Chapter 46
Unknown pov
It's been days since we have been taken. I have been lucky to not be taken to the demon yet but I know my time is running out. Many she-wolves have been dragged to him and none have returned. I can hear him yelling at whoever he has with him now wanting to know why he does not have control of the pack. I have to give it to the woman they have not broken and told him about jay yet. I felt when father gave the pack to jay and I know the rest of us did as well. We were a small private pack. Keeping to ourselves but are also willing to help if needed. We felt the day our new queen arrived and we rejoiced. A few days before the devil showed up at our borders we felt another power awaken around us. None of us knew what it was but it didn’t feel dark it felt warm and welcoming.
Jay and I were gonna be turning 18 in a couple of months. Father was planning a big party hoping to help us find our mates. This would also start jays training in the alphahood. In our pack the alpha does not start his alpha training until they hit 18. from the age of thirteen to sixteen we spend time training in self-defense and some who plan to be warriors do the extra training. At sixteen we start looking to specialize in our chosen fields and mold our training around that. Father also insisted that one day a week the whole pack got together for a fun day. This was a day we all got together and just played and had fun. Father believed this would straighten our bonds and I think he was right. I know that this horrible man and his friend have touched at least ten of the she-wolves and not one broke and told them about jay. We all know we may not make it out of this but as long as jay is safe and still alpha our pack will survive.
Huddled in the corner with me is Addie the youngest child of the beta family. She told me she felt all but Shelly's bond to her break. I had not seen her here and being that she is jays best friend and future beta I hope they are together. Shelly is a tomboy and so I bet they mistook her for a young male. She and jay are about the same size and often shared clothes. My fear for Addie is stronger than my fear for myself. She is the youngest being held and I pray they don’t plan to do something unthinkable to her. Every time they come I push her behind me in hopes if they don’t see her they will leave her alone.
The guards finally give us water and something to eat. It was barely anything but I still gave it to Addie to eat. She had just cried herself to sleep when a couple of the men showed up. Taking to each other is too low for me to hear but it makes my skin crawl. They glance over at me and I see their eyes land on Addie. With a sick grin, he opens the door and heads over. Reaching to grab her arm I move to block him; “don’t test me girl. Now give me the little one the boss wants a word with her.” he growls at me. Looking down I can't let them have her. “take me but leave her please I will answer his questions,” I tell him passing Addie to one of the other girls. She pulls Addie close to her as I stand. Looking over I nod to her and she nobs back. If we had not been given these horrible silver bracelets we could have linked each other but silver blocks our wolves.
He looks me over and smiles grabbing my arm yanking me out. The door is shut and locked behind me as I’m dragged upstairs to meet my end. I’m pulled into my father's office and sitting at his desk is a big man. If it was not for the evil glint in his eye and the sneer on his face he could have been good-looking. Behind him is another guy who seems to have the same look in his eye. Once I am in front of them the smaller guy walks around the desk coming to me. “well what do we have here?” he says as he places his finger under my chin making me look up at him. “this one looks a lot like the dead alpha of these wolves.” he tells the other guy over his shoulder. “hello darling I am your new master alpha Kane Jones and this is my beta, Brian Holmes. We have a few questions for you. If you’re a good girl we will reward you but if you are a bad girl we will punish you. Do you understand?” I nod my head. The whole while he is talking the one called Brian is walking around me touching me. “strip girl I want to see all of you while Kane asks his questions.” shaking my head. Being naked isn't a problem for us wolves but something in the way he says that tells me he wants to do more than look at me.
He didn’t give me a choice and ripped my clothes off me. What he didn’t mean to do was to break the silver bracelet. It was still around my wrist but I knew it wasn’t around my wrist. I could feel my wolf stir a little at the break in sliver. Pulling my hands in front of me to hide what I am doing I slip the bracelet off some and work the silver core out of the plastic. These are special bands I have never seen before but I overheard some of the men talk about how the coating is to protect them when they put them on us. At least this asshole didn’t want to hurt his men I guess. Once I have the silver pulled out I ball my hand around it. Just in time for Brian to turn around and pull my hands from around me, he pushes my hands down to my sides telling me to keep them there. He walks over to Kane and with both of them not looking I drop the silver in my clothes. I am looking down at them toeing them to hide the silver. A young wolf walks in and Brian points to my clothes he nods and scoops up my clothes. “burn them she won't need them anymore” Kane says not looking at him he still nods and leaves the room.
“shall we start?” Kane says walking over to me running his finger along my collar bone,
