Chapter 58
“How was your first class?” Ann asked, and wrapped her arms around Paris’s neck.
“Interesting,” Paris said, before lowering his cold lips to hers. Paris was so old that there was nothing he didn’t know.
“I was hoping to spend some alone time with you tonight,” Ann said, pouting her lips.
“I know of a few empty pools,” Paris said, looking into her eyes. “Or maybe we can drive to the nearest beach?”
“I like the sound of that,” Ann said, and slipped her hand into Paris.
They were about to slip away when Jessica and Katelina caught up with Ann.
“There you are,” Jessica said.
Katelina looked at Paris, who she never met in person before. She knew who he was because she saw him in Michael’s mind when drinking his blood.
‘My word he is beautiful, even more so in person,’ Katelina thought.
“Hi, Kate,” she greeted.
“My boyfriend, Paris,” Ann said, leaning against Paris.
“Please to meet you,” Paris said, and smiled politely.
“We were just leaving,” Ann said, and tried to get away, pulling Paris along.
“Really? It is our first varsity party, and you want to sneak off with your boyfriend? What happened to friends before bros?” Jessica protested and pulled Ann off Paris.
Ann pulled Jessica closer. “I was going to pop my cherry tonight,” Ann whispered.
Paris frowned when he saw Katelina react with a slight twitch that would have gone un-notice, were he not a vampire.
‘Did she hear what Ann just whispered? Who is she? One of Michael’s?’ Paris wondered, studying her, who was studying Ann.
“So, Kate, are you from around here?” Paris asked.
“USA girl, born and bred,” Katelina said, smiling.
“You don’t look it,” Paris said, referring to her complexion and dark hair made him think she looks more like a woman that could be related to the prehistories.
“Excuse me? What are you trying to say?” Katelina laughed.
Before Paris could explain himself, Jessica spoke. “Paris, don’t you have friends you were going to introduce Ann to?”
“Uh, yes. Come, I see a few of them standing over there by the boos,” Paris said, and led them to where Wynn and Shysie were standing.
“Paris,” Shysie greeted and wrapped her arms around Paris, which went all stiff.
“Please tell me that is not the so-called wife?” Katelina played dumb, knowing exactly who Shysie was.
“Is that not the girl you kicked out of our room this morning because she has blond hair?” Ann chuckled.
“We meet again. Shysie and this is my handsome brother, Wynn,” Shysie said.
“Hi. If I knew she was your friend, I would have never allowed Jessica to kick her out of the room,” Ann said, red in the face.
“I need a drink,” Jessica said, grabbing a drink from the table and drinking it. “What the hell is this? Are we in kindergarten or what?”
“No alcohol allowed. Half of the people here are under twenty-one,” Wynn said.
“You just have to know who to smile at,” Shysie said, and handed her cup to Jessica.
Jessica gave it a sniff before drinking it. “Much better, but I still don’t like you,” Jessica said, and walked off.
“Who does she think she is?” Shysie asked in disbelief.
“Queen B, I guess,” Katelina laughed.
“You can say that again,” Ann laughed.
“We will see about that,” Shysie said.
“What is that supposed to mean? Jessica is my best friend, and you might be my boyfriend’s friend, but I won't stand for talking behind her back,” Ann said, half angry.
“Trust me, Shysie is not my friend. I just tolerate her because she is Wynn’s twin sister,” Paris said, after walking away with Ann, leaving Katelina behind with Wynn and Shysie.
“You are one of Michael’s wives, right?” Wynn confirmed, remembering seeing her around.
“Ex,” Katelina said. “Please, we don’t talk about it, and I just want to live my life.”
“Sure thing,” Shysie said, smiling, wondering how she can use Kate to her advantage.

“Let’s get out of here before we run into someone again,” Ann chuckled and speed up her walking.
They got outside of the building and Paris walked her over to where his car was. He opened the car door for her before walking around to the driver’s side.
