Chapter 143

‘Do you know that you are a hybrid?’ Prince Ra mind linked Princess Freda.

“Will you be my wife?” Prince Adio asked, his naked body pressed against Princes Freda, ready to enter her and take her virginity.

“Yes,” Princess Freda said out loud instead of in her mind, responding to Prince Ra and not his father, Prince Adio.

Prince Adio’s wives retracted their hands from her body, pleased that they have concurred another wife for their husband.

‘If you don’t want him to deflower you, you better get out of there as fast as possible,’ Prince Ra mind linked her, hoping that she will come to his room.

“I mean, no,” Princess Freda said before pushing Prince Adio off her and speeding off.

“Did you know?” Prince Adio asked, frustrated, holding Zuberi by her throat.

“No,” she managed to say in a soft and honest voice.her,

Prince Adio pulled Zuberi towards him by her throat before kissing her. While kissing her he let go of her throat and pushed her down on the bed, forcefully entering her, every stride more forceful than the previous.

‘Where are you going?’ Prince Ra mind linked Princess Freda, wondering where she was going as he could see that she was outside, the dark night around her.

‘Home,’ Princess Freda mind linked back, confused as to what was happening to her and how she was able to move so fast.

Unlike half a morning by car, it took them to cover the distance when they came for the ball. It took Princess Freda only a few minutes to find herself in her street.

Princess Freda came to a halt and realized that she was kind of half-naked with only the sheer shawl covering her body. Princess Freda was standing in the middle of the street, between her own house and that of Prince Deacon.

‘I can’t go home, not like this, but what if Lord Wynn is not home?’ Princess Freda asked herself.

“Princess Freda? What on earth are you doing here? What are you wearing?” Wynn asked after speeding up to her.

“I didn’t see you,” Princess Freda stuttered.

Wynn took off his jacket and threw it over her. “Come inside.”

Wynn walked her into Prince Deacon’s Mansion. “What happened? Where is Prince Deacon?”

“I,” Princess Freda tried but couldn't find the words.

‘Are you ok?’ Wynn mind linked Prince Deacon.

‘Yes, why?’ Prince Deacon mind linked back, but then he saw Wynn’s mind.

‘Is she ok? What happened to her?’ Prince Deacon mind linked, sitting up.

‘I am not sure, but she seems to be in shock. What is going on over there and what is she wearing?’ Wynn mind linked.

‘Prince Adio!’ Prince Deacon mind linked in shock, recognizing the Egyptian shawl.

‘What is he doing there? Did he bring his wives?’ Wynn asked, remembering a good night with Zuberi.

‘Keep your dirty mind to yourself,’ Prince Deacon mind link.

“Did Prince Adio make you his wife?” Wynn asked concerned, knowing if he did, he will soon be coming for her.

“No, but I did accidentally say yes as he was about to make love to me,” Princess Freda said, finally calmed.

“Accidentally? That is not good. Saying yes to him is as good as you belong to him now,” Wynn said.

“He cannot possibly think his customs are acceptable here in England?” Princess Freda protested.

“I will go get you a nightgown,” Wynn said, leaving, and before Princess Freda could take a second breath, he was back with a nightgown and a morning dress.

‘Benjamin and I are leaving right away. See you before midnight, I hope,’ Prince Deacon mind linked.

‘Princess Freda said yes to Prince Adio,’ Wynn mind linked Prince Deacon.

‘That is a surprise,’ Prince Deacon mind linked, relieved.

‘By accident,’ Wynn mind linked again.

‘What do you mean by accident?’ Prince Deacon asked, confused.

‘I don’t know, that is what she says,’ Wynn mind linked back.

‘She is as good as his now,’ Prince Deacon mind linked, while shoving his clothes into his suitcase.

Princess Freda laid her head down on the bed, alone in the room that Deserey prepared for her.

Prince Adio gave his last violent thrust, his eyes on Zuberi as he climaxed.

Zuberi realized that Prince Adio was not wearing his special necklace that kept him safe from her powers and she realized that she knew she could set herself free and give her son his right full place as ruler.

“Prince Adio, run to that window and jump through it,” Zuberi compelled him, finally taking revenge for her first and true husband that Prince Adio had killed. Prince Adio did not treat Prince Ra as worthy as he suspected that prince Ra was not his. When he made Zuberi his, she did not appear to be pregnant and since her first husband was his half-brother, there was no telling if her son, who she had eight and a half months later, was his or his half-brother.

Prince Adio’s father, like him, had many wives, but his father was just a normal human, not aware of the Supernatural world. Amongst his wives were a lycan and a were-snake. Prince Adio’s brother was older by him by a month and therefore when Zuberi arrived at their doorstep, she was betrothed to Prince Adio’s brother, and they fell in love immediately that left Prince Adio jealous with envy. Before the death of his brother, his brother shared his darkest secret with Zuberi and told her that he was a lycan as his mother was, but no one knew, not even his father. Zuberi knew that Prince Ra was possibly a lycan and not a were-snake, but feared that if he comes of age and shifted for the first time that it will mean the death of him. Every full moon she will take her son away and on one of the full moons shortly after his sixteenth birthday, he did shift into a lycan. Even though Zuberi could not be happier, she did fear for his life, so she compelled him to forget that he has shifted, and she has done so with every full moon ever since. Zuberi knew that there was a good chance that he will shift on any other day, so she always kept her son close, no matter what.

Prince Adio’s wives watch in horror as he did what Zuberi told him to do, and hysteria filled the room when Prince Adio crashed through the window, making the glass shatter and break as he fell to his death.

“Forget what just happened. You all were making love to Prince Adio and fell asleep. Forget that Princess Freda was here. Now sleep and only wake when the bedroom door opens,” Zuberi compelled them before laying on the bed, waiting for the door to burst open.

It did not take long for servants to knock on Prince Ra’s door.

“Prince Ra, I fear your father committed suicide,” his English valet walked into the room, followed by his Egyptian servant. The English valet took his nightgown and held it so that Prince Ra could slip his arms into it. His Egyptian servant put his shoes right for him to slip his feet in.

“Where are his wives?” Prince Ra asked, feeling a compelling lift off him. ‘Zuberi is my mother, and my father was a lycan? I am a lycan? Do I have the same abilities as Zuberi?’ the questions rushed through Prince Ra’s head as the compelling Zuberi has put over him to lift the day he hears that his father died. ‘Prince Adio is not my father,’ Prince Ra thought to himself with relief.

“They are in their room, the same room where he jumped out of the window and fell himself to death,” the English valet said.

“How could this have happened?” Prince Ra pretended not to know, even though he had an idea.

Prince Ra entered what was his father’s room, his wives sitting on the bed, all confused and some even crying.

“Husband,” he heard a few soft voices acknowledging him as their new husband.

Prince Ra walked over to the window. “Where is his body?”

For a moment, Zuberi thought it was unsuccessful and that he shifted and slithered away.

“We moved it and cleaned up so that no one has to see it in the morning,” one lord said.

“I did not see you come in. Please leave the room as my wives are not decent enough,” Prince Ra demanded all the men to leave.

“Your wives?” the Lord asked, confused as he took his leave.

“You comfort your wives, Prince Ra, I will explain the custom to the English Lord,” Prince Ra’s servant said.

“No need,” Prince Ra said, walking after the English lord.

“You see, they become my wives as I am the next ruler, but not to worry, they are given a choice at his burial to follow him to the afterlife,” Prince Ra explained.

“Whatever do you mean?” the English lord asked, shocked, not believing his ears.

“You know exactly what I mean,” Prince Ra said with a chuckle.

The English Lord found it strange that the Prince was not upset by his father’s death.
