Waking the next day Noah tells me he wants to meet with Sharon and Luna Bronwyn he has thought of something. So after we eat and drop the kids off at school we head to the packhouse and call the meeting. Once everyone has entered the king's office Noah starts “so I had a thought Kyle said that after he sends the phone he is to wait until he gets a mind link telling him where they are. But if we have him in the cells he could tell them it's a trap. So could you spell him to be unable to tell them anything.” as he finishes what he says it clicks in all of us that what he saying is true and why had none of us thought of this before now. Noah confirmed he didn’t think about it until last night when Ashley was telling us that Kyle had started conservation with her. Sharon and Luna Bronwyn look at each other nodding like they can talk to each other without talking but since they are both witches I guess maybe they could.
They both got up and walked out of the room as Bridget enters along with her mate Leigha. Leigha stops and stares at Sharon as she leaves the room. “she's half-witch and …..” she stops talking and her eyes widen as she watches Sharon walk down the hall. Looking back at us with disbelief in her eyes “what is wrong?” I ask her as she looks around the room. “she just mated with her fated mates didn’t she?” she asks but the look on her face tells us all it was a question she already knew the answer to. “the power surge that we all felt.” she starts pacing the room soon alpha jay appears looking at his sister like he has seen a ghost. “who was that girl?” he says pointing down the hall. This is the first time they have seen Sharon as she has been staying mostly in the twin's room with Kyle roaming around.
“she's a young witch who came a long way to find safety and she is the mate to the queen's guardians why?” alpha Liam asks. “do you know what she is?” “yes, a witch as we just said” “no her other half?” at this we all shake our heads all we knew was she was something ancient. “it was rumored of one still being alive but I thought the old man had lost it.” Leigha said as she contui9nes to pace the room. “tell me now what she is and is she a danger here?” aria demanded with a growl in her voice, “oh no she no threat to you or yours here she seems happy here. Her sire must be found though if he is still alive.” the more they dance around the answer the more we are all growling wanting answers. “sorry sorry shes half dark fae. Long thought to be gone from the world along with all the other fae.” my eyes shoot to Bridget as we have yet to tell many of the fae blood in Ashley and Jordan. Leigha catches the look between us and scowls at us. “my daughter and son have fae blood in them from their mother's side. The goddess told Bridget a while ago.” I tell her most in this room know about ash and Jordan.
+“so tell me should we be worried that she's a dark fae?” I ask Leigha looks at me and shakes her head. “the dark fae have this way about them they are nothing but loyal to those who deserve it. those who they see as an enemy may find death too nice.” this had me thinking for a second before I asked “say she was created to mate with someone, they planned to force a mate bond to have her power could that happen?” terrified of the answer when her eyes bug out and it looked like she was struggling to breathe. alpha jay speaks up “they have once shot to force a mate bond to a dark fae and that is at the moment their power awakens in them. After that, if tried to mark them and not be a fated mate they would be cursed. The curse I know nothing about as we didn’t have that volume in the tomes. It's thought to be lost or maybe not written about.” being very confessed by this I ask the question I’m sure we are all thinking “how do you know so much about them?” Noah asks
“long ago our pack was the last haven for the fae. During the wars of power between the races. The fae can only have offspring with their mates so they were slowly dying off. A witch in our pack granted a young fae’s pleas to break the blood bond that they all have allowing them to have offspring with chosen mates. But they have to be willing to enter mateship. She was able to break the blood bond but not a mate bond to their offspring. So they both have to be marked by each other willingness to be able to have offspring.” “so Sharon's mother and her sire are mates?” I ask but then I had a feeling I already knew the answer. “I don’t think they are as the witches that made her are from a line of dark witches and with blood magic they can do some pretty nasty things. I have a feeling he is or was being held prisoner for his blood. And once the opportunity to create a strong coming about they took it.” we all sit in silence for a while then Anthony growls out “so your saying my mate's father is in trouble and we are sitting here on our asses if his blood can causes bad things to happen shouldn't we save him?” the deadpan look and pure anger I see in Anthony is strong opposition to what he normally is. “we won't be able to find him only she can but she needs to find the fae chain of life in her that connects them to find him.
