The next couple of days were not my finest moments. I was so distracted by avoiding chad that I couldn’t concatenate on my lessons and destroyed all but one of my gym outfits. So today I will be heading to the whispering pines mall. Stopping at alpha and Luna spark's house to see if they needed anything on my way. Another reason for going by my father's former name of winters was due to the sparks being the alpha, Luna, and deans of the university. My official enrollment is Ashley sparks alpha heir of the green lake pack. But as for the students and rosters for the classes, it states Ashley winters of the green lake pack. Nothing more nothing less. I didn’t want to lie outright so we didn’t. we all felt it was a good idea to see if it would work. The only problem was with those from my pack and sister packs that know me. But that's easy enough to fix with an alpha order. Queen aria had held a pack meeting for all members of all packs in the central packs. Since I was the first of the leaders of the pack's heirs to start at the university we all wanted to see if by not disclosing my rank how I would be treated vs those that have disclosed their titles.
Staff from other packs as well as students from other packs and ways of life. Since this was a wolf's idea and plan we also wanted to keep things for me as even as possible. My fathers wanted to see if the other high-ranking members of the packs, hoards, colonies, and other ways of life expect to be treated like the other students or expect special treatment. Then there is the fact that some still are not over the fall of the Anderson's and the Greene's even almost six years later. So if it's known to those supports that I am the heir to the alpha of the green lake pack might not be a good idea.
Walking into my room I see a short dark-skinned girl reaching for my pillow where Allister is laying. “don’t” I growl. Even though Allister has been in this stone state since the day I found him I feel very connected to him. She jumps back the fear spilling off her in waves. “ssssss….sorry” she mumbles. Sighing I let out the frustration I was feeling it's not her fault I can't get my shit together. “no, no I am sorry. I have a little brother and I have not been having what I would consider good days the last few days. Let's start over I am Ashley and that” pointing to Allister “is Allister and it's best if you don’t touch him. Nothing personal but it's personal.” I shrug sticking my arm out to shake. Jumping back her eyes widened. “you’re a wolf? Why are you in this dorm? Shouldn't you be with the other wolves? Does the headmistress know about this?” she starts yelling backing up. Holding my hands in front of me “hold on please I can only answer one thing at a time. Yes. I am assigned to this dorm because I am not all wolves. I asked to be put in these dorms due to some control issues with magic recently. And they do know I asked them personally to assign me to the magical beings dorm. Did I get them all?”
Grabbing some clean clothes from my dresser heading to the en suite to shower. “I meant it when I said I wouldn't touch him he's very picky. I am heading into town to the mall I need some things you are more than welcome to tag along if you want.” I holler from the shower only to hear the dorm door slam shut. Well, that was a good first impression. Both my wolf and I shrug. A groggy Allister enters my head. “I don’t like being away from you it's hard to rest and recover.” “can you shift to something else then something I can keep on me? A feeling of understanding fills me and a pull on my chest. I feel a pop and a slight weight falls on my chest. Reaching up I feel a locket-style necklace hanging down from my neck. Following the chain I cant feel a clasp. It's almost as if the necklace is attached to my skin I can't remove it and it moves with my skin. “I will stay like this even in your wolf form. Think of it as a living mark.” and he drops off into soft vibrations on my chest. The weight and feel send a feeling of comfort and wholeness through me.
Coming out of the bathroom alpha Liam comes in with the girl. Bowing my head to him. I see her smirk. “okay girls what seems to be the problem?” I shrug and she balks and starts pointing at me. “I have no idea what the issue is alpha.” tripping over calling him alpha as I usually call him uncle. I can feel the smirk through the bonds mostly because he sent it my way. He can't show any favoritism. “well Janet what is the issue?” if nothing else I got her name. “she's a wolf and she talks about a creepy statue like it's alive.” she says pointing to my bed. Uncle Liam already knowing about Allister looks at me. I shake my head something about this girl has me on edge all of a sudden. A cold chill runs down my spine. Linking him “uncle maybe a change in rooms might not be so bad.” I can feel him shake his head. Before answering “don’t have the room as of right now new dorms are set to be built over the winter.” he says out loud so we both can hear it. Looking between us he says “gonna have to just make it work. Remember this is new for us all. There is some witch in Ashley's bloodline giving her some magic so she needs to be in this dorm until she has control over the magic. Once those are both met we can revisit the idea of a room change.” I nod she huffs and storms off mumbling about calling her father.
