Chapter 198
Prince Deacon looked at prince Mano on the ground and then back at the enchantress but before he could say anything Wynn pulled up in his car.
“Wynn, get out of her,” Prince Deacon warned him, fearing that Avery will kill him.
Avery knew Wynn, they have spent plenty of time together, keeping their distance from each other. Avery grew up thinking Wynn was his father that can not touch him. When Avery was old enough to understand he saw Wynn as an older brother.
“Avery? Long time no see,” Wynn looked at Avery, covered in ash as he just killed the hybrid.
“Stop me! Stop me now!” Avery pleaded, knowing that Kezia can spell him to stop.
“If you want to save your friend you need to let me go,” Kezia said, her hands on prince Deacon’s hands that was still around her throat.
“Stop me!” Avery screamed out in anger as he tried to fight every part of him, walking over to Wynn.
Prince Deacon lets go of Kezia and she immediately tried to throw a spell at Avery but her strength was depleted.
“Avery, run home as fast as you can,” Kezia demanded, remembering the obedient spell she has placed over Avery when she first got him.
Avery started to run, without looking back.
“What the hell is going on here?” Wynn asked, walking a wide circle around Kezia, recognizing her as a Romani Enchantress.
Kezia tried to retreat, hoping that the two friends will be too distracted since all the she-wolves are distracted by the she-wolves that have been knocked out by a spell.
“Mano?” Wynn recognized prince Mano, still passed out.
“Where do you think you are going?” Prince Deacon grabbed Kezia by the arm and shoved her down next to prince Mano.
“I don’t have enough strength,” Kezia said.
“Don’t let her out of your sight,” Prince Deacon said, walking into the cabin.
Wynn stood over Kezia, “Why is Avery under your control?”
“King Thorvald gave him to me as payment,” Kezia said.
“Payment for what?” Prince Deacon asked, walking out of the house with two chairs for Wynn and himself to sit on.
“For spelling the hunters to be in love with each other so that they can reproduce naturally,” Kezia told them the truth.
“Oh, is that how he did it,” Prince Deacon said.
“Why Avery?” Wynn asked.
“I chose him. Thought he will make handsome kids,” Kezia said, telling the truth.
“Why is it that enchantresses are always trying to get pregnant with the supernatural?” Wynn laughed.
“Well, why not?” Kezia challenged.
“The supernatural world doesn’t like you so you try to create your own supernatural to love you,” Prince Deacon said, folding his arms across his chest, keeping his eyes on her.
“Nothing to say?” Wynn asked but she does not respond.
“I have enough strength to lift the spell from his mind,” the enchantress said.
“Then what are you waiting for?” Prince Deacon asked.
“If I do this, will you let me go?” Kezia asked.
“You are not in a position to bargain,” Prince Deacon said laughing.
“In exchange for Avery you can have your freedom,” Wynn said.
“No,” Kezia protested.
“Instead of healing his mind, take away his memories of the past two decades,” Prince Deacon said, thinking perhaps prince Mano was better off not remembering his heartache.
“What? What are you talking about? He has no memory?” Wynn asked.
“Whole childhood and everything before he fell into her hands,” Prince Deacon said.
“And now you want her to take the rest as well?” Wynn objected.
“You see the ash on him and on me?'' Prince Deacon looked at his clothes which were still covered with Gina’s ash.
“Avery killed a hybrid or vampire?” Wynn asked.
“Some sort of vampire. Do you remember princess Claire?” Prince Deacon asked.
“I thought she died eighteen years ago. The convent sent her fucking kid right back to the council,” Wynn said, angry.
“You are looking at the ash of her daughter. Prince Mano managed to get himself a wife again,” Prince Deacon said.
Wynn stood up and walked over to prince Mano, wiping some of the ash off his face before rubbing his fingers against each other, ‘So much for helping princess Claire escape this life. If only I knew where Gina was being kept.’ Wynn thought, standing up again.
