Chapter 64
“A while and, as you already know, he is a great lover,” Katelina said with a smile.
“We didn’t have sex,” Ann blushed.
“You are missing out,” Katelina said, and turned off her night light.
“I will go check where Jessica is,” Ann said and got out of bed.
Ann found Jessica outside the dormers, sitting on the steps.
“Why are you so angry?” Ann questioned.
“Oh, hey,” Jessica said. “This year is not starting how I imagined. Please tell me you are not considering dating that guy.”
“What if I am? I hear he is good in bed. We are here to learn, so why not learn and discover ourselves? Why limit ourselves to just one guy? Or girl,” Ann chuckled.
“Any guy but him. He has so many girlfriends,” Jessica snorted.
“Word spreads fast, I guess,” Ann laughed.
“No, Kat told me about her boyfriend and his many girlfriends. Apparently, that Soroya girl is one of them,” Jessica added.
“Really? But earlier she made it sound as if she and Paris are back together,” Ann shared, and felt something was not quite right.
“Ask Kat if you don’t believe me,” Jessica said and stood up. “Let’s get into bed,” Jessica said and held her hand out to Ann. “Can’t start the year tired in class.”
“This year will be full of adventure. You will see,” Ann chuckled.
“Trust me, I believe you one hundred percent,” Jessica laughed as they walked arm in arm back to their room.
The next day on their way to class, Michael threw his arm around Ann. “Good morning, beautiful,” Michael said and dropped a kiss on Ann’s head, making Jessica roll her eyes.
“Good morning, friend of Ann,” Michael chuckled.
“Good morning yourself,” Jessica snorted and walked slower to put distance between them.
“Her name is Jessica,” Ann told Michael.
“I know,” Michael chuckled.
“Won't your other girlfriends mind you spending time with a new girl?” Ann asked when she noticed a few girls’ eyes on her when they walked into their first class for the day.
“Do you really care if they mind?” Michael laughed. “Right now, I am all about winning your heart,” Michael assured Ann and showed her to her chair.
“Actually, I sit with Jessica. One thing you should know about me is that class time is class time, and I am focused on my studies,” Ann told him off, but Michael grabbed her by her arm.
“Today you are sitting next to me, and your focus is on me,” Michael compelled her.
Michael’s actions didn’t go unnoticed by Jessica. Jessica made sure Michael knew she saw what he just did.
Michael gave Jessica a challenging smile that clarified that he was not scared of her.
Jessica rolled her eyes and turned her head to the front of the room.
“I will sit only this once with you,” Ann said under Michael’s compelling and took a seat.
“You won't regret it,” Michael said, and sat next to her.
They were not even seated for a minute and Michael had his hand up her skirt.
“Stop, don’t,” Ann chuckled, even though she liked it.
“Shh, just enjoy it,” Michael compelled her again and rubbed her womanhood until her j-string was wet.
The whole time, Katelina’s eyes were on them and she did her very best not to get angry and hid her jealousy. Michael knew Katelina was watching them, and he also knew she was the most possessive of all his former wives.
Michael left Ann mid climax, flushed and shameful, behind in class.
“Had fun in class?” Jessica asked when she reached the table where Ann was still sitting, gathering her wits.
“Nothing you haven’t done,” Ann said sarcastically and got up from her chair, adjusting her clothes.
“Not in class,” Jessica defended her high school behavior.
“I like him. It feels dangerous,” Ann smiled and collected her books, dumping them into her tote bag.
“I just never took you as the sharing type, especially a boyfriend,” Jessica said as they made their way out of the class.
“I am just using him to get back at Paris,” Ann whispered when they got out of the class and watched Michael talking to Soroya, touching her face.
“But I am not willing to share a boyfriend with her,” Ann said and stubbornly stomped past Michael.
‘If she is only using him, then maybe I have nothing to worry about,’ Jessica thought and up her walking speed to catch up with Ann.
“I thought today is my day,” Katelina pouted, standing next to Soroya.
