I'm so tired and weak I don’t know how much longer I can hang on. Grams is always giving me a look like I need to hang in there and I know I do. it's getting harder and harder Lexus is getting meaner and meaner. I overheard they lost contact with Tara a few days ago and they are getting mad she's the only one that can get the information they need since none of us are talking. The only thing that I'm thankful for is all the older she-wolves are being treated better than us younger ones. I have a theory that they need grams for something. The witches showed up yesterday and have tried several potions on us trying to make us talk its weird non of them seem to work making them so made. Maybe our luck is turning with them not being able to spell us to talk or maybe it's the goddess at work who did tell me that I am important so maybe she is protecting me somehow.
I haven't been able to hear Ava lately I can feel her she's just not talking to me I wonder if she is just saving her strength for when I need it the most. I learned over the months at the shadow pack we need to shift at least once a week to keep our wolves healthy. Herewith the hunters don’t care for our wolves they are trying to find a way to rid the world of supernaturals. I wanted to point out that they are a supernatural race as well and would be killing themselves off. I wonder if the witches know that when they find the oracle and descendant they will be killing themselves by giving us to the hunters. I dought it they don’t seem to be all there.
Lexus storms into my cell kicking me screaming about losing contact with Tara and wanting to know what I did. I couldn’t hold my tongue “how could I do anything stuck here chained with silver. Are you that stupid?” as she beats me for what I said I heard a few guards laughing and saying how I hit the nail on the head with that one. When one tells them to shut up that Lexus is so smart and sexy. I’m gonna gag. Did he fall on his head or something maybe he's the dummy they test the potions on and it's fried his brain? He walks in with a water bottle for Lexus when I see it poking out the top of his shirt. “you have to be fucking kidding m?” they all snap to look at me and I mean everyone. “what is the problem their mutt?” the head guard asks me. I look around and no one else seems to get what's going on so I guess it's up to me. “you don’t know?” looking around even Lexus is looking at me like I have lost my mind. I start laughing so hard that I'm choking. Grams is staring at me with concern. “oh Puddin pop here is her mate. You think he's gonna choose you over her in the end your wrong. Look at his neck she marked him he will never hurt her now. I bet he has a plan to save her when you get what you want.” everyone looks to the young guard and Lexus. The head guard's face is beyond red. Grams's eyes go wide as I laugh looking at her.
This should put a stink in some plans for a little bit. “Tanner tell me this a lie? Tell me you didn’t let this mutt bite you? Oh for fucks sake did you stick your dick in that thing?” the head guard is yelling at the younger guard whose name is tanner I'm guessing last name first name who knows. Oh, this was the entertainment I needed to lift my spirit for a little bit. I see all of us wolves are watching this unfold like it's our favorite movie.
“D… I mean sarge it's not what you think. I love her she's not like the rest you know that she's an only half mutt. Both our hunter genes would cancel out the mutt in her so the kids would be hunters I swear the witches told me. He pleas to the boss. “I wouldn't have done it without checking to make sure it was safe. I had to let her bite me it's the only way to have kids with her.” I wish I had popcorn this is getting good.
All of a sudden Ava perks up “oh Ari be ready I have a feeling something is about to happen.” oh cow pie that scared me I hadn't heard her in a while. She sounds tired but excited all at the same time. Just then alarms are blaring. My ears are ringing they are so loud. At that moment the head guy shoves both Lexus and her mate in my cell and shut the door locking it. Oh great, this is going to suck. “hey let us out of here. What are you doing?” Lexus is yelling. “we don’t have time to deal with you two right now so stay put until we come back.” the guard says leaving the room. Slapping me “what did you do?” this again geeze you would think she would be smarter. What could I have done called someone on my magic phone? I've chained to the wall with silver I can barely hear my wolf because of that.
We can hear the sound of gunfire and fighting. Someone has attacked the base. How I thought they said it was spelled to be hidden. I pray to the goddess that it's my mates I have missed them so much. I regret wasting so much time debating on rejecting them when all they wanted to do was love me and show me, love. The time I have been here I have realized that I love them so much being away from them has been so painful and I never want to be away from them again. When I get home to my mate I want to make a life with them. Have a family with them. Grow old and forgetful with them. I want pups with them lots of pups and one-day grandpups. I want to rule over the supernatural world with them. I want to start a supernatural council with elected larders of each race to oversee us all. I want harmony in our world. I understand that each race will always have our little battles over land or disagreement that each clan, pack coven, or whatever they call their units, I defiantly need to learn a lot more about each race, can solve on their own. If the problem is too big then we can step in. I want us to be a guarding hand, not an overseer.
I will have to talk to my mates once I’m home. A loud smacking sound breaks me out of my thoughts looking over I see Lexus has slapped her mate in the face. “this is your fault I told you I wanted to have Tara come here sooner but no you convinced me she would be fine now look at what's going on.” shes sneers at him “we are locked in a cage with this smelly mutt. And I cant get a hold of Tara.” I have never seen Lexus care about anyone other than herself even when she was mated to alpha Samuel. What are the collection to her. “why do you care about the young wolf so much?” grams asks “why should I tell you?” she spits out at grams but the guy didn’t get that Lexus didn’t want anyone in here to know “Lexus honey bear I’m sure your sister is fine. She probably just took off and is on her way here you did tell her you had a feeling she wasn’t safe anymore.” “shut up you fool” she slaps I’m again.
