Chapter 35
Walking into the packhouse we find a very pregnant very uncomfortable aria. She is mumbling to her belly and pushing on it. It's like she is already fighting with her pups they will be a handful I’m sure. Suppressing a giggle when I hear Bridget flat out laugh. “they being brats already?” she says laughing the whole while aria glares at her making her laugh even more “no I just keep getting a cramp in my side cause of how they are laying just trying to get them to move off it a little.” “I can help with that if you want?” I whisper to her “oh if you can help me please be my guest I have tried everything I can think of” she says slumping down on the couch. “where is the kitchen?” I ask and Bridget points the ways. Entering the kitchen I take a few minutes to find all the herbs they have here and it's not what I need. Seeing a back door I open it to find a small flower garden. Looking over what is there I pull petals from these leaves from that steam from over there. Takes me a few minutes to gather what I need and head back into the kitchen.
All the while I was outside a pot of water was set to boil on the gas stove they have. Fire is the best option for mixing potions eclectic will work in a pinch but actual flames are the best. Slowly I add everything I gathered taking a small knife and pricking my finger for a drop of my blood to bind it all. Once the water turns a bright purple I remove it from the flame. Setting the pot on the counter thank goodness it's marble or I would be working on the floor. I know most witches use whatever and don’t care but I have always thought the closer you are to the earth and ask it for help the stronger your magic will be. And if I am going to give the queen a soothing tonic tea I want it to last and be strong. I watch as the purple slowly turns a sky blue. I then strain the mixture with my hands removing all the used ingredients from the pot. Letting it set for just a few more minutes letting anything else settle to the bottom. Pouring a small cup of it I take it to her. “here drink it all fast it won't taste so good but should work fast” I tell her and she does. It took all of about three seconds for her body to relax into the couch and her belly seem to relax as well. “what was in that and can you make me more for later?” she asks me rubbing her belly looking so relaxed for the first time since I met her. “I made a whole pot its on the counter it will be good for two days then I can make you more. The tonic should help your muscles relax and allow the babies to move and roll more freely without you feeling like they are ripping you apart.it will also help when labor comes to make it less painful.” I tell her quietly. “well whatever you did you are so hired this is the most relaxed I have been and the boys have calmed down as well. I don’t think I have enough body for two alpha male pups at one time.” she laughs rubbing her belly lovingly. I can see how much she already loves the little ones she is growing.
“what brings you guys here not that you need a reason?” she says sleepy telling me she has been having trouble sleeping so this helped her a lot. “well I don’t know if you know but this little thing does not have a name so I told her you could fix that.” Bridget tells her she looks over at me sleep in her eyes I whisper to Bridget “she's about to fall asleep maybe we come back another time looks like the tonic helped her a lot and she requires a nap.” but aria waves her hand in the air “no no I’m good I have to finish signing Daniel and Noah's adoption papers and let them know that a family cabin is ready for them to move into. So giving you a name won't take too long. I'll name you then have Brendon draw up the papers to be signed by us tomorrow hows that sound.” she smiles at me I can't help but smile back and nod. “so do you have a name picked out?” but I just shake my head to answer her as I have never thought of it before. She looks me over then taps her finger on her lower lip then her eyes glow bright with excitement. “I have the perfect name are you ready?” I can see Bridget hopping in anticipation but I nervously nod my head. “Sharon Anka elin. What do you think?” the name sounds so pretty I don’t know if I could live up to it when I hear Bridget “ Sharon shinning bright oh my goddess I love it so much it is so her you are amazing aria.” making me blush as I go over the name in my head over and over the more I say it the more it feels like me. “I love it thank you so much.” “okay now that settled we will let you finish what your doing here so you can go take a nap.” Bridget says as we start to turn to leave I remembered “oh drink a cup of that in the morning and at night it will keep your muscles relaxed all day and if for some reason you get some cramps latter a half of a cup will help but don’t drink more than three cups in a day.” I say to her she smiles at me “thank you Sharon and I hope to spend more time getting to know you later.” I smiled and blushed but what set my happy meter off was being called Sharon she made me feel almost whole and I wanted to cry. “don’t you start that you still have two very worried upset giants to talk to.” Bridget reminds me as she leads me out of the pack house “oh aria if you want I can let nopants and dantheman the cabin is ready for them if you want I am heading that way.” “thanks that would be so helpful let them know the adoption ceremony will be tomorrow along with the official naming of Sharon thanks bridge you’re a life saver.” aria yawns out as we walk out the door. “you ready?” “nope but kinda out of time. What do? are you sure they don’t hate me?” pulling me into a hug “girl who could hate you you are just too adorable but if you don’t start eating I’m gonna start shoving food down your throat I can feel your bones. When did you eat last?” shrugging my shoulders as I didn’t eat often or much Kane wanted me to look certain what and they all followed his whims. “well they can wait longer food is calling for us let's go girl.”
