Chapter 38
At the council in Eero’s room.
Stella deleted the messages she sent to Ami and the ones Ami send and deleted the call she answered.
“What are you doing with my phone?” Eero walked into his room, his hair still wet.
“Checking the time. I have been waiting for you for almost an hour,” Stella said, getting off his bed.
“I told you after dinner that I am going to take a shower,” Eero said, half annoyed to find Stella in his room.
Eero noticed the poured glass of rum and walked over to it and gulped all of it down before pouring another glass.
Stella smiled, ‘my plan is working.’ Stella inserted two containers of Eero’s sperm but since all the hunter sperm and eggs have been destroyed, she had to find a way to get Eero in bed again.
Stella stood up and wrapped her arms around Eero and as she tried to kiss him, he pushed her away, “you know the new rules; no hunters are allowed together.”
“We will be careful,” Stella said, smiling, before forcing a kiss on him, pressing herself against his body.
“Why waste time together if we cannot be together?” Eero asked, trying once more to push her away, happy about the new rule.
Stella took a step back, frustrated, pulling her dress over her head, standing in front of Eero, wearing only a j-string, ‘let’s see if you can resist me now,’ she thought, dropping her j-string and stepping out of it.
Eero felt his manhood grow stiff at her naked beauty, but he tried to ignore it and instead finish the contents of the glass. Eero found himself drinking more than usual trying to cope with the death of his mother and ever since he was made to believe that Ami left to join another flock and a fated mate amongst the were-owls.
Stella stepped closer to him, seductively taking the glass from him and drinking the last sip. Eero wraps one arm around her naked body and pulls her against him before landing a kiss on her lips as if to take the sip she just took.
‘I have to forget about Ami,’ Eero thought before helping Stella take his clothes off.
Back in Alaska.
“You have to forget about Eero. Don’t let those two ruin your night, who knows perhaps you will meet someone nice tonight,” Jovita said, trying to rescue Ami’s makeup, holding a tissue under her eyes to catch the tears that are about to fall.
“You have my number, if one of my parents shows up earlier, please send me a text,” Jessica instructed Jovita.
“What are you talking about? I am coming with, I am defiantly not letting my eighteen-year-old daughter slip out to a nightclub unattended,” Jovita said, following them out.
“Seriously?” Jessica rolled her eyes. “You guys go down while I set up Jovita’s bed so that it looks like we are sleeping, just in case one of my parents comes home.
Paris was already waiting outside Jessica’s house with Wynn sitting next to him in the passenger seat.
“I wasn’t expecting four of you,” Paris said, looking at Jovita feeling a bit awkward sneaking around with the former Lycan Queen.
“We are all skinny so there is enough space to fit us all in,” Jovita said sarcastically, being the lost one to squeeze into the car.
“You know what, I will walk, see you guys there,” Jessica said getting out of the car.
“Wait up, I will walk with you,” Wynn said, also getting out.
“Great,” Ann said getting out and back in again on the passenger seat next to Paris. As Paris pulled off, Ann slipped her hand onto his leg and he placed his hand on top of hers, smiling.
Jovita looked back through the car window at Jessica and Wynn. ‘How am I ever going to win her over,’ she thought to herself.
“I can always just pick you up and speed you over,” Wynn suggested.
“Why are you walking with me?” Jessica asked.
“I can’t have you walking alone, now, can I?” Wynn asked, smiling.
“Will you please stop being nice to me? How am I supposed to mend my heart with you around?” Jessica asked.
“Claim Deacon and all your problems will go away,” Wynn suggested.
“If you mention his name one more time, I will never speak to you again,” Jessica threatened.
“Deacon, Deacon, Deacon,” Wynn teased.
Jessica does not respond and stubbornly walked on.
Wynn smiled and picked her up and before she could object, he put her back down in front of the club.
“If I become a hybrid will Deacon still want me?” Jessica asked.
“He will still want you even if you are six feet under the ground,” Wynn laughed.
“Why did he have to choose me?” Jessica asked.
“Because it was believed that you’re the last true blood royal Lycan princess,” Wynn said.
“Lycan? I thought I am a werewolf princess,” Jessica asked, confused not knowing the difference.
“Even though we don’t use the term Lycan since the Supernatural war, if you shift into a full-blown wolf, like the werewolves of today at any time they please, then you are considered a Lycan. Original Werewolves could shift only on a full moon and walk on two legs with clawed hands,” Wynn explained.
“I still have so much to learn,” Jessica said when she noticed Paris’s car pulling up.
“You should spend some time with Deacon, he can teach you anything you want to know,” Wynn said, walking over to the car and opening the back car door where Ami was sitting.
“Thank you, but you didn’t have to,” Ami said, smiling.
Wynn walked around to open Jovita’s door, but she was already out and so he stopped in his tracks.
‘He shouldn’t be so nice to other girls while Jessica is not over him,’ Ami thought, looking at Wynn.
‘Who is this? Ami?’ Wynn mind linked back, not sure what was going on.
‘You can hear me? How is that even possible?’ Ami asked, shocked, her eyes big and on Wynn.
‘I don’t know,’ Wynn mind linked back, looking at her confused face.
“What is wrong, Ami?” Jovita asked, walking over to Ami and putting her hand on her shoulder.
