Chapter 94
“You seem in a good mood,” Ami remarked when her mother, Queen Amirah, checked up on her.
“I am,” Queen Amirah said with a smile and wondered if Ami could smell Wynn on her. ‘Hopefully not. I did shower,’ she thought and pulled up a chair.
‘Perhaps she does not know that Eero is on his way,’ Ami thought and wondered where Eero was.
‘Any news on Eero? You said he was on his way, hours ago,’ Ami mind linked Wynn, fearing that Eero will show up while her mother was around.
‘He is at the council. Probably sleeping his drunk ass off,’ Wynn said.
“Mom, I would like to take a bath,” Ami asked her mom to help her to the bathroom.
After a bath, Queen Amirah helped Ami to blow out her hair and lend her an arm for support as they walked to the living room.
“Someone had sex in here,” Ami remarked when she sat down on the sofa that Wynn and her mother had sex on.
“You know how it goes. Supernatural has no respect,” Queen Amirah choked and walked over to the large windows to open a few.
“Have Wynn spent time in here?” Ami questioned, picking up his scent.
“Many times. Almost every day,” Queen Amirah lied, knowing Ami could pick up Wynn’s scent.
‘Eero was also in here.’ Ami picked up his scent. She looked over at her mother. ‘What is she not telling me?’
“Coffee?” Queen Amirah questioned.
“Please,” Ami responded and studied her closely.
Queen Amirah mind linked one of her omegas and moments later the coffee arrived.
“How is your heart feeling? I heard you and Wynn un-mated,” Queen Amirah broke the silence.
“I thought you would be mad,” Ami said.
“It is your life,” Queen Amirah stated.
“Then why did you have a fated mate spell placed over me? How did you manage it?” Ami questioned.
“I did no such thing,” Queen Amirah chuckled.
“Stop already,” Ami spat. “Just stop.”
Queen Amirah just shook her head in silence. She knew she was guilty, but she was not going to admit it.
“Arrange for my room to be cleaned with clean linen,” Ami told the Omega that was standing around, waiting for her next orders.
“Yes, princess,” the omega said and left.
After the omega left, Ami took a deep breath before she spoke again. “It is clear that I am carrying Eero’s baby.”
“I am aware of that,” Queen Amirah admitted.
“Is that why you lied to me when you told me the baby will be fine if I part shift enough to claim Wynn? You want me to lose this baby?” Ami questioned.
“Do you blame me?” Queen Amirah started to defend herself. “You are the last of our line.”
“You can still have children,” Ami remarked, rolling her eyes.
“With whom? There are no were-owl royals left and the bloody lycans have the first claim to any human royals,” Queen Amirah reminded Ami.
“There is Wynn. I saw in his mind that he has a daughter and the last time he saw her, she was pregnant. Those kids should have grandchildren themselves by now,” Ami brainstormed. “Why not try to track them down?”
“Are you insane? Half-bloods? Who knows who the father was? I am not having half-bloods,” Queen Amirah spat.
“You won't half-bloods, but you will have me make babies with Wynn?” Ami frowned.
“Wynn is some sort of pure-blood royal. Maybe even a direct descendant of the royal multi-shifters,” Queen Amirah stated.
“How did you come to that conclusion?” Ami chuckled.
“He has kingship authority,” Queen Amirah told her. “We had a little argument, and he lost his patience and that is when I felt it.”
“Wynn is stronger than you?” Ami asked, shocked.
“And Deacon,” Queen Amirah added.
“What?” Ami exclaimed. “Are you sure?”
“I am,” Queen Amirah said.
“But then should he not be the king of the supernaturals? Deacon is supposed to be just the lycan king then,” Ami stated.
“Ladies,” Wynn said, walking into the living room, overhearing their conversation.
“Wynn. What are you doing here?” Ami asked.
“Checking up on Eero, but thought I will pop in with you first,” Wynn said, making Ami’s eyes stretch, looking over at her mother.
“What is that look for?” Queen Amirah questioned.
“I don’t want any trouble, that is all,” Ami said.
“I will go check in on Eero,” Wynn said and made his way out of the living room, but stopped at the door.
“Keep your thoughts about me to yourself. I choose not to be a king,” Wynn said. “And just because I am marrying you does not mean we will rule the supernatural world,” Wynn said and walked away, leaving Ami with her mouth open.
“You and Wynn?” Ami exclaimed.
“It is not as if you want him,” Queen Amirah said. “As you said, I can have more children. He might not want to rule the supernatural world, but I cannot just stand by and see how the lycans are making a royal fucking mess of our world. If he does not want to rule, then one of his offspring will.”
“You are un-fucking-believable,” Ami spat and stormed out of the living room.
Queen Amirah rolled her eyes at Ami and walked over to one of the windows and stared out of it, smiling, thinking about the great sex she had with Wynn. She has always been in charge, always the dominant but she loved how Wynn took control over her, forcing her into obedience.
“Where is Ami?” Wynn questioned when he returned to the living room to give her an update on Eero.
“Went to her room. We had a fallout,” Queen Amirah said. “You didn’t have to tell her about us.”
“Why not? The sooner it is out there the better,” Wynn said and walked over to her. Queen Amirah’s heart skipped a beat when he placed his hands on either side of her on the deep windowsill and forced her to half sit on it. “You can choose to make her happy or yourself and something tells me that you are selfish enough to choose yourself,” he said before kissing her on her neck. “I have a broken heart to mend from rejecting Ami.”
“At your service,” Queen Amirah breathed, plaiting her fingers into his hair.
“I know,” Wynn said and left her there, panting for more.
‘Can’t believe how great sex was with her,’ Wynn thought as he left the council to clear his head and think about the decision he has made. ‘The sex might be great, but she is an evil bitch,’ Wynn thought, not so sure he wants her to be the mother of his children. ‘I have to go get a Vasectomy,’ Wynn decided and sped across the world to have the procedure done in another country not willing to risk Queen Amirah finding out.

Eero finally felt in a state of mind to face Ami and after cleaning up and some rest he walked over to the were-owl wing.
“Queen Amirah,” Eero stated when she blocked his way in the hallway on his way to Ami’s room.
“I will let the two of you be together and have the baby. Hell, you can marry her but if you tell her that I tried to kill you I will end you,” Queen Amirah warned him.
“You don’t deserve a daughter like her,” Eero hissed and walked away.
“Be warned Eero. I will tell the rest of the council who really killed Stella,” Queen Amirah called after him.
Eero knew she had him in a corner.
Eero knocked on Ami’s bedroom door. “Ami?”
“It is open,” Ami called back at him, giving herself a quick look over.
“Hi,” Eero said, walking into the room.
“Close the door,” Ami said, smiling.
Eero closed the door and gave a few large strides closing the gap between them, and wrapping his arms around her. “I thought I was never going to see you again. I thought Stella killed you.”
