Chapter 12

Damien pov

Getting up I notice a message on my phone from gamma Jordan telling him she will make sure it's done. And the package will be in my room later today. Smiling sadly at my phone as Brendon wakes up rolling overthrowing Alex's feet off his chest. We all fell asleep on the floor in my room while listening to my dad talks to the fools. Throwing a blanket over Alex we get ready for the day and head out like nothing is wrong. Only half of the warriors are here for training. So I'm going to assume the other half is searching for the missing pack member. Training goes by fast with hardly anyone here so we release them and head to relax inside. I'm making lunch and talking to Brendon about training for tomorrow when my phone dings

Casey: hello

Taking a second to remember I saved the number aria would be given in my phone as Casey.

Damien: baby omg I'm so happy to hear from you. How are you? Are you settling in? Brendon says hey kitten

Casey: I'm not a kitten. Yes, I'm settling in. I want to thank you for everything. But I don't know if I can do this or be who you want me to be it might be better if we go our own way.

Damien: we only want you to be you so you are already who we want. Everything will work itself out. Just give us a chance. We will talk to lady Olivia when we get there.

Casey: Okay

Both me and Brendon have huge goofy smiles on our faces k owing she will at least think about giving us a chance. Then my dad storms in and links us all "to the guest house now we are packing and leaving now" I go to ask my dad what happened when the former alpha storms in " you will help us in this fight Nd you will help us find those pups. Your contract says…" he yells my father cuts him off looking at me the points upstairs I know he wants us packing " I know what my contract says and nowhere I. Does it say we are your tracking hounds or that we are to fight your war? It states we are here to train your warriors to fight against your rouge problem. Is Alpha Greene's pack your rouge problem?" he yells at the former alpha with a knowing smirk on his face. The former alpha storms out "I'm calling the elders you'll answer for this." Slamming the door behind him. My father's voice in me again in my head "we leaving in ten minutes let's go."

I can't get packed fast enough running around this room making sure I have everything. Running out to the bus I see Brendon doing his mental list I call it. He's walking but not seeing as he goes over everything to make sure didn't leave anything. Waiting for him to finish watching his face, man I love that face. He nods then looks at me "are you ready? Think we can convince them to drive fast?" he says wiggling his eyebrows. I know he is in a hurry to get back to our mate as I am but shakes my head and link "I'm sure they are watching and we can't look like we are in a hurry to get home. We have to take two days to get home like it took to get here. I'm just glad they got aria and the others home in a day"

We put our bags on the bus and go help James and Zane. They have been curled up in bed since the fake rejection. Getting them packed and to the bus. I grabbed a couple of blankets and wrap them up. "just two days and you'll be with them and the pain will end." I tell them. "we are glad you came up with the plan and told us not to accept so they won't be hurting as long I hope they are not hurting," Zane says with tears in his eyes. "they were hurting but right now they are not I asked Morgain to block the pain so they can focus on getting home and safe." I tell him. I dint tell them beforehand I was asking for the rejection pain to be blocked from their mates. Hearing that they won't feel heartache like you sometimes can cause even more depression. But I didn't feel I needed to hide it now that we are on our way home. With tears spilling down his cheeks James whispers "thank you for keeping them safe we owe you." I squeeze their hands making them look at me "we are family you owe me nothing. You would have done the same for me it's what family does."
Once everyone loaded up we leave for home.