‘Don’t mention anything until I figure this out,’ Wynn mind linked her quickly, just as confused as she was.
“Nothing. Shall we go into the club?” Ami said, shaking her confusion off.
“Party time,” Ann said, slipping her hand into Paris’s hand.
At the door, the bouncer asked for their ID and while Paris was showing his id he compelled the bouncer to let them all in.
“The perks of having a vampire as a boyfriend,” Jessica remarked, laughing.
“He still has a long way to go before he can call himself my boyfriend,” Ann said, winking.
“Don’t take too long to make him yours. You never know when you will run out of time and the attention of others grabs him,” Ami said, following them to the bar.
“Sorry girls, but I cannot allow you to consume alcohol since you are all underage,” Jovita said.
“They don’t just sell alcohol.” Jessica rolled her eyes.
“Club soda,” Jessica said to the bartender.
“Hello beautiful, long time no see,” the bartender said, smiling before looking at the guys around Jessica and then Jovita and Ami.
“You know, life sometimes keeps a girl busy,” Jessica said, smiling sweetly.
“You brought new friends, I see. Club soda for everyone?” the bartender asked, but what he really was doing was to find out their age.
“Two more club sodas for these two and three vodka shots and um, Jovita?” Wynn ordered and then looked at Jovita to see what she will be having.
“Mmm, what cocktails do you have? One of each?” Jovita asked, wanting to try them all.
“Slow down, the night is still young,” Paris laughed.
“All of them,” Jovita repeated herself.
“What a great example you are setting,” Jessica said, taking a sip of her club soda and walking to the dance floor.
The bartender looked at Paris and Wynn. “I am going to have to ask for identification.”
Jovita looked at Paris and then at Wynn. “What are you waiting for? Compel him already.”
Paris sighed, before compelling the bartender.
“I would like a cocktail as well please,” Ann asked Paris.
“Sorry babe, but that is not going to happen,” Paris said before pulling her away.
“Where are we going?” Ann asked, laughing.
“You will see,” Paris said, dragging her along.
“The booth where you, well, um, we met,” Ann said, blushing, remembering that crazy first night when she met Paris for the first time. How he told her it will be the best time of her life and how she thought it was crazy that such a sexy guy had any good intentions for a girl like her.
Paris kissed her on her neck before pressing her to sit on the table. Ann looked around and then remembered that this was why she pulled Paris to this booth that first night. It was secluded and private.
Before she knew what was happening, Paris was between her legs, tucking under her miniskirt to pull down her thick stockings.
Ann bit her lip, wanting all of this again, but at the same time, she was conflicted. Paris pulled her forward again so that he can slip her stockings down and she allowed him.
Before long, she was moaning in pleasure, “bite me.”
Paris doesn’t let her ask twice and sunk his teeth into her thigh. The moment of pain from his fangs piercing her skin was quickly replaced by the intoxication that came with a vampire bite and added to her pleasure.
Paris loved the taste of her blood, but what he loved most about drinking her blood was that he could see all of her, her needs, wants, and fears. Paris was happy to see that she was in fact crazy in love with him, but on the downside, she was also in love with Michael. Paris saw why she was conflicted between them, ‘she was not sure if she wanted children and knew with
Paris that it was not an option.'
Paris brought his attention back to pleasuring her. ‘I will just have to show her that life is more than having children and living happily ever after,’ he thought as he continued to pleasure her with his mouth.
Afterward, Ann pulled up her j-string, followed by her thick stockings, before dragging Paris to the dance floor.
A couple of songs later, Ann noticed Ami was sitting alone and not enjoying herself.
“Come dance with us,” Ann tried to drag her to her feet.
“I am fine, not really in the mood anymore,” Ami said, wishing she could have rather been with Eero.
“This place is dull tonight,” Ann admitted.
“Oh, really?” Paris teased.
“Yeah, if you were not here, I would have left,” Ann laughed, blushing a bit.
“How about a house party?” Wynn asked.
“A house party? In this town?” Jessica laughed.
“Yes, come,” Wynn said, making his way out of the club, not telling them that the house party was at Deacon’s house.
“We might as well,” Ann said, pulling up her shoulders.
On his way to Paris car, Wynn took out his phone and gave Deacon a call, “I was just calling to see how your party was going, but by the sound of it, I take it well?”
“Who would have thought? You are right, the Prehistoric is actually great, and they don’t smell like death,” Deacon laughed.
“Do I smell like death?” Wynn asked, wondering if his scent differed from when he was a hybrid.
“You are funny. Are you coming over or what? My neighbor has been asking about you,” Deacon laughed.
“Is she there?” Wynn asked, his eyes falling on Jessica, wondering if it was a good idea to have her there, not wanting to upset her.
“She is and if you don’t hurry, one of these prehistoric might just go home with her,” Deacon laughed before hanging up.
“Who was that?” Jessica wondered as she overheard him using the term ‘she’.
“The owner of the house,” Wynn said, opening the car door when he heard the unlocking sound.
Jessica got into the back seat, followed by her mother and Ami.
“You can sit on my lap,” Paris said, pulling Ann back before she could get into the car, throwing the car key to Wynn so that he could drive.
Ann giggled as they struggled to get comfortable in the front seat. A short drive later and they arrived at Deacon’s house.
