Aria POV
What? how can this be Ava is saying they are both my mates. How is that possible? Alpha john said I won't have a mate let alone two. Having two is unheard of. Moon goddess I had only one request to be on my side for once. I didn’t want a mate I want to be free. I'm tired of being a slave. Tears finally spilled from my eyes “please just let me go this is my only chance.” reaching for the bag I stashed my sleeve slipped up showing a few bruises. “oh my banana pudding what happened?” the one called alpha Damien says grabbing my arm. Yanking it back I don’t answer. “if you want to get away from here you need to talk to me. I am your mate Brendon is your mate we can help I promise.” alpha Damien says to me. “how can you help me? You’re here to help the blood moon pack and I'm trying to flee this pack.” she whispers. “well let's go inside where we can not be seen and talk I'm sure we can figure something out.” Damien says as he opens the door and Brendon grabs my bag. “guess I don’t have a choice do I?” I bow my head walking into the house. Damien whispers something to Brendon who just nods and they both follow me into the house.
Walking into the guest house with these two huge males I realize how this could turn out bad for me. Lowering my head waiting for the alpha to speak. Thinking about how I acted outside I yell at myself. How could I be so stupid he's an alpha and friends with my alpha I'm so screwed. They are going to take me to him and tell him everything I said tonight, how could I be so stupid? So what if they and my wolf say we are mates I'm nobody just a slave. I know I have tears in my eyes that I'm trying to hold back as I wait.
Damien POV
Watching her walk in I can't help but look her over. I whisper in Brendon’s ear “did we just get lucky? And how is this possible?” he shrugs and links me “should I link the alpha?” I shake my head and look at her he then gets that I want to know what is going on first. “how about we start over?” I ask her. “if that is what you would like alpha.” She reply's with her head bowed making me want to growl out but seeing how she's standing I don’t want to scare her. “okay so you know our names. Can we know yours? Unless you rather be called kitten?” wiggling my eyebrows. She smirks a little telling making me smile as I'm trying to comfort her. “Aria Gealach” she whispers. “aria what a beautiful strong name.” loving the way it rolls off my tongue. “so beautiful what have you wanted to run away from?” I ask her. She lowers her head more and shakes it not saying anything. So I try again “I promise to help you in any way I can in my life.” She looks up at me seeing the truth in my eyes looking at Brendon as he nods letting her know we are serious. And so her tale of her life here in the blood moon is laid out on the table. And I am having a hard time not going and killing everyone here. So I mind linking my dad “I found my mate. But some bad bananas have happened and she needs out tonight so I'm taking her and running home. I can't leave her to hear and I can't stay. Brendon is coming with me we have a lot to talk to lady Olivia about.”
Alpha Jackson POV
After receiving the link from Damien I linked back right away “no you will not leave. If she needs out tonight she will be taken out of this pack tonight. I have a plan in the order I was just going to tell you about later when it's closer to happening. Meet me at the guest house in ten minutes.” When he tells me he is already there I'm glad this will go faster than I thought. I let Jordan know to signal Kari and Kade that it is time. They both have packed a bag with just things they can live without everything else can be replaced. We need this to look not planned as well. Kissing my mate on the forehead letting her know ill be back soon I need some air. It's my way of letting her know I'm starting the plan.
Last night Jordan told me that she overheard the blood moon kitchen staff talking about how sad it will be when Kari leaves after the ceremony and following party. The beta had them pack her things for when alpha Greene gets here. So it's now or never. Jenny tells me that she overheard the omegas tasked with cleaning the barracks and that they feel sorry for the young warrior that found his mate last month. He was beaten until he rejected his mate all because his mate was male. They do not allow such dirty perverted things here. So Alex found him still recovering and asked if he wanted to stay there. I'm hoping he wants to leave and then we can see about fixing his mate who from what was gathered rejected the rejection.
Entering the house I see a young lady sitting on the couch her cheeks tear-stained. As soon as she sees me she jumps up shaking and bowing her head. “greetings alpha” is all she says looking petrified. “please child you are safe here don’t be scared.” Just then Kari, Kade, and a young man who looks to be nothing but a bruise walk in. at this point her eyes get huge as she searches the room for a fast way out. “oh aria you are here too I'm so happy. How did they find you I heard the alpha order you to be hidden from them?” I growl out causing her to jump. “dad no growling okay? And what's going on? Who is that?” Damien asks as he gently places a hand on the girl's shoulder. “I'm sorry dear I didn’t mean to frighten you I just don’t like the look of what was done to that young man. What are your names?” I ask. “my name is charlie hail alpha.” The young warrior whispers and Brendon says “this is Aria Gealach” as he places his hand on her waist. Something is going on there but we don’t have time to figure it out.
Looking at everyone I see my best warrior Sam walk in. I had made it clear he was down with locked in his room for the night due to his mate going into heat and them being so far put him in a rut. So had to be locked in his room for the night while our medical center back home helped his mate with her heat. Normally a heat lasts 3 days but when one of the pairs is too far to help we have herbs that break the heat in 24 hours. Sam being my only mated warrior at the time helped with my plan.
“Okay, so we are all here to help these four wolves off this territory and back to ours. All for safety and healing. Yesterday I called my sister Luna Morgan McCall and her mate alpha Cian McCall of the starlight pack just east of here. I told them I needed their help with a rescue. Once I told them where we were and that I needed to save my son's gamma and deltas mates. They were happy to help. Looked around to room to make sure they are all following along. “the plan is for same to take Kari, Kade, aria, and charlie to the border where my nephew is hidden with his mate. Once there she will mask your scents and they will take you four to a motel halfway to my territory. At that point, you will meet with my gamma Jordan Lewis. She is a short blonde with a scar running down her cheek. Don’t be fooled by her size she a gamma for a reason.” Pausing to make sure we are all still on board. Looking around all I see are nods and a smirking Damien. “at that point gamma Jordan will take you to our pack where you will be seen by my medical staff. And you will be given rooms. My gamma and delta have been authorized to take you all shopping for anything you need don’t hesitate to ask. Once we are don’t here we will be back and we then can go over your plans for the future. But for now, just stay there where it is safe and heal please.” I finish my plan looking at the clock and then at the same. Looking around I ask “are there any questions?” “what do we have to do to pay for this?” aria asks my head shooting to my son who looks murderous he says “nothing you all owe nothing you should never have to pay for your freedom. And as my mate you will be treated with the respect of the future Luna that you are.” There are several gasps from around the room when they all look at her bowing their heads in respect. She turns a bright red stumbling over her words “p..pl..pull..please don’t dd..ddd..ddo that.”
Sam looks at the clock and then at me letting me know it's time. “alright pups it's time. Damien and Brendon get to the party and make themselves seen. Jordan jenny and Alex you do the same. Kari, Kade, aria, and charlie be fast and true let the moon guide you. By this time tomorrow, you will be safely hidden in my pack. Sam be fast and don’t be seen. Tell Sean I expect them all for supper in the next few months.” Nodding and bowing his head he made his way to the door. Aria looked at Damien and then Brendon they both hugged her and she followed Sam with the rest following. As soon as we are alone again we need to talk about what that was about.
