I don’t think it's possible.” a small blue-tinted female says. “what if we don’t need to perform the travel spell just develop it? If I can leave a message for a witch/ pixie hybrid and a high priestess of a coven and Luna of a packcoven. Then they can perform the time travel or return to the right time spell. The only spell we have to do is freezing the lake through time.” I ask maybe with a little too much hope in my voice. But as she listens to me she seems to be thinking of what I am saying. It's when the darkest-colored female speaks up that sends chills down my spine. “how tight is your bond with the young lord? Could you not use his fire to freeze the lake?” feeling of dread washed over me. To use the amount of his ice fire it would take to freeze the lake could take Rhett's life. So not an option. Glaring at the female. “not an option. I will not.” I didn’t get to Finnish when she waves her hand. “not to the point of his death but he won't be able to revive himself alone. And we don’t have the combined power without the fae king to help him trigger his resurrection.” thinking over what she said Rhett asked “what would it take to trigger it if I could not trigger it myself.” pulling me to him fear running through all of me. Rhett's arms wrap around me tight when a knock pulls our attention. “enter” alpha Adam said.
A young warrior opens the door stepping in “alpha Mia KnightFlame is at the border she demands to see her brother and you.” I feel the annoyance as alpha Adam nods his head. “what does she want?” it was not long before a very pissed-off small and I mean like I’m small but I’m so much bigger than her. I think nova will be bigger than this tiny thing in just a few years. Her eyes were the same golden green as Rhett's. Only they don’t have the reptilian look no they have a canine look, not like my wolf’s but close. Her red with white blonde highlights give her a glow about her. The anger in her fills the room almost too hot to breathe. Looking around I see others having a hard time. Only those that seem to have a relationship with fire can still breathe with no trouble.

Something in me called to her and I pulled from Rhett to wrap my arms around this tiny little thing. I can feel her stiffen as I hold her. After what felt like years she finally settled and hugged me back. “never would I expect you to lose your brother I couldn’t even imagine if I lost mine. Little brothers are a gift. Even if they are pains in the ass. Maybe you can help us find a way to set everything right and not risk your brother my mate. Between you and me I refuse to lose him as well.” by the end she let all her anger go. I can feel the shake in her shoulders as her sadness seeps in.
“Well, it looks like we need to gather more magical beings and do some major brainstorming. Is the witch that is the source of the issue contained? Stiffing how do I tell them the real problem I have to let go and do her evil to keep the timeline? Swallowing I answer with “Janet is unable to leave where she's been placed. And she can not be summoned or summon anyone she is magic-less right now.” pulling away from the small woman that is my mate's older younger sister.
Squaring her shoulders she looks around. “what do we have so far?” falling back to Rhett as Mia begins to pace. She is not a sit still person. Listening to what we have I can see white fur sprout and recede the back of her neck. She is not liking what we have so far. “well that's easy our mothers and father or I could help with blood to blood. We can trigger him no problem I mean I am pretty sure father could trigger it now if he wanted.” sadness fills me and Rhett feels it. I can feel he wants to ask and I just shake my head. I can't tell them in my time there are no dragons or lords of the clans.
“yes yes you could but your blood is not strong enough we need your brother's heir to trigger the resurrection.” the earth elemental said. Leaving the room deathly silent. “does my hair have to be born or just blood from my offspring?”
The shock of what he's asking goes through me. Does he have an heir already? Has to be been with others? I mean why would I be mad about that no it did he love someone enough to have a pup with. Am I ruining something he has with someone? My thoughts went wild when I hear Mia's excited chatter.
