Chapter 179

Over the next few days, prince Andre found out that no vampire heard any news about lord Dario’s whereabouts.
“I have some good news and some bad news,” Prince Andre told lady Hannah one morning at breakfast.
“Please tell me my husband is alive and well,” Lady Hannah said, putting her fork down.
“That is the bad news; I don’t know and neither does king Thorvald,” Prince Andre said.
“And the bad good news?” Queen Amirah asked.
“They are not lying to her. They know as much as she does,” Prince Andre said before forking a mouth full of food.
“Excuse me,” Lady Hannah said, having lost her appetite.
“Glad to see you still eat normal food,” Queen Amirah stated, looking over at the empty lycan tables.
“I take it prince Mano is still missing?” Prince Andre asked.
“There is not a single lycan around,” Queen Amirah pointed out.
“Besides the hybrids,” Prince Andre reminded her.
“Besides them,” Queen Anina rolled her eyes.

That evening Shysie got summoned by king Thorvald that send a human to fetch her from the vampire dining hall.
“What are you up to little sister?” Wynn asked before she could leave.
“Little sister? Who said you were born first?” Shysie objected.
“Who says I am not,” Wynn teased.
“I thought you are twins?” one intoxicated human asked.
“Twins don’t come out at the same time, dummy,” Shysie said walking off.
“Paris?” Wynn asked.
“I don’t know, but one thing I do know is that they are having s*x,” Paris said.
“What? And you still stay with her?” the human man that was in love with Paris wanted to know, not understanding that any woman will choose anyone over his lovely Paris.
“I can smell him on her. With any luck she will give me up,” Paris said before sinking his teeth into the human, shutting him up.
Wynn left and followrf Shysie without being noticed.
“Any word amongst the vampires regarding princess Claire ?” Wynn overheard king Thotvsld asked.
“None whatsoever. It is like she has vanished into thin air,” Shysie said.
“What about your brother?” King Thorvald asked.
“I have not found her, obviously,” Wynn made his presence known.
“Perhaps it is time you give up on her. Maybe she is dead somewhere,” Shysie suggested.
“Perhaps,” King Thorvald said.
‘I hope,’ Wynn thought to himself.
“When will you go out again to go look for her?” King Thorvald demanded to know.
“Your majesty, I agree with my sister, perhaps she is dead as I have searched everywhere for her and can not pick up her scent,” Wynn said.
“You will continue to search for her until I say you can stop,” King Torvald said, angry.
“Yes, of course, your majesty,” Wynn said taking his leave, Shysie following him.
“Shysie,” King Thorvald stopped her.
“Yes your majesty,” Shysie said, turning around, thinking he wanted her in his bed.
“Please go fetch lady Hannah,” King Thorvald asked.
“Right away,” she said before speeding off.
After a short while, lady Hannah arrived at king Thorvald's bedroom, hopeful to get some news on her husband.
“Come in lady Hannah,” King Thorvald said, pouring her a glass of rum.
“I assume you have summoned me to give me news on my husband?” Lady Hannah said, taking the glass from him.
“You might want to sit down,” King Thorvald said, pointing to a chair.
“Is my husband dead?” Lady Hannah asked, tears already flowing down her face.
“I am afraid so,” King Thorvald said, speeding over and grabbing the glass of rum before it hit the ground.
Lady Hannah felt her knees buckle and she retreated into the nearest chair, sitting down, going into a panic state.
King Torvald speed off and returns with prince Andre before lady Hannah even noticed he was gone.
“Oh my sweet lady Hannah,” Prince Andre swept her up in his arms and sped off with her, taking her to her room.
After comforting her for a few hours she asked him to leave, “I need to be alone.”
Over the next few weeks, prince Andre came to check on lady Hannah every single day, making sure she waa eating and that she have a lady in waiting with her at all times.
One evening after Sanura checked in with Lady Hannah, followed by checking in on baby Phoebe, Panya’s daughter she paid Chione a visit.
“Do you and prince Vasilu communicate?” Sanura asked.
“Yes, why do you ask?” Chione asked.
“I think I am pregnant and I am wondering if you can ask him to tell prince Deacon,” Sanura asked hesitantly, knowing the question that was about to follow.
“Why don’t you tell him yourself?” Chione obviously wanted to know.
“For some reason, we were never able to mind link,” Sanura said, not telling Chione the truth.
“Don’t worry about a thing, I will mind link Vasili and tell him to give prince Deacon the good news,” Chione said.
“Thank you,” Sanura said, hugging her.
“You, Nashwa, and Zahra will be pregnant together,” Chione said, delighted.
“Really? They didn’t say anything to me,” Sanura said.
“They didn’t tell me either. I just overheard them talking about it,” Chione put her mind at ease.
“What about you?” Sanura wondered.
“Well, um, you see; since the wedding night, we never made love again,” Chione hanged her head.
“What? Why not?” Sanura asked.
“I, I,” Chione struggled to find the words.
“You like women?” Sanura blurted out.
“I don’t know why,” Chione said, tears escaping her eyes.
“It will be ok,” Sanura said, embracing her again.
“What if queen Lana kills me if I don’t get pregnant soon?” Chione cried. “Have you talked to prince Vasili about it? Perhaps inviting another woman to your bed will make things easier for you,” Sanura suggested.
“I am too ashamed,” Chione admitted.
“Don’t worry about a thing. As soon as they return, I will arrange everything,” Sanura promised.
As soon as Prince Deacon learned about Sanura’s pregnancy he convinced his father that it was time to return to the castle and focus on keeping the next generation safe. Queen Lana was not pleased with their return without prince Mano.
The evening of their return there was a soft knock on the bedroom door of prince Vasili and Chione’s door.
“Princess Sanura said you sent for me?” a woman said, entering their room.
“Princess Sanura?” Vasili asked confused looking at the woman that was wearing a nightgown.
Chione blushed and got off the bed and swiftly walked over to the woman. “A misunderstanding.”
“Chione? What is going on?” Prince Vasili asked.
“Um, nothing,” Chione tried to push the lady out of the room.
“Your secrets are safe with me,” the woman said, loud enough for prince Vasili to hear, looking over at him.
“What secrets?” Prince Vasili wanted to know.
“No secrets,” Chione said in a panicked voice.
The lady shuts the door before pulling Chione in for a kiss.
“Oh, I see. My wife is not into sex let alone threesomes,” Prince Vasilo chuckled.
“In China, the wives choose consorts to satisfy their husbands,” the lady said.
“Consorts?” Prince Vasili asked confused as the lady walked over.
“A woman that sleeps only with the one man of another woman of status, husband,” the lady explained.
“But then why are you kissing my wife if you are here for me?” Prince Vasili asked, still confused.
“I am here for the both of you. To help your wife conceive,” the woman smiled, walking over to prince Vasili.
“I am not sure how one woman is going to help another to conceive,” Prince Vasili said right before his mouth got covered with hers.
“Your wife likes woman and bringing another woman into your bed for her to enjoy while you enjoy her, will make it enjoyable for the both of you,” the woman explainsed, holding her hand out to Chione.
Prince Vasili finally realized what was going on and his eyes met Chione.
“I was hoping to have some time to talk about this with you,” Chione said, expecting prince Vasili to go into a raging fit.
The woman took Chione’s hand and pulled her to the bed. Once on the bed, she dropped her nightgown and helped Chione take her's off.