“It is, well was. You know how it is with you ladies when a relationship starts out,” Michael chuckled and wrapped his arm around Katelina, walking her way. “I need you to do something for me.”
“Like?” Katelina wondered, thinking she was already doing so much.
“I want you to go to the dungeons and feed Paris your blood. Let him see what happened between Ann and me last night when you walked in and that she sat next to me in class today,” Michael requested.
“Paris is in the dungeons? I thought you can’t do him any harm or punish him for being with Ann,” Katelina questioned, confused.
“He is locked up because he was caught trying to help my brother,” Michael chuckled.
“But why does no one know about it?” Katelina questioned.
“You are to keep it to yourself as well. He is waiting for trial and until then no one is to know as I don’t want anyone interfering,” Michael said and send her off.
Katelina went to the dungeons and held out her palm to Paris. “I was sent to feed you.”
“Kat, right?” Paris remembered her from the other night.
“Yes,” Katelina responded with a smile. She wondered how Michael would feel about the fact that she found Paris attractive.
“I am not hungry. Does the lycan king know I am locked up in here?” Paris questioned, hoping there was a way out.
“I think so,” Katelina said.
“Is Ann ok? She must think I used her. Will you tell her that I am sick and will see her soon enough?” Paris asked, wondering why Michael send one of his former wives to feed him.
“Ann is perfectly fine, but you are right about her thinking that you only used her,” Katelina said, feeling half sorry for Paris.
“Why would she? What did Michael do?” Paris asked.
“See for yourself,” Katelina offered her palm again.
Jessica and Ann walked past Michael to their next class and Jessica thought it was unfair that Michael was compelling Ann to bend her to his will.
“I need to run to the bathroom, keep me a seat,” Jessica said just as they walked into class. Michael was hot on their heels, but Jessica forced-walked him away from class.
“Sorry, but I have one too many girlfriends and you are not my type,” Michael joked.
“Listen here asshole. If you compel Ann one more time, I will have Deacon turn the supernatural world against you,” Jessica spat.
“Oh please, as if Deacon will do anything for you. You are not even his woman,” Michael chuckled and walked away.
“I just have to smile in his direction again to have him wrapped around my finger,” Jessica threatened.
“That is true,” Deacon’s voice made her jump. Deacon walked past Michael on his way to the same class. “She is right. You have no right to compel Ann. If she can’t fall in love with you out of free will, then is it even worth having her love at all
“Fine, I won’t compel her again,” Michael said, rolling his eyes towards Jessica. Michael won’t admit it openly, but he kind of enjoyed Deacon’s company.
They all stopped talking when a sad-looking Ami walked past them, with Wynn at her side. Deacon felt Jessica’s jealousy through the mate bond but knew he had no right to say anything since he did steal her from Wynn.
“Promise that you won’t compel Ann again,” Jessica said before Michael could walk away.
“Promise,” Deacon added, hoping that showing his support for Jessica’s cause will soften her up.
“Fine, I promise,” Michael said and attempted to walk into class, but Deacon grabbed him by his arm.
“Do you take me for a fool? Michael, we have become friends, sort of, and you will find a great friend in me, but try to take me for a fool again,” Deacon threatened.
“What makes you think a give a flying fuck about being friends with you? You are not a friend. You knew for three fucking months that Paris was dating Ann and you didn’t tell me,” Michael spat, not liking that Deacon thinks he was his boss.
“Make the promise,” Deacon said coldly, still gripping Michael’s arm.
“Who do you think you are? You are nothing without that shaman necklace around your neck,” Michael reminded Deacon how easily he could compel anyone.
“Your position as the vampire king is only because I put you on the throne and don’t think for a moment I won’t take you off it,” Deacon spat, letting go of Michael’s arm.
“Ha, I would love to see you try,” Michael snorted and walked towards the classroom.
“Michael,” Jessica called after him, but he ignored him. “There are many people that hate you and only tolerate you because of your given title,” Jessica reminded him of what he did and how many people, including almost all the former royals from various species, died because of him.
“How easy it will be to rip the bandage off and expose a wound that has not healed yet,” Deacon remarked.
