Chapter 189

It was clear that no one knew the whereabouts of princess Phoebe.
“So we lost another princess,” Queen Lana said in a slow angry but controlled tone.
“Well, you did allow her father to be executed and well we all know,” Prince Deacon started but his father silenced him with just a stare.
“I would like my night time guards rotated more often,” Princess Anse interrupted the staredown between father and son.
“Why?” Prince Vasili asked.
“I will sleep better if I know they are more alert,” Princess Anse said.
“It’s been a decade and we have not found our stolen grand children and no sign of the devil that took them,” Queen Lana slammed her hand down on the table.
“Bleidd, you are to pay prince Juno a visit and invite them to the castle,” King Makens said, putting his hand over queen Lana’s.
“Why?” Prince Deacon asked, curious.
“I have been informed that after a decade they still don’t have any children so perhaps it is time to intervene,” King Makens said.
“Intervene?” Prince Deacon asked.
“King Thorvald’s science is clearly working so I will let his scientist test if there is something wrong with either one of them.
“I am just glad that the world is in short supply of Blue Bloods,” Prince Kurt said, throwing his napkin down on the table before standing up.
“If there is no new princesses found by the end of this year then we will use princess Freda's eggs and implant them into humans with all of your sperms,” King Makens declared.
Prince Deacob choked on his food.
“Are you ok?” Prince Bleidd padded him on his back.
“Fine, fine,” Prince Deacon continued to choke, clearing his throat.
“Don’t forget princess Jenny. Her eggs should be fertilized with prince Juno’s sperm as well,” Queen Lana said.
“Is this really a conversation to have over breakfast?” Prince Deacon asked.
“Here is an idea; why don’t the two of you have more children?” Prince Deacon said his final say before excusing himself.
Princess Anse excused herself as well and walked after prince Deacon, “Uncle.”
Queen Lana followed her husband, that was making his way over to prince Deacon’s room.
“We are to late,” King Makens said, angry, walking over to the open doors of his balcony, watching prince Deacon run towards the woods in his wolf form.
“It is not to late; just send the guard after him,” Queen Lana suggested.
“I disown him; I am done with them,” King Makens said, boiling with anger. ‘If anyone else wants to leave then leave now, but don’t ever come back,’ King Makens mind linked his sons, walking back into prince Deacon’s room.
“Come,” King Makens said, grabbing queen Lana by her arm.
“I can walk myself,” she said, flinching at his grip.
King Makens walked to the vampire wing.
“Do we have to involve the vampires?” Queen Lana protested when she realized where they are going.
“Since you don’t want to carry more children we will make them through science,” King Makens said.
“Are you insane? Do you really want to leave our DNA with King Thorvald,” Queen Lana broke away from his grip.
They stare at each other for a moment before queen Lana spoke again, “Fine, we will have more children, but we will do it the good old-fashioned way.”
“After you,” King Makens said, stepping aside so that she can lead the way to their room.
After making love to queen Lana, king Makens put the lycan army to work. He hated the fact that he had to lessen the number of lycans out on the field that are still searching for the lost princesses, but he was determined to find Blue Bloods to insure his bloodline lives on if he was to meet his maker one day.
‘Perhaps it is time to accept that my son Mano and the princesses are dead and long gone?’ he questioned himself but knew his queen will never accept it and allow him to pull all efforts in searching for them.
‘Come to my office,’ King Makens mind linked his three sons. They are quick to show up at their father’s office.
“I was going to send our army out to scout for some princesses but then a better idea popped into my head. You three are to leave and take a small group of the pack with you to tend to your needs and so on, plus twenty guards each and don’t come back until you have found a fated mate,” King Makens ordered.
“I am not sure I understand,” Prince Bleidd objected.
“I am not leaving my daughter behind,” Prince Vasili objected.
“Take her with you, I will arrange with the council to send a few hunters with you for protection,” King Makens said as if it was no big deal.
“So where are we to find these fated mates? Last time I checked there are no royal lycans left, besides the few we know of,” Prince Kurt said.
“That is why I am sending you out into the world. Each pick a country and go travel. Goodbye, king Makens waved them out of his office.
“Just like that?” Prince Bleidd asked, still confused.
“And if any of you run into your brother, Deacon you are to let me know immediately,” King Makens gave a final word, ignoring prince Bleidd.

Six years have passed since prince Deacon has gone rogue. In these six years, nothing much has changed. Queen Lana made sure not to fall pregnant without king Makens knowing any better, and occasionally threatening to use king Thorvald’s science. King Makens always argued that their DNA was used for the first hunter kid and king Thorvald did nothing sinister without their knowledge, but queen Lana stood her ground and claimed DNA was one thing and that her Egg’s and his sperm was a whole different thing.
Three hunter children were born amongst four hunter couples that were the first-born hunters from king Thorvald’s science twenty years ago. At first, the council objected to marrying the hunter kids to each other in fear of incest, but king Thorvald assured them that they were all created from different strands of DNA, lying of course.
They all were created from his own DNA, but the variants of supernatural and human DNA are different. One of the couples was pregnant and almost full term, with a few other hunter kids also becoming of age. King Thorvald tried to compel them to like each other so that they don’t feel forced to marry one another but it turned out that they can not be compelled so he had to make use of his enchantress again. King Thorvald hated using enchantresses as they always wanted something in return. This time the enchantress wanted a hunter, thinking having children with a hunter will produce some sort of supernatural, but it turned out that a hunter with a human or any other supernatural result in human, eliminating the supernatural gene. Only two hunters can produce a hunter. King Thorvald also extracted eggs from all hunter females after their first periods on their next ovulating cycle and the guys had to ejaculate once a day, calling it their duty and their second most important purpose in life; the first being, killing prehistoric vampires.
The oldest hunter, the very first hunter went by the name Kenton Malik, taking the surname of the human surrogate mother. His wife that was born a few months after him is known as Nina Dowly, however, her surname did change when she got married. Kenton Malik had red hair just like the lycan royal family and Nina had blond hair and they called their first-born son, Kenton after his father but referred to him as Jnr. Kenton and Nina were both parts of the hunter group of kids that was considered princess Anse’s protectors. Because Kenton looked so much like the royal lycan, princess Anse always called him her cousin because indirectly, he kind of was since they share DNA. Kenton and Nina were not amongst the hunters that were allowed to leave with princess Anse and prince Vasili six years ago.
The day prince Deacon left he ended up with queen Amirah’s she-wolves and has been enjoying their company ever since, never leaving. Queen Amirah and prince Andre did not tell the royals of prince Deacon's whereabouts. It was not that they were loyal to him, but both agreed that one day prince Deacon will be king, and being in good favor with him could benefit them.
One evening a priest came knocking at the castle gate. From the look of him, it was clear that he was attacked by some wild animal. “I need to speak to a man that goes by the name of Thorvald,” the half-dead priest pleaded with the first person that opened the door.
“That is king Thorvald to you,” Shysie said laughing, grabbing the priest by his arm and pulling him into the castle. The priest barely found his feet when Shysie sped off to the vampire throne room.
“You have a visitor,” Shysie said, dropping the priest at king Thorvald’s feet. King Thorvald immediately recognized the priest.
Before the priest could get a word out, king Thorvald speds of his chair and kneeled next to the priest, “Where is the girl?”
“G-gone, s-she slaughtered e-everyone. I-I barely got away,” the priest managed to get out.
King Thorvald sat back on his throne and signaled Shysie to come closer. “Feed him to my pet,” King Thorvald whispered.
“Please, w-wait, h-how will you know what s-she looks l-like? Y-you have not seen her for a-about eighteen years,” the priest tried to save his own life.