“I want Avery if you want to keep your life. Even if we let you go if we tell king Thorvald that you killed his daughter he will end you,” Wynn said.
Kezia thought for a bit, “Fine, but know this, if you trick me, Avery has a demanding spell to avenge my death.”
“I think prince Mano should have his memories,” Wynn said.
“I don’t,” Prince Deacon said, standing up and walking over to where prince Mano was lying.
“How is he going to learn from his mistakes if he has no memories,” Wynn pleaded.
“I don’t think he will be able to cope with the loss of Gina,” Prince Deacon said before signaling Kezia to get started.
“Don’t make it permanent,” Wynn said before walking towards his car.
“Where are you going?” Prince Deacon asked.
“Back to the castle,” Wynn said opening the car door.
“Why not stay a bit? Enjoy the ladies,” Prince Deacon suggested.
“Perhaps another time,” Wynn said, looking at some of the she-wolves.
“Don’t forget to return Avery to the castle,” Wynn warned before getting into his car and driving off.
Just before sundown, Wynn arrived back at the castle and immediately knew something was up, he caught the scent of the royal brothers, ‘Have they been summoned back?’
Before he could make his way over to the lycan wing, he got intercepted by one of king Thorvald’s hybrids, “King Thorvalds wants to see you.”
“On my way,” Wynn said before going to the vampire throne room, knowing he wants a status update on whether he found his daughter or not.
“Good evening,” Wynn said, walking up to the throne where king Thorvald was sitting with an intoxicated human on his lap, her beautiful naked body, draped over him like a mantel.
“And?’ King Thorvald asked.
“All I found was a pile of ash, untouched in one of the rooms of the convent, a room that has been sealed off,” Wynn lied.
“A vampire must have had something to do with it. The room has no drapes covering the large windows. My guess is a vampire went off its head,” Wynn said.
Judging by king Thorvald’s face, Wynn realized that king Thorvald knew exactly what his daughter was.
“The royal brothers are back, besides prince Deacon and prince Mano of course. Princess Anse is not with her father, find out why,” King Thorvald ordered Wynn, wondering why sunlight killed his daughter since she was born a vampire, ‘Something does not add up.’
Wynn turned and walked out, going directly to the lycan throne room.

“Welcome back,” he said upon entering and he was greeted with smiles and embraces. “No wives?” he asked, noticing no new faces amongst the women standing around.
“Vasili over here lost his daughter,” Prince Bleidd informed him.
“I didn’t lose her, she ran away,” Prince Vasili defended himself.
“With a human,” Prince Kurt said.
“Wynn, will you be willing to search for her during the night?” Queen Lana asked.
Wynn kept silent, thinking that princess Anse was better off.
“Wynn?” King Makens's voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
“Of course,” Wynn lied.
“Any contact from prince Deacon?” Queen Lana asked hopefully.
“None your majesty,” Wynn said.
“We have to have a meeting with king Thorvald, it is time to bring in new royal blood descendants,” Queen Lana said.
“I agree, starting by filling your belly with one,” King Makens snorted.
“I thought we agreed we are going the natural way,” Queen Lana said, dismissing everyone with her hand.
“So did I, but since it is clear that you are doing something not to fall pregnant you have broken the agreement,” King Makens said, standing off his throne and walking away before he said something he will regret.
Alone with prince Vasili, Wynn could not help but ask about princess Anse, “Did she really run away?”
“You know my parents have full access to my mind, there is no way to hide the truth from them,” Prince Vasili said truthfully.

Princess Anse’s eighteenth birthday.
“You know you can get locked up for indecent actions,” Princess Anse heard a male voice.
Princess Anse’s full nakedness was on display in the light of the full moon. She clapped her hands over her breast and crossed her legs over.
“What are you doing?” a young man in his early twenties asked, picking up the nightgown and holding it out to her.
“None of your business,” Princess Anse said, grabbing the nightgown and slipping it on with her back turned to him.
“Where are your bodyguards?” he asked, looking around, recognizing her as the girl that was always surrounded by a few people.
