Daniel pov
So the day has come for the pups to be introduced to the packs. Aria and Kari have kept it close to the sleeve wanting to make it a big party for the packs. They said that we all need something good and the babies coming at the same time was a sign. They planned a party to celebrate the birth of the three royal babies who all share a birthday binding them together even more. Getting Jordan ready was not as easy he was jumpy and demands to be taken to see “his baby” I know he knows her name but my wicked sister made him promise not to tell anyone. I even tried to get ash to get him to spill but nope not gonna spill what a little monster we have.
Ashley comes out of her room looking like the princess she is. Still wearing the necklace that Sharon gave her that has the potion in it to spike Kyle's drink. We have not had a chance to slip it to him yet and I have a feeling we are getting closer to him sending the phone. So tonight she's going to spike a drink and bring it to him. She's a smart pup I have to give it to her for thinking of that on her own. Hugging her tight tells her how beautiful she looks. She's blushing when the little monster comes in stomping his feet. “can we go I need my baby now.” he demands. We all have noticed that if the two do not see each other at least once a day they both become very grumpy. There is no sleep for any of us if he does not get to say goodnight to “his baby”. the first night after she was born had been rough on us all. Jordan was screaming and throwing a tantrum soon Kari is linking me asking me to bring him over to see if that is the problem with her little screaming bundle of no sleep. That night as I sleepily stumbled up to her room I made a note to talk to Bridget about this “my baby” stuff. I thought it was just that she was the first baby he's met but it started to look like more.
Bridget had confirmed that due to the fae blood that he carried his inner fae sensed his mate the second she took her first breath being so close to her. At this age, it's just an overwhelming need to be around each other for comfort. They won't know they are mates until they come of age but will always be drawn to each other they need to be close. So from that day on he gets up eats and then we take him to see “his baby” before he goes to pre-school for the day then after dinner, we take him to say goodnight. I told Kari what Bridget told me about them. She was happy to know that her little bundle would have a good mate.
Right now little Jordan is standing at the door tapping his foot waiting for us. Some days it's like he needs to see her more than he already does. And I get it going without seeing Noah would kill me. Noah walks out of our room looking too damn yummy I feel my eyes changing looking at him. He smirks at me and links “later” in his lusty husky voice. If I was in my wolf I would be drooling right now.
We head out with a determined Jordan pulling us along. I see the evil glint in Ashley's eyes when she starts to slow down. She fakes twisting her ankle making us stop sending Jordan in a huff. Stomping back to his sister he looks at her foot then up at her “should have worn better shoes it’s your fault suck it up to let's go meanie's head.” he yells at her. I am trying to hold my laughter in but have you seen a two-year-old with his hands made into fists jammed on his hips, leaning forward glaring at his sister. If not it's one you need to see. Turning my head I somehow kept it together enough to tell ash to stop picking on her brother. She smirks at me knowing I’m trying not to laugh.
Everyone is in the backyard where the table has been set out a small stage is in front. All the royals are sitting up at the head table. Soon as Jordan sees Kari holding a small pink bundle he relaxed a little. Just the sight of her helped him calm down, over the last couple of days he got used to seeing her first thing in the morning and today he didn’t. they were too busy getting things ready for today in his little mind he didn’t understand but I kept telling him he would see her soon. Making a note to find a way for them to be a part soon we would be moving to the green lake lands and she will be staying here. Getting to our table Leigha sits next to me and whispers in my ear “you and your sister are gonna have to mute the bond soon or it could get worse when we move.” I nod knowing shes right looking down at Jordan I don’t want to hurt them “tomorrow can I meet with you and Kari so I can tell you a safe way to do this for both of them?” shooting my eyes to hers I look for any sign this is false but all I see is truth and I nod. She nods back and then Brendon clears his throat.
“Hello everyone I’m glad you could join us as we have a few announcements to make.” he begins getting the attention of every wolf and witch along with the three fae hybrids here. “as you all know the queen and queens betas decided it would be a good idea to have the pups share a birthday.” “oh no we did not the pups decided that.” aria says causing everyone to laugh. I'm sure that was the point. “today we want to introduce the first three royal-born pups to the packs we call family. We spent the last couple of days deciding who we would introduce first and we have decided to introduce the firstborn royal beta. Kari, Zane.” holding out his hand to the beta couple as he steps back for them to step forward. “thanks king Brendon. Today we are to introduce you all to our daughter November Anne storm. “ Zane says as Kari turns the dark hair blue-eyed angle around for everyone to see. Jordan’s eyes have been following her the whole time. The wolves cheer hearing and seeing the future royal beta. This makes me look to Bridget and link “Jordan cant be your heir not when he's mated to the future royal beta.” she nods to me “I know. We will have to sit down with Ashley and see who she thinks should be her beta” I nod at her but have an idea of my own.
The cheers die down when Damien stands “now to my pups.” he says as Brendon and aria step forward each holding a green bundle. Odd I thought why the neutral color. We all know what the prophecy said. We all are just waiting to see the princes. Brendon steps forward “everyone this is Jackson Mani prince of the royal packs.” turning around to a blonde sliver-eyed boy who looks just like Brendon. “and this here is Blake stone,” aria says as she turns the baby around. A bright pink bow in his dark hair has us all confused. “princess of the royal packs.” aria beams at everyone who is now speechless. She looks like a blend of aria and Damien with blue Grey eyes and dark hair.
The whole area is silent. Then a young girl stands up and says “how? The prophecy said you would have two males. What does this mean?” panic in her voice. Lady Olivia walks up the neck to aria clearing her throat before speaking.
