Heading to the office with everyone. Sharon grabs my hand pulling me back looking down at her she says “Ashley she's special and will be powerful. She could be helpful with this.” stopping me at what she said. I know ash is special bridge told us so, but how could she help. “could you have her come to the office as well.” staring at her I was trying to figure out if she is being real or not. I see Luna Bronwyn nod her head. Looking over to Brendon and he shrugs. “does it have to be her?” I ask almost in a panic. We have all seen the damage that has been done by this wolf why do they want to bring ash into this? I feel my chest tighten at the thought of her getting hurt. Noah's voice fills my head asking if I am alright no dought feeling my pain. Letting him know everything is fine and if he could bring ash to the packhouse.
We are all waiting in the office. I am pacing back and forth with thoughts of my girl hurt and I don’t know if I could let her do something that could get her hurt. “as you all know we have a rare opportunity with the spy in the cells. I and Sharon combined sleeping spells so he will only wake when we want him to.” Sharon nods to both Isaac and Anthony holding her hands keeping her close. “so my thoughts are to first cast an honest and a forget spell on him. Both me and Sharon casting them the combined magic would confuse other witches as to what spell to break first to unwind them. So we get him to tell us everything but he forgets he said anything as soon as he finishes saying it. Once we have all the information out of him we release him with a second forget spell that erases the time in the cells. We take him back to the front of the house with those who came with him dressed the same so he thinks he just got here. Let him do his spying.” looking around the room as I tell them what I think we should do. I see they all agree so far but I don’t know how far that will go with this next part.
“as we are all aware Ashley is special.” Daniel starts to open his mouth but I hold my hand up asking him to wait till I am finished. I can see the worry in his eyes for his daughter but I would never let anything happen to her. “I know you worried but trust me. We don’t need her to do much other than being seen by him and have him overhear how she's going to be powerful one day.” as soon as the words are out of my mouth Daniel's eyes go wide in understanding. She's a sort of bait but never in the actual path.
“so dangle her power in front of a power-hungry monster to wet his nose so he will act reckless and bring him here sooner,” he says. He gets up and paces around the room then turns to me “how do we do that without revealing she's part fae?” he demands and I know right away his biggest fear. Her blood is powerful and if a blood-magic witch was to get their hands on it that would be trouble. “we never say how she's special or what will make her powerful. Other than the things that are already known like she is an alpha heir, and a strong warrior already. Letting him close enough to feel her aura. “will it give us an advantage if I do this?” Ashley's small but strong voice breaks the silence. Looking at everyone I nod “this could cause him to only become short-sighted. We all look at her in questioning she shrugs “I don’t really know more than that he let it slip once when he was drunk that his brother stole the pack from him and he would get it back.” Sharon tells us all.
This had me thinking that this now made more sense but who is his mother and father so I asked “who is his mother and father?” “I don’t know who his bio mother is my aunt misty raised him with his father Jerry that's all I know?” looking over to Ashley I ask her if Abel had a brother that she knows of shaking her head she tells us that he didn’t and his father was killed in a rogue attack when he was seven and his mother disappeared thought dead not long after.
