The second my wolf is back I’m out the door as well. I had heard the twins screaming in pain. But it was due to the loss of their mate and not her being hurt thank the goddess. It's been just over a day and we are still scouting we did find two dark witch's trying to escape. the Luna Bronwyn cast a barrier around them. Whatever magic they try and use backfires on them. Locking them in a magically sealed cell with no windows and covered in what the Luna says is a magic ward. It looked like powdered blood but who knows with her. I'm following our scouts running hard. Soon I feel Isaac Anthony Damien and Brendon behind me. Their mates must have woken up and they are being called them. What this idiot did was tell us where to go without knowing it. Once the guardians were found it linked the five of them together. The only downside is the queen has to be awake for the bond to work she has to see where she is or feel where she is. As long as she is not drugged or knocked out the bond pulls them together. It's a safety feature the goddess felt was a must and I can't blame her. The fact the kings were in a coma for a while tells me so was the queen. The twins stayed awake to defend them its how it works I guess. The kinds of wolves leave them to wrap around the queen causing them to be in a coma. Once aria woke and had access to her wolf they returned to Damien and Brendon waking them up.
If I wasn’t already in awe of the goddess I would be now. She really did watch out for her granddaughter as much as she could. While we had waited for my wolf to return and for the kings to wake I took that opportunity to talk to a few of the mutts we now have locked up.
“so who has a tale worth their life?” I ask looking around. The smaller of the two witches looks at me and smiles “I have a tale for you dead wolf” she sneers at me pulling a chair over I take a seat and wait.

A child was given to a girl who swore to raise it to take revenge. A long-lost friend with a special pet was searched for and found. A new coven was created. A mate found a child made but sadly male. The two male children bonded in an instant. Raised them as close as brothers. Research has been done on a new child created from the pet. Making the perfect mate to a strong male to rule the world. The child ended up being defective or so was thought. Used and tossed to the pit. Still, the plan is to take the pack back to the rightful heir who can rule it. But surprise the created child wasn’t as lost as once one thought. Alive and well spreading her legs to another giving away what was to be his. Rage filled us all. He now has her back and will have his power over his pack along with his new mate. The child is named heir to his pack. He will make her his. She will pry for death every day but I will not allow it she will live for as long as he wants. He will breed her as many times as he wants. He will take her the minute she is in his grasp no age required I will make sure.” she spits at me my temper rising with every word she says. She turns her back on me. Standing I walk out heading to the office to confirm at least part of her tale.
Going through the pack of books we brought back from green lake Bridget walks in with her lab top set down next to me. “what are we looking for?” she asks I tell her what the witch said and she starts clicking away. Leigha and alpha jay come in looking around like they saw a ghost “what's up guys?” I ask them. Staring at me “you might not believe me but my wolf says the source of our curse is here. But that was a hundred or more years ago could that even happen?” we all shrug not knowing the answer when Bridget asks “if you could break the curse would you?” looking at each other they shake their heads “I know it sounds weird but we have only known this and over the years our family adapted to it. To take it away means we could lose the others and it would take the extra ability the beta family has so no we wouldn't break it. Stop her from hurting anyone else yes.” alpha jay says like a true alpha. I nod at him.
“Found it,” Bridget tells me. Looking at her screen I see the report of john and Jerry Wilkens. Both warriors Jerry was true mate to the alpha only child a daughter Jill Greene. Jerry lost an eye in a rogue battle. They caused the alpha to order his daughter to reject him as her mate, her father then chose his brother to be her mate and next alpha. Banishing Jerry from the pack. Years later he returned had an affair with the Luna while a rogue attack was going on. The alpha is killed due to this. The alphas son Abel Greene seven at the time walked in on his mother and another man. Informing the beta of what he saw. The Luna was locked away in the dungeon.. months later both Jerry Wilkerson and Luna Jill Greene went missing presumed dead.
I read the report twice “well guess that confirms most of her story and if what she said is true Kane is the half-brother of Abel and once would have been heir. When Zane killed Abel there was time for him to claim his title he did not and the pack was given to aria who then, in turn, appointed me as the alpha. He no longer had a lawful claim of the title. “the thing about crazy is they don’t see reason”;Leigha says.
I hear crying in the hall and go see who it is “oh Ashley baby what's wrong” finding her in a ball just outside the door. “is that true does he want me and plans to make me suffer?” how do you tell your child what she heard is the truth but you will do everything in your power to stop it. “that may be the plan he has but I won't let it happen. I will do everything including giving my life to make sure you are safe.” I tell her picking her up and holding her close to me. No one will touch my daughter I swear to it.
