Chapter 95
“Stella is dead,” Ami informed Eero after a long embrace, wondering how he would feel about it.
“I know. I killed her,” Eero said, shocking Ami to the core.
“You killed her?” Ami questioned, the blood draining from her face. Ami was shocked at how he said it as if Stella’s life did not matter, as if he would do it again.
“I thought she killed you. I was mad with rage,” Eero explained himself, realizing that maybe he should not sound so cocky about killing Stella.
“Marry me,” Eero asked, cupping her face before sinking to one knee. “Let’s bring this baby into the world, married.”
“You know I am pregnant?” Ami asked, looking down at him.
“Yes. Wynn told me,” Eero smiled up at her, anxiously waiting for a ‘yes’ from her.
“Of course,” Ami said. Looking at Eero, she knew she loved him more than anyone in the world and did not understand her own heart at that moment.
“I need time to think,” Ami said and stepped away from him.
Eero stood up from the floor and grabbed her, pulling her in for a kiss.
Ami got lost in the moment and reciprocated the kiss, followed by taking off her clothes. Eero followed her lead and undressed himself in between kisses. After they made passionate love, Ami was laying in his arms while he played with her hair.
“Yes,” Ami said and looked at him, lowering her lips to his.
“I want to get married today still,” Eero said, thinking he didn’t want anything to happen again or for her mother to change her mind.
“Go put on your suit and meet me in the chapel in an hour’s time,” Ami said and got up.
“Yes, ma’am,” Eero chuckled and slipped on his clothes while Ami watched him.
After Ami mind linked the were-owl priest and a shaman, she walked over to the castle wardrobe room, knowing she will find a wedding dress there. Ami took the least puffy dress from the 1980s and handed it over to an omega. “Freshen this up and bring it to my room.”
Two hours later, Ami was walking down the aisle with Ann and Jessica, the only witnesses to her wedding, and no one else knew.
After their wedding, they slipped away to the house Ami bought a few months ago before Stella showed up.
“That was a short and sweet wedding,” Ann told Jessica when they walked back to their dorm room.
“I wonder how her mother is going to feel that Ami got married without telling her or inviting her,” Jessica chuckled.
“I want a big wedding one day,” Ann daydreamed about her wedding day one day and Paris popped up in her head. Before she could stop herself, she cried.
“What is the matter?” Jessica turned to Ann and wrapped her arms around her.
“I ruined things with Paris for good,” Ann cried.
“Nonsense. He will come around,” Jessica tried to comfort her.
“No, he won’t,” Ann sobbed. “It is all Michael’s fault."
“Is it really?” Jessica questioned. “Michael didn’t let you do anything. I know he tricked you, but the decisions you made were still your own.”
“On whose side are you?” Ann choked, wiping her tears.
“I am always on yours. To tell you the truth; I really don’t like Michael,” Jessica said with a serious expression on her face.
“That makes two of us,” Ann chuckled.
“Liar,” Jessica teased.
“Urg! What am I going to do?” Ann questioned.
“I don’t know what you are going to do but I know what I am doing,” Jessica smiled.
“You are giddy. Who is the lucky guy?” Ann wondered.
“Deacon,” Jessica said, blushing.
“Deacon?” Ann asked shocked.
“The one and only,” Jessica chuckled.
“No way! When did this happen?” Ann asked, shocked.
“Today,” Jessica said.
“Wynn compelled us to not leave Deacon’s private living room until we talked things out,” Jessica explained. “Let’s just say we did not do a lot of talking.
“You had sex with Deacon?!” Ann squealed.
“Unbelievable sex! That man is talented,” Jessica added.
“Tell me everything!” Ann exclaimed, happy for Jessica.
For the rest of the way to their dorm, Jessica told Ann about the sex she had with Deacon and confessed that she loved him. Back at the dorm, Ann helped Jessica get ready for her date with Deacon.
“I feel bad leaving you alone tonight. I wish you could be happy in love like me,” Jessica said, sad for Ann.
“Don’t worry about me. You go and enjoy yourself,” Ann said after embracing Jessica.
“You could always be a third wheel,” Jessica suggested.
“No way,” Ann laughed. “You go and be happy for the both of us.”

Over the next few weeks, Ann came to terms and accepted that she will never be with Paris again, believing he has left for good. Even though Paris disappeared, no one knew that he was secretly watching over Ann and her siblings. Jessica and Deacon claimed it each other with the help of a fated mate spell. Mr. Ondrink proposed to Soroya and she said yes. Deacon patiently waited for Torvald to make his next move. Michael tried his luck with Ann every now and then without luck. Queen Amirah and Wynn made their relationship public, shocking everyone.
One morning after sex Wynn looked at Queen Amirah and found him strangely in love with her. “How would you feel if I tell you I want to claim you as my forever mate?”
“Do you love me, Wynn Mateo,” Queen Amirah teased with a chuckle.
“What if I do,” Wynn snogged her, making her feel like a teenager again.
“I am serious. When we get married in a few months I want Ondrink to put a fated mate spell over us. I want us to claim each other,” Wynn said, looking into her stunning blue eyes. “Unless you don’t want to?”
“Of course, I want it!” Queen Amirah exclaimed and pulled him in for a kiss that resulted in making love.

After breakfast, Wynn found Deacon in the lycan throne room. “Any news on Torvald?”
“As I told you before, you will be the first to know,” Deacon said. “What is up with you?” Deacon noticed that Wynn seemed happier than usual.
“I am in love,” Wynn chuckled.
“Thank goodness! I thought you are going through with the whole marrying Queen Amirah.
“I am,” Wynn chuckled. “I love her, and I plan to make her my forever mate.”
“God help us,” Deacon chuckled making Wynn laugh as well.
“So, when are you and Jessica tying the knot?” Wynn wondered.
“There is no rush. We already claimed each other so nobody is breaking us up,” Deacon said, sure of himself.
“Will you be my best man?” Wynn asked. “I was going to ask Paris, but he is pretending to have disappeared.”
“So, I am the second choice?” Deacon chuckled.
“I am kidding,” Wynn laughed. “But seriously. Will you be my best man?”
“Sure, as long as you don’t marry Queen Amirah,” Deacon joked.
“Be serious,” Wynn demanded.
“Fine, I will be your best man,” Deacon chuckled. “When is the wedding again?”
