Chapter 23
Brendon pov
Waking up feeling sore all over looking at my mates I can't help but smile. There is a banging on the door groaning as I get up to find shorts. Looking back I throw a blanket over my mates just the thought of someone else seeing them has me growling. Making it to the door there's an omega standing there looking scared. “sorry wasn’t growling at you. Um, can I help you?” I say rubbing the back of my neck. “um the alpha sent me to get the young alpha and beta he said you both late for a meeting.” He says looking anywhere but at me. Looking down I notice I have love bites and scratches all over my torso. “okay thanks will you let him know we will be down shortly also can you see if future delta female Kari can come here please?” he nods his head and hurries off.
Closing the door I turn back and wake my mates up. “d we need to shower and get to the meeting we are already late. Kitten, I asked to have Kari come up and keep you company.” Both groaning I can tell and feel they both are just as sore as I am. Aria just rolls over grabbing mine and Damien's pillows. Damien followed me to the shower. While in the shower Damien says “ do you think aria wants to make the plans for the room upgrade cause there is no way I can sleep without you both now.” He smirks before kissing me. “o think we should let her have full reign of the redo.” Pressing into him. “don’t start didn’t you say we are already…” he stops talking as his eyes glaze over. I finish washing him and I know g that it's probably his dad. He co es back to me as I shut the water off.
Smacking my ass as he steps out grabbing towels tossing one to me we head to get dressed. I grab a pair of his sweats “I need to move my clothes here cant show up in your sweats all the time.” Grabbing two shirts heading to the bed slipping one on and pulling the blanket back. “fuck” I whisper out seeing aria laying there naked “what? Oh damn, I could get used to that sight” Damien says coming up next to me. “I know right? Help me get this on her you know Kari probably won't knock.” We both laugh putting the shirt on her kissing her forehead we cover her back up and leave.
“Brendon are you and Damien free to come to see me today? I tried him a bit he has links blocked” lady Olivia links me. “yes ma’am after the meeting with the alpha we will come to see you.” Damien looking at me with his brow raised. Damn, he is so sexy. “lady Olivia wants us to come to see her later.” He nods as we get to the alpha's office.
Alpha Jackson pov
I'm getting so mad, both Damien and Brendon have me blocked. they have never been late for anything or blocked me. They are so late I sent an omega to find them. He reported they were both in Damien's room and Brendon told him to tell me they would be down soon. I'm glad they are comforting each other I could see how much they are both hurt. Sitting at my desk waiting no one is talking just waiting for these two. When they walk in I notice right away their aura has changed. They both smell. Different I look at them both I notice the mate marks peeking out of Damien's shirt. Glancing at Brendon I see the same. All thoughts of anger vanished as a huge smile formed on my face. “meeting canceled for today we will have it tomorrow pack BBQ tonight” I announce. “Damien, Brandon stay please.”
Once everyone leaves I smile at them. “So just a few things. First when? And why is your aura so different?” looking at them they now look confused. “what do you mean dad?” Looking between them I notice they both have no clue what I'm talking about. “maybe we need to see if we can meet with lady Olivia something is going on with you two?” at this point I'm thinking out loud. “funny you should say that she wanted to see me and Damien today after the meeting” Brendon says. “well let's go boys” I tell them heading out to see lady Olivia.
As lady Olivia's hut comes into view her door opens and she steps out with a huge smile on her face. She looks at the boys and squeals. Like a teenage girl who had just been given her dad's visa and told no there's no limit. We are all standing stunned not knowing what to do. “it's happening oh my goddess. Where is she? Where is all my stuff? When is the next full moon? Will it matter if there is a full moon?” lady Olivia rambles on. Some of the things she is saying have me confused. Then she looks at the boys wanting an answer. “she's still in bed.” Brendon says. “oh alpha I'm so glad you’re here. We need to hold an alpha ceremony. It will be a bit different than normal. We have to name aria alpha Luna so it will call all moonbeam pack-born wolves here. The Mani pack will be reestablished inside the shadow pack.” She says. “what do you mean” I ask. “we need aria here so I only have to go over this once.” she says very seriously. When no one moves she gets this scary look on her face causing the boys to jump up and run out the door saying they will get her. Then she tells me, I should have Alice come along as well. I link my mate to have her head this way. I have a feeling this will be a long day.
