Getting back to the pack house I throw on some pants as the warriors took the few rogues that we kept alive. I know that Tim and tom are bringing that family here to talk so i asked for food to be made for them. If they were out there alone hiding in a cave they might not have really eaten in a while. Heading to the kitchen I find Betty slumped down against the wall. I reach her dropping down to her. I pulled her into my arms holding her as she cried. When she calmed down and looked up she noticed everyone working around us in the kitchen. Trying to compose herself I make her stop and look at me. “I asked Tim to send word to Mary asking her to come home that you will need her. Go lay down rest I cant even imagine what you are going through. We will talk about the sending off tomorrow.” she nods and kisses my cheek.
Standing up I move out of the kitchens way thanking them as I went. Not many openly talk to me and I’m fine with that I am not here to be their friend I am here to protect them. I hear tom and Tim coming towards the study along with four others. I don’t recolonize the steps. Wait I thought he said his mate and seven others but I only hear and feel four others. Standing I look to the door as they enter. We were both right four adults and four pups. The pups were being carried. The way Tim and tom were hovering over the two females I take it they are their mates. How lovely they found their mates too.
Welcoming them in as Annie comes in with Jonah. He looks at the pups smiles and heads over to them. “hi I am Jonah that's” he points to me “is my uncle Jesse and alpha he will help you. But I bet your are as Hungary as me and my mama made apple pie. Do you want some?” looking up at the four pups with his big brown eyes. Sometimes I wonder if he could talk the stops off a cow. The pups look at the older man and she-wolf. They look at me I nod letting them know its fine. The she-wolf nods her head and tells them to behave.
“i am alpha Jesse Cambell.” reaching my hand out to them. “Jason waters sir this is my mate Abigail and out oldest two girls Suzette 19 and rose 18 the four that went with Jonah are Alice and Alexander age 6 and Henry and David 5. “ taking my wrist in his hand. Very curious as to why the huge age gap between the pups. What I do ask is their story. Abigail was the daughter of the gamma Jason is human. Her pack pushed for her to reject him but she wouldn't so they ran away. They have been moving ever since, they landed in one pack for a while had the older girls then her father found them took them back to the pack locking Jason in a cell for several years. Holding the girls hostage to keep Alice in line. One day the girls were able to break them all out and they have been on the run since. They had the first set of twins eight months later. And the last set a year later. They had not planned either set of twins but don’t regret having them. After Alice and Alex were born they had used protection and have since.
We welcomed them to the farm and gave them the option to stay.setting them up in a large family suite on one of the lower floors. I had Annie talk with Abigail about the kids and schooling along with clothes. Offering Jason work while they think over staying. The women already looking for clothes for the pups to wear. Annie took Suzette and rose up to her room to loan them some clothes for the time being. Taking them out to the bath house so they can get cleaned up. Once Jason and Abigail were settled they were given clothes and shown to the showers as well. Once all of them were cleaned up and smiling supper is being announced. During dinner we welcomed the waters to the pack.
It didn’t take long for them to settle into things on the farm. Suzette and rose both wanted to be teachers and had helped teach the pups how to read and write. Deciding to have them talk to the teachers at the school about helping and learning from them so maybe they can take over one day. They could also help the pups settle into a day to day routine at the school. Abigail had been the daughter of a gamma but was treated like lower so when offered training for self defence they all jumped. They had been getting by with the fact they had weak wolf scents. Not weak wolves just the scent of human was strong in them as well from what I am told. Jonah told me that the goddess guided them here. Once he can control this and or keep things to himself the better.
Over the next week things went back to normal we sent off beta Michael. I spent a few days trying to decide who to make my beta. After much debate I decided to make tom the beta and move Tim to gamma and leave the delta spot open for now. Tom was reluctant at first in taking the beta title as Mary was the heir but along with myself Betty agreed when she left the pack she rejected her role as future beta. We got word that Mary would be coming home to retentive her mother. I know I shouldn't and have no right but this pisses me off. She abandoned us all she had no rights to anything or anyone here at the pack.
