Unknown pov
I watched them walk up the stairs heading to the alpha's office. Who is that bitch? Why is she with Damien? Though how she handled melody was funny I wanted to laugh at that girl don’t know when to stop. If Damien had taken her up on even one of her advances I would have had to kill her cause he is mine. He will be mine I just need to get him alone now that he is 18. I slowly follow them upstairs to the alpha's office hiding my scent staying hidden. Once the door was shut I listened in on their meeting I needed information.
I wonder what that alpha would give me if he knew where his missing people are. Would he give me Damien hmmm I bet he would and with my potion almost done he will see me as his mate soon. Time to make a call.
Damien pov
It's been a week since the meeting with my father and things are starting to come together. Aria is spending a lot of time with lady Olivia leaving Brendon frustrated. We want to complete the mating and marking but we want to do it together with her. We are waiting for her to be ready to either accept us or reject us. This being in limbo is killing us. We have spent time together and she seems to want us but is also cautious of us it's madding.
The alarms go off and warriors on patrol are linking that there is an army of wolves approaching. Rushing to the border father links everyone to be prepared and get to their stations this is not a drill. Reminding me of when messages played during morning cartoons. Glance to my right o sees Brendon dip his head a bit knowing he's thinking the same thing. We reach the border I see alpha Anderson alpha Greene their betas and warriors I link everyone “hide aria kade Kari and same now alpha Anderson and alpha Greene are here.” Growls are heard through the link. Once father arrives he shifts “alpha Anderson alpha Greene how can I help you?” he asks while the rest of us spread out making sure our border is covered completely. “we know our four missing wolves are here hand them over and we will walk away.” Alpha Anderson says. “I have no one that’s in your pack here I believe you are mistaken,” Father says, and in a way, he's right since they all now belong to the shadow pack.
“You have taken what is mine and I want her back now you can keep the males they mean nothing to me.” Alpha Anderson says. Alpha Greene growls “ give me the girl she is mine.” Dad being my dad, just stares at them “I don’t remember taking anything that belonged to either of you.” Tapping his chin. I want to laugh but know this is not the time or place. “if you don’t give me my mate I will kill you all.” Alpha Greene yells. Then all of a sudden beta winter growls out and I hear him mumble “mate ya right.” As he glares at alpha Greene. Alpha Anderson not noticing “I want aria Gealach now bring her to me.” Dad looks around “does anyone know an aria Gealach?” he asks as one we all shake our heads “I’m sorry alpha but seems no one here knows who that is.” Dad says in a tone I know very well. It's his go-ahead and questions my tone.
“you have my mate give her to me now!” alpha Greene yells. When Kari all of a sudden comes forward. Standing tall in a tank and shorts her mark stands out on her pale skin. “what have you done to my mate? Who forced themselves on my mate? Step up now.” Aloha Greene yells before anyone can say anything beta Winters growls out “mate ha she was never your mate. You rejected your mate. What was it that was said oh ya you can't be my mate you’re the wrong sort then stormed to the alpha's office.” Looking to his sister “just to have the alpha come and tell us Kari is to be mated to alpha Greene.” Shaking his head. “I’m so sorry Kari forgive me for not protecting you.” He steps away from alpha Anderson like he's looking for space looking back at my father and then to the alphas “I Daniel Ellis winters accept your rejection.” Dropping to the ground both beta winter and alpha Greene is howling in pain.
Alpha Greene panting out “I never rejected you. you can't reject me I won't let you and ill have your sister Sneering she is my promised mate. I will not allow you to find another you are mine” he roars when all of a sudden alpha Anderson sneers “what the actual hell dude you know the rules you are not some fairy ass licker, my beta is not a fag” he kicks beta winters in the ribs over and over likes he's trying to beat the gay out of him. Beta winters did, nothing to protect himself. Alpha Greene just watches but makes no move to stop it. “I was gonna share aria with you and let you have her as well because you hadn't found your mate yet. You stupid ass. Not anymore she's all mine. No one else will touch my slave but me.” The more he beats on his beta the more he talks father motions to make sure the border cameras are trained on him and picking up every word this low life is saying. “are you gay or are you my beta?” he says grabbing Daniels hair lifting his head but Daniel is out cold. at the half-dead wolf “guess he was too weak to be my beta” kicking him away. We all watch as Daniel fly's through the air landing just outside the border. The rest of blood moon and gee lake pack shift and prepare to attack. I link Kari “when the fighting starts grab your brother go to the packhouse take him to Dr snow right away.” I see her nod as she slowly makes her way to her brother.
With one last growl alpha, Greene's muddy brown wolf leaps at my father.