“There is not maybe a chance you will allow me to drive your car?” Ann tried her luck.
“Of course, but not at night,” Paris chuckled and drove off.
“But I only see you at night,” Ann protested, punching him on the shoulder playfully.
Paris smiled and sped up, driving towards Kingston Point Beach.
They arrived at the beach and Ann took off her shoes before walking onto the beach, towards the water. Paris joined her, and wrapped his arms around her from behind, looking at the water and the moonlight shining on it.
“This entire summer I spent most days here on this very beach, wishing you were with me and now that wish came true,” Ann said.
Paris swept her hair out of the way and kissed her on her bare shoulder. He could hear her main artery as the blood pumped through it and remember how good her blood tasted. He gritted his teeth as he felt his skin burn just at the thought of seeking his teeth into her flesh to taste her again.
Ann smiled sweetly at Paris and slipped out of her dress and ran deeper into the water. Paris stripped and joined her. With the moonlight shining on her face, Paris stroked his fingers through her hair and brought his fingers back over her shoulder, up her neck, over her chin, resting them on her lips. He replaced his fingers with his lips and kissed her softly, dropping his hands to her body, pulling her closer. “I love you, Ann Willow,” Paris said, in between kisses.
Ann wrapped her arms around him. “Make love to me.”
Paris wrapped his arms around her rear end and lifted her up. Ann wrapped her legs around him and felt that he was already hard for her.
Ann had butterflies when Paris entered her.
“Are you ok?” Paris asked when he was fully inside of her.
“I am,” Ann said, and kissed him.
Paris thrusted slowly. Even though he knew she was not a virgin anymore, he also knew because he made love to her six months ago and because she only had sex that once he knew she will experience it as her first time and that she might feel pain.
“I want to be with you forever,” Ann moaned.
“Forever,” Paris said, as he made love to her, wondering just how long their forever will be, feeling the universe has been against him finding love all his life.
After making love, they got dressed and walked on the beach.
“We should get back,” Paris said, calculating that if they don’t head back now, he will run out of darkness.
“Do we have to? Can’t we watch the sunrise first?” Ann pleaded.
“You can drive,” Paris offered.
“Deal,” Ann smiled and grabbed his car keys from him before he changes his mind.
It was a slower drive back to varsity and Paris was slightly panicked that they won’t make it. “Put your foot on.”
“No way. I am not ready,” Ann said.
“Ann, stop,” Paris said.
“Why? You said, I can drive,” Ann pouted her lip, pulling off.
“I will let you drive tonight again, ok,” Paris said, and got out, walking around to her. Ann scooted over to the passenger seat.
Paris drove extremely fast, scaring Ann. “You are going too fast.”
Paris ignored her and wished he could go faster, considering leaving Ann and his car and using his vampire speed to get to the castle.
“Paris, please slow down,” Ann cried.
They got to Hudson, and Paris skipped a few red lights.
“Paris!” Ann yelled.
Paris pulled up to the higher council, knowing it was the worst idea ever to bring Ann to the higher council, but unless he wanted to tamper with her memory by revealing what he was, he knew he had no time to drop her first.
“You drive yourself to campus, see you later,” Paris said, and got out of the car.
“What? Paris? Wait,” Ann said, and got out of the car, but he was gone.
“Paris?” Ann asked confused, wondering where he went as all that was around her was what was left of Pirelli castle and that was not much.
“What the hell? He stays here?” Ann wondered, not able to see the castle of the supernatural since only the supernatural could see it and those humans that were invited in.
“We meet again,” a voice started Ann.
“We do?” Ann questioned, looking at Michael, not remembering bumping into him yesterday, outside of the library the day before.
“Library, yesterday,” Michael reminded her, feeling bumped that he didn’t even leave a lasting impression on her. ‘I have to get rid of Paris,’ he thought and felt his skin boiling. He put the thought of doing Paris harm out of his mind and felt the pain go away.
