I am happy for my friend he will make a great father and Kari is a force to reason with. Their pup will grow to be a strong beta I have no dought about that. Kari is going to hate that she can't come and help to free Aria but I will not risk her getting hurt and losing the pup. I will leave her to run the packs while we are away. Looking at Brendon I have a feeling he is thinking about getting our mate back and filling her belly with our pups. I plan to keep them both locked away in our room. Just the thought of it has me getting hard. Brendon reaches under the table rubbing against my semi-hard cock. “stop thinking of such things we don’t have time to take care of this right now.” he links me. Leaning over I kiss him deeply promising more later.
After lunch, we all head to the office both Brendon and I have decided that we will offer Sam and Kade the ranks here today with the promise of making it official when we name Aria Queen Luna. Luna Bronwyn let us know that her packcoven will arrive by dinner. Letting the kitchen staff know to plan for a welcome BBQ for our guests. I plan to loop Alpha Liam White in on the plan and ask for his help in this fight. The Luna assures me that her packcoven has been waiting for this day and we will have their full support. Brendon has also made it clear our closest allies will be making their way here in the next few days. The alphas of those packs tell him that they will follow whatever plan we make. This surprises me due to alphas are not known to follow someone else's say so. They like to lead not follow. I am again reminded that this is not just for someone's mate but the future of us all and our Queen Luna. All of the wolves who follow and whole heartily believe in the goddess want to serve her.
We waste no more time with making the plan to invade the area in which the map tells us to go. The Luna Bronwyn tells me if there is a chance that they will move her the map will show up so we do not have to worry about not finding her just the fight to get to her. I know that I cant feel her through the bond but I still try and send my love to her through it. This is something I know we both have done every day. Even if it is a small chance she feels it I want it there I need to know that the second she can feel the bond again she can feel how much we love and miss her.
The plan is simple with the ten packs coming to help we will spread around the area locking them in. Not one hunter will escape us. The shadow pack being the largest of the packs will take the larger area to cover. Brendon, Zane, James, Kade, Sam, Daniel, and the elite warriors will be front and center. Each team will have a member from another pack so that we can rely on messages throughout. We will have the alphas command sections of the border we make. Starting with a wide circle we will make our way in closing in on them and bringing them all to one place. A safe distance from the actual fight we will have the medical team wait they will come to help once we have taken over and it's safe for them to tend to our missing pack member our Queen and any other injured wolves and witches.
Once we have our plan set I know we are all getting tired and in need of a break the whispering winds packcoven will be here soon so I decide it is time for the last item on the list for this meeting, “Kade and Sam Brendon and I wanted to ask you to take up the rank of gamma and delta. Sam, you have shown great strength in enforcing the laws and battle strategy so we want to offer you the gamma rank. Kade, we have been watching you train and grow and have seen the way you have taken stood in for Sam in training when we needed Sam somewhere else. The both of you have shown you are loyal to this pack and every wolf here. We feel that you both would make for a great addition to the leading of the packs. What say you?” Brendon takes my hand as I’m talking to show his support of what I am saying. Both Sam and Kade look like they have been blindsided and I guess in a way they have. We had not mentioned looking to fill those ranks yet, but that didn’t mean we didn’t watch for those to prove themselves. We know that if Sam agrees to this we will be looking for a new warrior head but to be honest its the last thing on our list we all can help to train for now. “alphas I would be honored but I would like to have the Queen Luna's approval as well.” Sam says and Kade nods his head to agree. My smile widens as that was the one thing I forgot to mention. We wanted to offer the spot but not make it official without the Queen. “we agree to this and we have planned that the queen will appoint you to your new rank, not us.” I tell them. You can feel the acceptance around the room when Zane says “Kari you know I love you and I know you’re a force but I don’t want you going I need you to stay here.” he's pleading to look to me for backup on this nodding “yes Kari I agree with Zane. And before your temper goes off I need you to be safe aria needs you safe. She would be so upset if you went you know that. Also, I need someone to run the pack while we go get her back, and who better than the queen best friend.” hoping that I have avoided pissing off a pregnant she-wolf. With a sign she just nods her head knowing we are all right “but I get to tell her about my pup. if one of your breaths one word of it we will be having ball soup for supper do you understand?” she glares at us all making every man in the room grab themselves nodding our heads. The only sound is Luna Bronwyn laughing. I don’t think I have heard some laugh so hard in my life. She still laughing hysterically when there is a knock at the door “come in” Brendon says as the door opens we hear a booming “boy I haven't heard you laugh that hard in a while what's so funny firefly?” whipping her head to the door Luna Bronwyn squeals and runs to the mountain that just walked through the door. Standing a good 6 foot 6 inches of nothing but muscle. His caramel skin peeked through the intricate black tattoos that cover his arms disappearing under his shirt to pop out up his neck. This man screams Alpha. His piercing moss green eyes scan the room. Landing on Brendon and I smile “you must be alpha stone and alpha hemming it's nice to meet you I’m alpha Liam white” extending his arm. Clasping each other's forearms in greeting “it's our pleasure alpha white and please in just call me Damien in here.” he nods. “You and your pack must be hungry we have a BBQ for your welcome. Sam can you find out why we were not informed of the alphas arrival?” before Sam can reply alpha white says “I told them there was no need to inform you that we were expected.” looking confused because he knows just as I did that my wolves would have still told me. At this point, Luna Bronwyn is doubled over laughing so hard I’m worried she won't be able to breathe. “umm what's so funny?” Kari ask when Alpha white looks at his mate “you didn’t tell them about the charm you were testing did you?” she shakes her head. “how would I know if it worked if I told them?” throwing his hands in the air “what have I told you about blindsiding others and using everyone as guineas pigs?” you can tell this is conservation they have had many times but the love that spills through the whole things lets me know she meant no harm.
“I had been working a charm I’m calling the Midas tongue. It's a necklace. Whatever the wearer says others agree to. It's a bit risky due to being in the wrong hands and all that. But I plan to only make one or two. The idea was so when questioning prisoners they will be compelled to speak only the truths and feel it was their idea. It would help to find out if someone was spelled to do something as some have insisted that they were.” she says giving me a clear idea of how she planned to use such a charm. “I hadn't planned to bring the charm from our pack to be known to anyone but the whispering wind but as this is the queen we need to save I got the impression you could be trusted.” she's looking to me with a look that tells me no one outside this room knows of this charm. “I have no idea what you're talking about I’m sure I just forgot that I told my men just to send you through,” I say with a wink earning me a bright smile from her.
“are we done I’m starving?” Kari breaks through earning more laughs and nods as we head to the door. “alpha on the way here I overheard ten more packs on the move here set to arrive tomorrow” nodding back at him “well that's sooner than we thought I say in three days we will head to get our queen.” we that we all head out to eat rest train and wait for the packs to arrive so we can hand out assignments and head out to get my mate back. Pulling Brendon into a kiss I whisper against his lips “we will have her back soon.” “and lock her in the room,” Brendon says back we both smile.
