Chapter 149

Instead of taking Princess Freda to Prince Ra’s room, she took her to her own room. “I see he is not here yet, but make yourself comfortable. I am sure he will be here shortly.”

Nura closed the door behind her, locking Princess Freda inside before walking over to Prince Ra’s room.

“I regret to inform you that Freda had no interest in coming to your room,” Nura said, walking into Prince Ra’s room, and closing the door.

“Then I will go to her,” Prince Ra stood up.

“If I can give advice from a woman, let her come on her own terms. It will be much more rewarding,” Nura said, putting palms on his bare chest; Prince Ra wearing only a haram pants and an open dress shirt.

Prince Ra swept Nura up and took her to his bed and while he made love to her, he mind links princess Freda so that she could feel his pleasure and hear Nura’s screams filled with pleasure.

After half an hour of her mind being r*ped by the screams and sight of Nura, Princess Freda finally managed to block prince Ra out. ‘Why is he doing this to me? Why did he bring me here if he was just going to torture me?’ Princess Freda stood up from the bed and tried to leave, tears running down her face.

‘Why lock me up?’ Princess Freda thought furious, rattling the door handle.

Princess Freda looked over at the window. ‘I hope I can get out of the window,’ Princess Freda thought, not wanting to be in a room that she believed belonged to prince Ra.

Princess Freda opened the window and has a look aside, fire torches against the walls, lighting the pathways beneath.

‘I should be able to reach the ground safely by tying a few sheets together,’ Princess Freda thought as she walked back to the bed.

“He is going to be so mad when he gets back to his room to find all his sheets ruined into knots,” Princess Freda chuckled as she got to work; tieing the sheets.

Princess Freda tied one end to the leg of the bed, hoping that the bed was heavy enough to support her. Princess Freda let the rest of the tied sheets hang out of the window, unaware that she was being watched by the guards. One of the guards quickly ran to Prince Ra’s room to let him know that she was trying to escape.

“How is that possible?” Prince Ra asked furiously, following the guard, wondering why Zuberi’s compelling was not working.

Just as Princess Freda lowered herself beyond the window, unaware that being a vampire she could have just jumped out, Nura got back to her room.

“What on earth?” Nura asked, looking at the tied sheets. Nura saw that it was pulled stiff. ‘she must still be on her way down; but why? She is a vampire. Why didn’t she just jump out of the window?’ Nura wondered as she started to undo one of the knots.

‘I wonder if vampires can feel pain,’ Nura thought with an evil grin on her face as she let go of the sheets.

“Where do you think you are going?” Prince Ra asked when Princess Freda fell into his arms.

“What is it to you?” Princess Freda banged him on his chest.

Prince Ra walked with her in his arms, back into his palace.

“Put me down,” Princess Freda protested.

“Why were you climbing down? Why not just jump down?” Prince Ra asked, ignoring her protest.

“And break a leg?” Princess Freda asked.

“Don’t you know anything about what you are and your capabilities?” Prince Ra asked, speeding up to her room in the tower.

“Why keep me in the tower?” Princess Freda asked when he put her down on her bed.

“Because jumping out of this window will, in fact, break a leg,” Prince Ra said with a grin.

“Why did you bring me here only to do what you did this evening?” Princess Freda asked, a stubborn look on her face.

“Why did you block me from your mind?” Prince Ra asked, ignoring her question.

“Since you refuse to answer my question, I won't answer yours,” Princess Freda hissed.

Prince Ra bend down to her level and took her chin. “Then I will just compel you.”

“Compel me then, because that is the only way you will ever have my love,” Princess Freda said coldly, not losing his eyes.

“Have it your way,” Prince Ra said, letting go of her chin and walked over to the door.

“You have everything you need in this room. Your food will be brought to you. Don’t leave this room,” Prince Ra said, before leaving.

‘How does he even compel me? How can a vampire compel another?’ Princess Freda wondered before bursting into tears.

Prince Ra furious with himself for thinking that it would be an easy process, sped off to his room to be alone.

The next morning Princess Freda decided that she will go on a hunger strike only no breakfast was delivered.

Prince Ra joined his wives and mother for breakfast, but he was not in the mood for food and ordered Nura over so that he could drink from her.

Zuberi dropped her fork in anger at the idea of Prince Ra about to feed on Nura.

“Why don’t you have your meals alone, then, if it upset you so much?” Prince Ra asked, anger in his voice.

“I think I will,” Zuberi said and stood up and left.

“Now, where was I,” Prince Ra said before sinking his teeth into Nura, seeing what she has been up to last night while drinking her blood.

Filled with anger, he drank more and more, thinking he will drink her to death to set an example to his other wives.

“Prince Ra, husband, you are going to kill her if you don’t stop,” Sanura warned in a gentle voice.

Prince Ra lifted his mouth from an unconscious Nura’s neck. “Let it be a warning for any one of you that will dare to cross me again or cause princess Freda to be unhappy,” he said before sinking his teeth into her neck again.

Panva placed her hand over her mouth as a fear-filled sound escaped her lips, tears rolling down her face when Prince Ra let go of Nura, her lifeless body falling over.

Zhara stood up when prince Ra stood up, and with a shaking hand wiped down his mouth.

Prince Ra grabbed her hand. “You don’t ever have to fear me unless you have done something against me as Nura has.”

He drew her head closer with his other hand and gave her a gentle, soft kiss on her lips.

“No one is to visit Princess Freda,” Prince Ra said before leaving.

Once prince Ra left, the servants removed Nura’s body, some of the wives cried.

Zuberi walked in as they carried Nura past her. ‘What a disappointment my son is,’ she thought to herself.

“What did she do wrong? She was always his favorite,” Panva asked, crying.

“I saw her going to his room last night instead of princess Freda, so my guess is that it has something to do with Princess Freda,” Zuberi said.

“He killed his favorite for her?” Zhara asked, confused.

“Let us be careful not to question Prince Ra’s actions,” Zuberi warned.

Midday Princess Freda eagerly waited for her bedroom door to open, going crazy with loneliness, but again no one came. She got up from her bed several times, walking over to her bedroom door to speak to the guards outside, but then every time when she reached the door, she changed her mind ‘I cannot cave.’

With nothing better to do, Princess Freda finally let her mind wander off. ‘I wonder if Emily is ok? Is my father managing with her? Does he even know that I am gone?’ she thought, sitting on the windowsill, looking out, the afternoon sun beating down on her fair skin.

Trying to distract herself, she phased up and down the room before pouring herself a lukewarm bath to rinse the heat from the hot day off her, not being used to such warm weather. After her bath, princess Freda dressed in just a nightgown, having trouble putting on the Egyptian attire.

Three days went by with Princess Freda not getting any visitors or food. ‘Did something happen? Did they forget about me?’ she thought, restless.

Princess Freda finally caved and opened her bedroom door, finding only one guard.

“I am hungry,” she said, but the guard did not respond.

Princess Freda saw the vein in his neck pulsing and could smell that he was just human. ‘No, I cannot drink blood,’ she thought, shutting her door, leaning against it. She heard his heartbeat, her senses all heightened, her fangs pushing through her gums.
