Why did I agree to come to this stupid school? The packs that build and run it are the ones responsible for the death of my mother. Then I have to share a room with one of those wolves I don’t think I can do this. Storming out of the room to get the mistress of the magical beings but only found the dean of duel natured. And to top that he wouldn't give me a different room or send her to the mutt dorm. At least I will have my cousin here with me. Chad has been like a big brother since my mother was killed by that worthless slave she made. When I found out that the thing was magic-less I called my mother wanting to mated to Kane. My mother promised me that I could be presented to Kane and if he choose me then I would be his mate. But no the slave ran to the new mutt queen for help. That alpha what was his name umm Williams? No. Umm, let me think stone? No, no stupid that's one of the mutt queens' toys. Dang, it punching the ground under me. Oh ya, sparks. He killed Kane. Those mutts killed my mother. And that slave is the only way I can fix this.
She's too protected to get to so I agree to come to this place play nice and try for a job in the shadow pack to get close to her. I just need her blood and who cares if I need it all she is worthless. I wouldn't have to kill her if she was full fae but no she’s only half making her litter of mutts even less fae. Once I can get close to the slave I will have everything I need to fix what they broke.
Standing I see chad and rush to him. “chad do you know what they did to me?” he looks at me waiting for me to answer “they are making me share a room with one of those mutts.” I whine out. The anger that fills his face tells me he hates them just as much. “what one?” he sneered out. there is a crackle around him as he stares at me “assley something or other she takes the whole nerd girl thing in high gear too. She has a weird stone figure of a dragon she acts like it’s alive. Gave it a name and everything told me to never touch it. She has some spell on it or something I couldn’t touch it.” I can see the anger in the air around him as I talk. “show me.” he spits out at me. Shocked and a little scared of chad for a second I just turn and head back to my dorm room. Making it to the room shes still gone so I head for her bed where the thing was. “well?” he asks looking around shrugging “it was on her pillow.” walking to her desk to snoop through her things. If I have to live with it I am gonna need a way to control her.
That weird stone dragon is gonna be my best bet to cast a puppet spell on her. She seems very attached to it. Searching through her things I hear him flop down on her bed. Did he make a sighing sound? No, it's probably a groan due to laying down. The door opens and she walks in “excuse me? What are you doing?” turning to glare at her “since that dean wouldn't do anything and I couldn’t get a hold of daddy I went to my mentor and upper-class men chad to help me.” I sneered at her. She looks at chad her face changes a little but I can't read it. Storming over she grabs his arm yanking him to the door. Throwing him out she whispers something to him before slamming the door in his face. Before I can say anything she was in front of me her eyes swirling silver, gold, and blue. Her skin starts to glow. I can't focus on her words but I know I have to agree. I can't do anything other than agree. Just as fast as it came it was gone. What was that? I can't feel any magic in her now but for a second there was magic all around her. What is she? I just stand there saying nothing just staring at her. She takes her clothes and leaves. Five minutes later I decide the only way find out her secrets is to pretend to get along. Heading down to the laundry room where I know she will be. The room fills with static she's on fire she's screaming in silence. Thunder crashes overhead and hail starts pouring down.
A spark hit me causing me to yelp slightly just as she looks over a ball of light closes around her as a blurry form wraps around her. The room was still full of static making my hair float. It lasted a few seconds before its just assley sitting on the floor. She doesn't say anything or acknowledges I am there. After a few minutes, I turn and run back to my room. I need to call my father and ask him about a few things. Maybe I just got lucky and I can fix things sooner than I thought. Stop it don’t get your hopes up to soon. Call father asks him ways to detect fae blood and its strength of it. For what I need I need more than just a lot of fae blood I need a lot of strong fae blood.
Making it to my room I throw open the door slamming it behind me once through. Grabbing my phone off my bed I call my father. When he picks up I skip the pleasantry and go straight to it “dad how do you detect fae blood and the strength of it?” “why pumpkin?” rolling my eyes “just tell me dad please?” it's silent for a few minutes before he starts telling me what he found.
