Chapter 155
Lady Hannah looked back over her shoulder and nodded her head before leaving.
Shysie was lurking in the shadows, ‘If I knew she was going to take lord Darii away from here so soon after his return I would have left her to marry prince Andre,’ Shysie thought with clenched fist, her nails piercing the palm of her hands.
Shysie stepped out of the darkness, licking the palms of her hands to heal up her wounds, “I found Emily, she is with the Egyptian prince and princess Freda that looks like myself and Wynn.”
“Good, I want them all three in the dungeons by the end of this week,” King Thorvald said.
“They are more than lycans. It appears they are hybrids,” Shysie said.
“Good, now I have a reason to lock them up,” King Thorvald said, thinking that they drank a vampire to death to become hybrids, not knowing the truth about them.
“Bring Emily to my bedroom, don’t let the council know that she is alive,” King Thorvald gave a final order.
The next day lord Dario and lady Hannah left with Dario Jnr to live a happy life away from the castle.
By the end of the week, prince Ra and princess Freda were in the castle dungeons standing trial for drinking a vampire to death to become hybrids. Prince Ra’s mother Zuberi was unaware as she left the day when her former sister wives left Egypt and went her own away, disappearing into the world.

“What do you want with me?” Emily asked, furious as she was under king Thorvald’s compelling to obey him, therefore preventing her from running.
“I want you to kill everyone in the lycam wing tonight, starting with the royals,” King Thorvald compelled her.
“You didn’t need to compel me; I will do it with pleasure,” Emily said before speeding off.
Emily headed straight for the lycan king and queen’s chambers but found it empty. Next, she entered the next bedroom and found only a human woman, sleeping in bed.
“Wake up!” Emily woke her up.
“What the hell?!” The woman woke up, looking at
“Where are the king and queen?” Emily demanded to know, grabbing the woman by her hair.
“Which ones?” the lady asked as there was many kings and one other queen that lived at the castle.
“The lycan royals!” Emily hissed through teeth, holding back her anger.
“It is a full moon, they are out for the night in their wolf forms,” the woman said before Emily killed her.
“Sorry,” Emily said, wishing that she was not compelled to kill everyone. ‘Why couldn’t he just have compelled me to kill the royals only?’
In the next bedroom, she found Chione sleeping and ends her life without waking her up.
Prince Vasili out and about felt his heartbreak, ‘Something is wrong!’ he minds linked the whole pack at once with a howl.
‘Nasha!’ Prince Kurt howled as he felt his heartbreak.
Bleidd started to run in the direction of the castle, but they are miles away. Bleidd crashed to the ground, losing his footing as his heartbroke as well.
‘Wynn! Find Sanura now! Something is wrong!’ Prince Deacon mind linked Wynn, hoping that he was not too late as he was not mated with Sanura and won't know if she was dead.
“I wonder who prince Deacon’s b*tch is?” Emily asked walking into prince Deacon’s room, the old one.
‘Strange? Did he really not take another wife?’ she asked herself when she found the room empty.
Emily heard the crying of a child, ‘No! I cannot kill a child!’ Emily tried to run away from the crying child but the compelling prevented her from leaving until everyone was dead in the lycan wing.
Emily entered prince Deacon’s actual room and immediately picked up his scent. Sanura’s eyes, filled with fear met Emily's eyes.
Sanura put her child behind her on the bed and stood as a wall between her child and Emily.
While Emily was given the order to kill everyone in the lycan wing, a vampire was ordered to take all the lycan royal children and deliver them to different towns, far away from the council.
As Emily launched forward for Sanura’s throat the vampire sped in and grabbed the child before leaving the castle to drop the child in a town far away.
Emily was relieved that the lycan wing was now cleared of children and continued to kill every last person in the lycan wing before speeding off into the night, getting away from the castle as far as possible.
On return from dropping Sanura’s daughter, the vampire went to king Thorvald before completing his task.
