I could as alpha but I figured if he linked her she would know we are close to home.
