Adam pov
The old lady asking me about my parents almost broke me. I have known since I was little that I was adopted not because they treated me differently no they treated me just like I was theirs. I have almost white-blonde hair and blue eyes. I am tall and broad while the rest of my family all had dark hair dark eyes. They were tall but I was still taller and bigger than them. We all decided that just meant I would make a great warrior.
We talked to the alpha kings and the queen once we were done I could see that her heart was bleeding for us. She stood up and that was when I noticed she was hugely pregnant. I think my eyes popped out of my head. She noticed too and started laughing, “alpha babies are not small and when there are two it's even worse,” she says laughing as she waddles across the room. The blonde king I think his name was Brendon stands and starts to walk to her when she tells him shes just heading to the restroom again because his sons are playing kickball with her bladder. King Damien starts laughing when she looks at him and says hey they are yours too. I have not had much experience with a pregnant wolf but from the look, she was giving you don’t want to.
After talking to them all they decided to give us rooms here for now and help us. The twin wolves mate said that from what we said it sounds like Kane is making his way here. Beta Bridget said that made sense as he would have been told and felt her power awaken, her mother would have felt it the strongest as she was blood-related to her. This makes me think back a little bit ago when we all felt something just didn’t know what it was. But we now have a name for the monster heading this way. Jay and Shelly pledged loyalty to the royals as the pack leaders. As for me, I follow jay so if he pledges to them so do I.
The old lady has me walk with her down to the medical clinic to give blood for some test, she says she has a theory as to where I came from but won't tell me till the blood tests are run. It would be nice to have some answers and finally know who left me at the border and why I wasn’t wanted. Once my blood was drawn we were told it would take a little bit for full results but just based on what the old lady asks them to run for a quick scan shows there are similar traits as the other three people she had run against causing the old lady to smile brightly. She told me to follow her and I did.
We get to a small cabin in the woods. Heading inside she motions for me to sit at the table while she makes coffee. She soon is sitting across from me and starts “so I had them run your blood against aria Isaac and Anthony. I don’t know if you know but aria Isaac and Anthony are from the moonbeam pack. Thought to be all gone but not so much. So far three of the six babies that I know about being saved are here. They all share a common gene as they are closely related to the goddess,” she says I nod following her a little. “so out of the whole pack only six babies were saved?” I ask her “I’m not sure how many wolves actually made it, but I know that six omegas saved six babies from the packhouse nursery.” we all heard about the great pack being betrayed and taken out but this is new to me I have never heard this before.
“your blood matches that marker in aria and the boys. Aria and the twins are cousins on my side of the family. The twin's mother was my niece. If you are who I think you are the twin's cousin on their father's side. As your blood is very close to theirs and you look a lot like them. So there are two babies still out there but the four that were related to one another are all here now. I wanted to tell you before I tell aria and the boys.” “wait are you saying I’m related to the queen?” she nods then says something that breaks me “your parents tried for a pup for years. Your mother had a bad accident when she was young and they were unsure if she could carry a pup full term. Then you were born and she was so happy. I want you to know you were wanted and I know your name is now Adam but your mother named you Apollo because you are her sun.” tears now running down my cheeks just hearing how much I was loved and wanted. My heart also breaking for the loss of a women I have never met but means the world to me. “do you think maybe the queen would grant me a name change to what my mother gave me I want to keep part of the name my mom gave me but I feel the need to also have the name Apollo as well?” with a bright smile she nods and I couldn’t help it I hugged her. Then it hits me what she said about the twins being her nephews “so we are related to?” I ask “dear one family is family and everyone one from the moonbeam pack is family one way or another so yes we are family” at that I just hug her again and she lets me cry and morn the family I lost. I know I am loyal to jay but I also want to get to know the family I never knew I had. “don’t worry little one you three will be here a long time so you will have us all” pulling back shocked that she knew what I was thinking she smiles and tells me she is an oracle and then things really snap in place.