“King Thorvald, it is a full moon and there is no one but humans in the lycan wing,” the vampire informed him.
“Did you complete your task?” King Thorvald asked, sitting on his throne.
“No, Panya’s child and two of the lycan girls still remain,” the vampire said.
“Then get on with it!” King Thorvald yelled.
‘Do they go out on a full moon? Why don’t I know about this?’ King Thorvald argued with himself.
The vampire managed to take Zhara and Bleidd’s daughter followed by Nashwa and Kurt’s daughter. On his return from dropping Nashawa and Kurt’s daughter the sun caught up with him and he died leaving Chione and Vasili's daughter and Panya’s daughter, Phoebe.
The lycans returned as the first sun rays hit the earth, greeted by a blood bath.
Maddie was barely alive and was quickly offered vampire blood to heal and told them that it was Emily.
“I thought Emily is dead?” Queen Lana shouted at prince Deacon, making him flinch at the spit drops landing on his face.
“I killed her myself!” Prince Deacon showed them again what he wanted them to see.
“You should have waited for her to turn to ash!” King Makens shouted.
Queen Lana walked over to the castle nursery ignoring the sobs of her sons over the dead bodies of their claimed human mates.
“Some of the children are gone,” the nursery maid stuttered, crying.
Queen Lana noticed that Anse, Chione, and Vasili’s daughter are playing with Panya’s daughter Phoebe, “Only the two remains?”
“Yes, my queen,” the maid stutters through sobs.
“Council meeting now!” Queen Lana shouted, walking over to the vampire wing, knowing it was the only place dark enough for king Thorvald to attend during the day.
‘Only Anse and Phoebe remain, the other three are gone,’ Queen Lana mind linked her husband and her sons.
Prince Deacon on his knees next to the lifeless bloody body of Sanura hits the floor with his fist, feeling his bones break, ‘The next time I see Emily I will turn her to ash!’ he vowed to himself after blocking his family out.
After a noisy council meeting, queen Lana and king Makens checked up on their sons.
King Makens signalled a few of his guards to hold prince Deacon down while Sanura’s body got removed to the inner courtyard where she will be incinerated with the rest of the humans that died during the night.
They had to follow the same process for each of their other sons.
Late in the afternoon before sundown, the mass burial was held, the wives of the royal brothers to the side of the rest of the humans.
‘Maddie said Emily was specifically asking for us and our sons,’ Queen Lana mind linked her husband in private, looking at the flames engulfing the white linen that was wrapped around the bodies of her daughters-in-law.
‘I blame you for this,’ King Makens mind linked her back.
‘Me?’ Queen Lana questioned.
‘Whose idea was it to kill Emily? You should have specified that Shadey should kill only Emily instead of everyone in the church,’ King Makens reminded her.
‘I remember you next to me all the way not objecting,’ Queen Lana reminded him.
‘We should send princess Anse away,’ King Makens mind linked her.
‘Vasili will never give her up,’ Queen Lana said.
‘If he wants to keep her safe then he has no choice,’ King Makens said before turning around and walking away.
King Makens found himself in the castle nursery and without interrupting, watches Phoebe playing with Anse that was a year younger than her.
“Pack a few items for both girls and be sure that they are dressed for a long travel, they leave tonight,” King Makens instructed the nursery maid before taking his leave.
That night king Makens visited prince Vasili in his room and even though princr Vasili told him to go away king Makens still stepped into his room, “I am sending Anse away for her own safety.”
“Where?” Prince Vasili asked.
‘At least he is not objecting,’ King Makens thought. “It is best we don’t know but rest assured she will be brought up with a lycan pack.”
“So, she will think herself an orphan?” Prince Vasili objected.
“Better she grows up thinking she is an orphan then dead,” King Makens said with a firm tone.
“No, she will remain here at the castle with ten guards and a few hunter kids as her playmates,” prince Vasili said.
“Don’t blame me if something happens to her,” King Makens said, and left.
