After reading that out loud I couldn’t stop the growls coming from my throat. But it was not just me growling out everyone in the room was pissed and you could feel it in the air. “I want to know who this bastard is and I want to know now!” Damien yells at no one. I don’t blame him I feel the same way. Bridget stands up and starts pacing. She stops and looks around “you will know soon my children just keep having faith that it will all work out” the sing-song voice of the goddess flowing through Bridget. Just as fast as she arrived she left Bridget starts to fall to the ground but I was faster than her falling. Scooping her up “well she seems to like making an entrance. I'll go put bridge to bed. I don’t think there is much more we can do right now.” I say everyone nodding and we left heading our ways.
Waling with Noah we talk about Ashley and her brother Jordan. We have both decided we have a strong pull on them and want to make them part of our family. I can feel in my heart this is what we are supposed to do and now I have a fear that she may not want to be a part of our family. Feeling Noah's arms wrap around my waist as we walk he sends his love and tells me not to worry everything will be as it should. Getting to Bridget's room we tuck her input some pain meds and water next to the bed for her. And we head to our suite.
Opening the door I see miss Ellen chasing a small naked pup around the room. we just stand there watching as they have yet to notice us. “I don’t hear the water young lady” she yells at the bathroom door. “I don’t need a shower” is yelled back through the door. “don’t you want to look presentable for the alpha and Lune when they get here to talk to you” “NO” and I can't help it I start laughing Noah couldn’t hold out any longer as well. Our laughing got both Ellen and Jordan's attention. “oh my gosh, I’m so sorry alpha I know you wanted to talk to them and they were dirty. I thought a quick bath would be best I didn’t expect you so soon.” waving my hand dismissing the apology as it was not needed. I walk over to Jordan a kneel “how about we get dressed little man?” I ask him holding my hand out to him. He looks at my hand and then my face gets a huge smile then shakes his head and takes off. Laughing I take off after him. He may have been too fast for Ellen but not me. I scoop him up in my arms and threw him over my shoulder. Getting to the bed I playfully toss him down on it. Looking down at him and his smiling fade I couldn’t stop smiling back at him. I start tickling him making him squeal and giggle as I keep asking if he is ready to get dressed. He keeps yelling no. This must-have alerted Ashley who flies from the bathroom with just a towel. “what are you doing……” she stops mid-sentence seeing me tickling her brother and Noah doubled over in laughter. Her eyes go huge seeing us and she bows her head. “hey why don’t you go get dressed then come out so we can talk okay kiddo?” Noah says to her she nods and heads back to the bathroom.
We let Ellen leave and make sure she knows to stop by later to get paid for sitting with them. I plan to ask her to be their nanny when we both can not be with them. I finally get this wiggle monster dressed and he is sitting on my lap. Ashley finally comes out looking like she is in trouble. Noah and I move to sit on the couch and point to the chair next to us. Once she sits she keeps her head bowed in submission. “Ashley I want to ask you something and I want you to answer truthfully okay?” I ask her she nods “no need to bow sweetheart,” Noah says and she slowly raises her head. “first you are not in trouble okay” smiling at her so she knows I'm speaking the truth. Seeing her relax a little I continue. “so after we talked earlier I talked to Noah, and we both want to know if you and Jordan want to be part of our family?” I watch as her eyes go wide in disbelief. Her eyes darting between up trying to find the lie in what I am saying “so like I clean up after you and cook for you type of thing?” shaking my head I can feel my anger at how she has been conditioned. “no honey as our daughter and son.” Noah says. Her eyes again wide “I can't be your daughter alphas need sons.” she whispers out and I know what she is thinking. If she becomes our child she becomes our heir. Their last alpha had a thing against she-wolves but I don’t have those same hang-ups. “why do you say that”?” “the alpha needs a son to be his heir and the heir is always the oldest and I am not a boy so I cant be your daughter.” she says I can see tears in her eyes. “Ashley if I was not alpha would you want to be my daughter” she just nods “do you believe in our queen?” she again nods “so you believe aria can be queen but you cant be my heir?” I ask her eyes shoot up to me and I know I have her now. I just smile at her as I see every arrangement she had fade away at what I said. “you would choose me to be your daughter and heir to the pack?” she asks in just above a whisper. Handing a sleeping Jordan to Noah I move from the couch to kneel in front of Ashley “I would be honored if you let me be the father figure you deserve heir to the pack would be up to you.” I say taking her hands in mine lightly squeezing them. As she stares at me I see tears break the wall that held them in her eyes. Throwing herself in my arms hugging me tightly. “so I take that as a yes?” Noah asks and she just nods her head against my chest. “well I think we need to ask for a new suite.” Noah laughs out startling Jordan who starts to cry. Ashley starts to pull away and I stop her “nope your only job now is to be a kid let Noah calm him back down. He was the one to wake him after all.” I tell her getting a giggle from her.
