After finishing my meal I wait for the signal to leave. Once I was cleared to leave I head back to my room. Opening the door walking through.
Coming out of the kitchen I see Jordan chasing nova out of his room. “hey you two calm down your wolves, not elephants.” “Let them have their fun. They aren't hurting anything” I tell my handsome mate. Noah has grown up in a wonderfully balanced caring correctly run pack didn’t understand my stance on just letting Jordan run wild a lot of the time. But growing up in a tyrant-ran pack where fun was stripped away before we even tasted it. To be forced to be around other packs and pretend you're perfect when you're not. Noah always got to be himself I had to hide and for two years of Jordan's life, he lived as I did. So if letting him have a day here and there where he just runs wild and feels safe enough to do it why stop it. But one look at me and he knows I will win this argument every time.
Walking up to him placed my hands on his hips pulling him to me. “I promise not to let him go so wild he can't be pulled back in or I might that's why we need you to keep us on the ground,” I tell him cutting any reply he had off by kissing him into submission. Purring I pull away. “will I see you later?” I ask him as his fingernails scrap softly against the back of my neck and head. “sadly no I am driving nova home today we leave in an hour and there's been a breach at the university I told Liam I would drag bridge along to look at the computers new upgrade he thinks it's running slow. But secretly Bron has been working on a spell to let bridge and lie have a pup. They just need to get some final things from them and two willing blood relatives one on each side. And I volunteered to give a sample for them as well as jay did.” he looks down just now realizing what a big deal he just did. I can't be mad or even upset it's a big deal to have pups and as couples like us who physically can't, it's a sore subject. But I would do it for Kari in a heartbeat without thinking about what Noah would think. Bridget and Noah are families and best friends they grew up as brother and sister so, of course, he would offer.
Yes, Bridget has several brothers Liam included but they are all either alpha or betas whose pups fall in that line. Noah being a Lune gives the unique opportunity as a pup by him and another would be a bastard and of warrior bloodline. As he would only become the alpha of the pack should something happen to me? So his pups outside of his mated to alpha are not in line for the alphahood should something happen to the alpha. Smiling at him “I would expect nothing less so are they trying for two or just gonna choose later or one now one later type of thing?” planting a huge kiss on my lips pouring all his love through the bond. “gross dad stops that its gross.” Jordan's voice breaks us apart “ya yucky mommy and daddy do that too so yucky.” novas little huffy voice calls out the spitting image of her mother. “oh just wait until you two start do--” shaking my head looking back at Noah “nope I can't even they are kids that one is our niece and that one is our son nope can we get a do-over in their mate bond. Cause I can't even think about them growing up.” “ya man that's gonna be a hard one to explain to outsiders later on.” Bridget's laughing breaks through my rants. With a shrug, I brush it off. “The goddess does not make mistakes and it's widely known I adopted and claimed Ashley and Jordan as mine. and I have a Lune, not a Luna so I would think as wolves we are smarter than the average and could do the simple math there” I grumble
Okay, so I grew up in a pack where mates are picked out for you if you don’t find your mate by a certain age. I was getting close to that age when everything happened. I know my father had been speaking with my uncle about his twin girls. I know Tiffany and Shelly cant shift they never could. The test had been done on them for years. I found they would produce wolves with a wolf they just being born way too early didn’t bond to a wolf spirit. So my uncle was willing to pay my father a lot of money to mate them off to me and Kade as we had yet to find mates. Well, I had just non-rejected rejected by Abel. I don’t think I could have or would have been happy with Abel I think he was put in my path to find Noah all along. Noah is the best man I have ever met. And if there is a way to spread a little of him out into the world then I am so on board.
“well, dickless are you ready to go see grumpy pants he's been blowing up my phone all morning I told him we would be there when we get there I asked to lie to take nova and Jordan today so she gonna drive them to Kari and Zane. The sooner I get this stupid computer thing fixed for him the sooner he gets out of my hair.” Bridget spills out slamming her coffee on the counter. Her eyes glowed the silver of the goddess but without the aura of the goddess around her. Something is going on with her.
