Daniel pov
“no your not Isaac. Who are you? What are you doing here?” I say to this kid that looks like Isaac and smells a little like him but is off a bit. That’s when I notice he doesn't smell like a pack wolf but not a rogue either so he must not have ever been in a pack and is still young. I'm staring at this wolf noticing how closely he looks like Isaac, same tall frame both are big but where Isaac is muscular this wolf looks leaner like he's been lacking the proper food to fill out all the way. They share the same face and eyes the color of a brewing storm, silver, and blue swirls, his white-blonde hair is a lot longer than Isaac's but the same shade.
“my name is Anthony, I was told to go to the shadow pack and speak to the queen and her kings. Also, the alpha of the green lake pack is supposed to be in the room as well. Is this something you can make happen?” he says to me. I can see the seriousness in his eyes. I feel he is important but I’m not sure how yet and I don’t want to tell him I am the alpha of green lake just yet I want one of the kings to have a look at him first they seem to have a very good instinct when it comes to others.
I link Noah “babe can you ask one of the kings to come to the border there is a young wolf here who says he needs to speak to the queen and her kings” he replies with a yes and cuts the link. “I linked my mate to have someone get one of the kings should be here soon.” I tell him when he asks me the most random question I have ever had “what is it like to link with someone?” this takes me back because even if he was born a rogue you still have family links so he should have been able to link his parents or any sibling so I ask him “didn’t you ever link with your parents?” shaking his head he says “I was not raised by my birth father so nope never had anyone else in my head.” this takes me by surprise before I can ask anything else he says “ill tell the queen and kings my story and no one else I’m sorry but that is the way it has to be.” with that he sits back down and waits for one of the kings to get here.
Damien pov
Heading to the border where Daniel is to meet with a young wolf he says I need to talk to I am confused as to why. Daniel is very capable of talking to young rouges looking for help. He has his pack he can allow them into. So for Dan to be asking one of us to come has me on alert.
Reaching the border I let them all know I was there. As I get closer to Dan I see him staring across the border, following his where he is staring I see Isaac. “hey what's Isaac doing across the border and where is this rogue you want me to talk to?” I say to Dan as I pat his shoulder. “that's not Isaac. His name is Anthony and he is the rogue.” Daniel states making me look again. He is right that's not Isaac the scent is similar but different, and there are a few things different like muscle mass and hair length.
“Hello, I'm alpha king Damien and you are?” I say to the pup. He stands up and I note that if he put some muscle on and cut his hair I would have a hard time telling him and Isaac apart. They have to be related. “I am Anthony Silverlight, and I need to talk to the king, queen, and the alpha of the green lake pack.” he says. “well I am one of the kings so you can talk to me,” I reply. His eyes get big and I can see the surprise in his eyes. “what do you me you are one of the kings? Your so young like my age shouldn't the king be older?” he asks. “Yes and no it's a long story we don’t share out of the pack I’m sorry but you understand.” he nods his head saying no more waiting for me to make a decision. I link my mates that I am bringing a young wolf to the office who needs to talk to us.
What can go wrong I ask myself when I finally agree. “bring him to my office please Derek.” I say to one of the guards that work the border. He nods and walks over to the pup so he can escort him to my office. I link Brendon and aria to meet in the office. Watching them walk ahead of me I also linked a few wolves to have them cover the border.
Walking with Daniel “why didn’t you tell him you're the alpha of green lake?” I ask him. He looks to me with this look on his face “I have this feeling that yes he's important but also that I needed to keep it to myself until we are all in the same room. He thought this was the green lake pack, to begin with, so whoever sent him here didn’t have all the information.” he tells me stopping for a moment before continuing “and he looks so much like Isaac I don’t know how to deal with that. He refused to talk to me. Something seems off with him.” nodding I agree with him I have been getting a weird feeling about him since I got to the border. We will find out what is up with this pup and soon.
“I want to have him and Isaac kept apart until we figure out if they are related. So I'm thinking blood work is needed. Since Isaac is now in my pack I link him to go have blood drawn at the clinic. Do you think he will put up a fight about it?” I ask Daniel. “Nah, he's a good kid always was. Your his alpha know and he has started to open up and shine since you took over the blood moon. He will do anything you tell him he looks up to you and feels he needs to be close to you three.” Daniel tells me and I nod.
