Chapter 72
We soon find out that Kyle told Kane about Ashley through videos and notes. He told her she was beautifully strong. He also told him that she was named heir to the green lake pack. He told the guard how he knows that the master alpha will love his prize toy. First, he will kill off the bitch that betrayed him. His aunty found a way to pull the magic out of her by using her siren's blood to call it back. They just have to make his blood think she died. The magic will return to the source. This made me hunt down alpha jay and Leigha for a crash course in all things fae.
What I learned is that fae relies on bloodlines to stay strong. Their magic is shared through the bloodline. It can grow stronger or weaker by a couple of things first the size of your bloodline. For the lower fae the bigger your bloodline the stronger. Lower fae usually only manifest one maybe two magics. For higher born the offspring is harder to produce as the bloodlines had been mixed so much. A high born can have up to five powers. Meaning potions, spells or elements to even being able to move things with your mind. Then finally the royal bloodlines are the hardest to and the first to die out. How they produce offspring is and was a mystery kept close to their hearts. They have ultimate control over any power related to their court and realm. So the dark fae king would have control over all things magically aligned with the dark court.
Alpha jay and Leigha informed me that even though they have studied them their whole lives in hopes of helping them return. They still and forever will be unable to tell the rank of a fae only another fae can tell if someone is low high or royal. The fae lived similar to us wolves in groups and families. The royals oversaw all the high-born overseen the clans. They looked after each other. They use to fight among themselves decades ago but over time found it was stupid and wasteful. Soon they only fought to help the earth leaving some of their fighting skills lacking. This was their downfall.
Sharon sire had to once be a strong magic user to be able to send a message through her to us as a warning. He must also care deeply over a child he has never met for it to work. Leigha confirmed that Sharon's sire is pure blood also of a higher bloodline due to the conciseness shift. Only the really, powerful can send their conciseness into someone else. The more I learn about fae the more I worry about my pups. Leigha and Bridget both soothed my worries by telling me they are strong and will be fine. Ashley will have magic that they know and Jordan does have a strong fae sense just no actual magic. This means that the magic is weak right now due to being suppressed for so long, but both of their offspring could gain magic with the continued freedom they now have. I am starting to think that the goddess is pulling strings to strengthen the royal bloodlines and I can't blame her. Not only will the green lake have a very strong leader one day the royal beta line just got magic to help rule us all. I also learned the fae are either your best allies or your worse enemy I never want to be on the bad side of a fae after some of the things I heard.
Sitting in the library reading yet another book about the fae. My mind is filled with Stephine “kings and alpha the mutt has started talking nonsense so I believe your inside out talking thing for his mind links is active.” and she cuts the link. Setting the book down I head to the dungeons. Linking clay to have the pups in lockdown in the packhouse. They will not have my daughter. I linked Isaac and Anthony along the way to inform them of what is going on. I know they have been fighting with Sharon about locking her in with the pups but she will not have it. Saying “I have to face my demons if I’m ever to heal.” I also have a feeling she wants to save her father if she can she has many questions as we all do.
Entering the dark floor I hear Kyle talking to himself or more like arguing with himself.
“bitch I told you to shut up and tell the master alpha they know nothing.”
“he wants to know what the patrols around the land are and how open is the prize he seeks and his bitch”
“they are stupid and think he is not a threat so there are no added guards or patrols. They also still think he's far away down south.”
“and what have they made of you are you in the pack yet”
“not in the pack but have free reign they believe I was part of that group I came in with”
“you will attack someone at 11 pm on the north border so he can enter the south without a problem understood.”
“yes. Make the master alpha happy do as he wants and I mean anything do you understand. Tell the master alpha he can have you I found a new bitch”

“but, but he killed the last girl I seen him take to his tent”

I could listen no longer storming out. I link one of the guards to inform me once he knows who this sick bastard planned on taking. It wasn’t long before he told me he fancied little Addie and another small male pup he refuses to name. This has my stomach tied up he is looking at pups like that I want him dead. My wolf feeling the same burst from me taking off into the woods to run off some of this so we can focus tonight it all ends.
