Chapter 103

Jovita wondered how the rest of her life would be on the arm of Torvald and reminded herself that he was not a monster all the time.

FLASHBACK

Once the door was shut, King Torvald pressed his lips onto Princess Jovita’s. Princess Jovita felt appalled and wanted it at the same time.

“I can smell you; you are ready to receive my child, my little wolf,” King Torvald said, gathering the nightdress, and pulling it to her waistline.

Princess Jovita wanted to push him off her but at the same time, she wanted him. ‘Why do I feel I love this man but at the same time I hate him?’

Conflicted, she wrapped her arms around him and allowed him to touch her body. King Torvald kissed her and gently explored her body, unlike the violent way he treated her at the compound. He stopped for a moment and sped over to his bedroom door and locked it.

On his way back to his bed, he took his clothes off. “I will make love to you, my little wolf,” he said, smiling, knowing she does not remember what he did to her before.

Princess Jovita was surprised when his manhood entered her, and it didn’t hurt. ‘I always thought my first time will hurt,’ she thought as she wrapped her legs around him.

King Torvald made sweet love to her and when he felt her clawing at his back and heard her moaning for more, he made his strokes harder and deeper. ‘Guess her womanhood has been ruined and well prepared to be f*cked hard,’ he thought with an evil smile, going at it harder.

Princess Jovita felt herself climax and felt for King Torvald’s head, plaiting her fingers into his hair, pulling his head closer so that she could kiss the man that has made her feel such wonderful things.

King Torvald made love to her a couple more times and even allowed her to take the lead and be on top. Exhausted, she fell asleep in his arms.

END OF FLASHBACK

Juno did not find a way out of the mess by looking at the past, but looking at the past for answers did give him an idea.

“Kill Juno and I will let Jessica go,” Torvald said and put a knife into Jovita’s hand.

“You will have to compel me because I will not do it willingly,” Jovita said, tears in her eyes.

“So, you choose him over your own child?” Torvald questioned. “I will rape her over and over every single day for the rest of her life and, being a lycan we both know that can be a very, very long time.”

“I have a better deal for you,” Juno said.

“I have all I want, right here,” Torvald chuckled.

“A child. An adult son, to be more specific,” Juno said.

“What are you talking about?” Torvald questioned, already letting his guard down.

“Lauturi left two letters. One for Deacon and one for me,” Juno started.

“Speak already. I don’t have all night,” Toravald hissed.

“You have an adult son. Your former enchantress left you offspring,” Juno lied.

“Liar!” Torvald spat.

Juno held out his palm to Torvald so that he could drink his blood and see it for himself. “Lauturi betrayed you for killing Lestat.”

“Why you? Why would she leave such information with you?” Torvald questioned.

“Because she knew I would need it. She obviously knew your plans for Jovita,” Juno said and folded his arms over his chest, relieved that Torvald didn’t call his bluff.

“Where do I find him?” Torvald asked, letting go of Jovita.

“Let Jessica and Jovita go, and I will show you the contents of the letter,” Juno said.

“I will just drink your blood,” Tovald sped over to Juno and snaked his teeth into his neck, searching but coming up empty.

“You are lying!” Torvald said, leaving the blood to run from Juno’s neck. Juno grabbed his neck to stop the blood from flowing.

Jovita cried, knowing Juno was lying and sacrificing himself to set Jessica and her free.

“You know I have a protective spell over my mind, and you will only see it when I want you to see it,” Juno said, not sure he knew where he was going with it.

“If you are lying, I will kill you and your brat,” Torvald threatened.

“I am not lying,” Juno said, convincing Torvald.

“Get Jessica and leave,” Torvald compelled Jovita.

Jovita wanted to stay and help Juno, but at the same time, she knew she had to help Jessica first. She ran to the bedroom and wrapped a bedsheet around her. “Shift and follow me,” Jovita cried out to Jessica.

“I am too tired,” Jesscia said, unable to shift.

Jovita grabbed another bed sheet and wrapped it around Jessica before supporting her and walking her out of the house. She gave one more look at Juno, knowing it will be the last time she saw him.

The moment they stepped out of the house, Jessica was able to mind link Deacon.

‘Torvald let us go but not my father,’ Jessica mind linked Deacon, who was on his way to leave.

Ondrink saw the two women walking out of the house from where he was standing and rushed over to help them to safety.

“Shysie, Michael. What are you doing here?” Deacon said, about to turn back to where he left Ondrink.

“I know this house and as you know, I used to be his right-hand lady when he was king,” Shysie said.

“Take me to Ondrink. He is a few miles towards the house,” Deacon demanded of Michael.

Michael picked him up and sped over. Deacon grabbed Jessica, crying.

“Get them out of here,” Deacon told Michael and Shysie, wanting to get them far away from Torvald.

“No. He is going to kill Juno. Juno lied to him. Saying he has offspring which he doesn’t,” Jovita cried.

“You don’t have a choice. Don’t let Juno die in vain,” Deacon said and signaled with his eyes for Michael and Wynn to take the two women to the higher council. “Don’t let them out of your sight.”

“Shysie, how do I get in?” Deacon directed his attention to Shysie.

“You don’t but I will trap Torvald. I will go in and set the family free from their compelling and let them uninvite him,” Shysie said and sped over to the house before anyone could object to her plan, thinking she can get what she wanted without betraying Torvald, since he can still escape.

Juno was good at hiding his fear filled with relief that Jessica and Jovita stood a chance he was more than willing to sacrifice himself. He held out his palm, not wanting Torvald near his neck. Torvald was about to sink his teeth into Juno when Shysie sped into the house.

“Shysie? What are you doing here?” Torvald retracted his teeth.

“I came to warn you,” Shysie lied. “Deacon and his army left but not the shamans,” Shysie said. “Why did you let Jessica and Jovita go?” Shysie questioned, wondering how she was going to get Torvald away from the family so that she can use the shaman necklace to set them free from his compelling so that they can uninvited him.

“Apparently I have a son,” Torvald said.

“Take him to the room, I will watch the front door,” Shysie said, hoping Torvald will fall for her plan.

Torvald ignored her and sunk his teeth into Juno. With Torvald distracted Shysie removed the compelling only from the man of the house already knowing that he owed the deeds to the house.

Even though the house did not have a shaman invitation spell on when Torvald took it over, the shamans and shaminkas already placed the spell while waiting for the next order from Deacon. Ondrink was busy placing another spell a meter away from the invitation spell, one that will trap Torvald.
