Chapter 220

‘At least it seems to be an improvement from the dungeons,’ she thought as they walked through the dungeons and came to a door. Through the door, they walked down a wide stone spiral staircase before entering an empty space lit by two dim wall lights. At first, Phoebe thought that it was nothing but walls, but King Thorvald walked up to one of the wall lights and pulled it forward. The wall moves, revealing the secret entrance to another stone spiral staircase.

“Why don’t I know about this area of the castle?” Phoebe asked, following King Thorvald on the staircase that lead them up to another door and through the door another, followed by another, all with several locks.

“Because you never cared to come to the Vampire wing,” King Thorvald said.

“So, you are just going to lock us up? I thought you said you are helping us?” Phoebe questioned, looking at the guard and the door with several locks.

King Torvald walked over to the guard and whispered to him before focusing his attention on Phoebe, “This is for your protection,” King Thorvald lied as he took her by her shoulders and turned her to face away from the guard.

Phoebe heard the locks being unlocked and, as she turned around, she heard Princess Freda’s voice. “Phoebe, run!”

Phoebe does not think twice and runs as fast as she could. King Thorvald immediately went after her but when they reached the sunroom, he knew he could not follow her without giving his true identity away of being a prehistoric, “I will get you later.” King Thorvald walked back to the dungeons but on his way there Queen Lana caught up with him, “Please tell me you did not set her free!”

“Not on purpose,” King Thorvald said, continuing his walk, wishing he can just rip Queen Lana’s throat out there and then.

“You better have her back in her cell by tomorrow morning,” Queen Lana demanded.

King Thorvald stopped for a moment and faced her, but instead of attacking her, he turns away and walks away, and thinks, ‘Patience, soon she will be bleeding out into the earth.’

King Thorvald arrived back at the tower and walked into the cell where he was keeping Princess Freda. “you will regret doing that.” He slapped her through her face, his long nails leaving streaks of blood on her left cheek.

“Bring her,” he demanded the guard, and the guard walked into the cell and unlocked her restraints from the wall, but kept her hands in shackles.

“Where are we going?” Princess Freda demanded to know.

“To meet your maker,” King Thorvald said, laughing.

They turn to another area that appeared to be empty with just a guard and one door that was heavily locked.  King Thorvald whispered to the guard and turned Princess Freda to face away.  Soon the door was unlocked and opened.

Princess Freda slowly turned around.

“Go in,” King Thorvald compelled her, and she start to walk forward. From outside it appeared as if the room was empty but when she stepped past the door, she noticed an ill-kept man that looked like a giant animal, chained up, hurdling in the corner on the cold stone floor. The door shut behind her and she quickly turned around, throwing herself at the door, “What is the meaning of this?!”

Princess Freda felt a force rip through her, one she was familiar with: ‘MATE.’ The man flings his head up, his bright blue eyes meeting her.

“H-, Hi,” Princess Freda stuttered, pressing her back against the door.

‘You are an actual werewolf? You!’ Her mind linked with him in shock, being able to see his mind and who he was.

“How is this even possible? I am a werewolf, and I can only mate with my own kind,” King Lowe said in a low, growling sound.

“I am a werewolf,” Princess Freda informed him.

“No, you are not. You are a Lycan,” King Lowe said before putting his head down again.

“Is that human bones?” Princess Freda asked, shocked.

“If you don’t shut up, it will become your bones,” King Lowe threatened, not really meaning it.

“I can feel that you don’t mean that,” Princess Freda said, walking to the middle of the cell and looking up into the sky.

“I have had many wives and many children, but I have never had a fated mate,” King Lowe informed her.

“Why?” Princess Freda wondered, already searching his mind.

“I don’t know, it just never happened,” he responded, looking at her again. ‘Her voice is so pretty, just like her face and her body,’ he thought, standing up, his manhood stirring.

“Don’t you dare come any closer!” Princess Freda pleaded, knowing his mind and his attentions.

“I know I look filthy, but I had 327 children for a reason,” King Lowe informed her of his skills.

“You are full of yourself,” Princess Freda stated, backing away against the opposite wall.

King Lowe walked to her but then stopped in the middle of the cell as his chains only allowed him to go so far.

“Do you regret starting a war?” Princess Freda asked, unable to find the answer in his mind.

“No,” King Lowe said, breathing deep, his eyes fixated on her.

“You have been locked up here for a very long time,” Princess Freda said.

“About half a century,” King Lowe informed her.

“You have killed a lot of women while locked up in here,” Princess Freda stated, fearing her own life even though she could not see in his mind that he has any intentions of harming her, besides the fact that he wants to have sex with her.

“If I don’t kill them, then they might carry my child and what do you think Thorvald's plans are for my children?” King Lowe asked.

“King Thorvald,” Princess Fey corrected him.

“He is no king of mine,” King Lowe growled.

“Why did you have sex with the woman, then?” Princess Freda asked.

“No woman should die before experiencing great sex,” King Lowe said, a little smile creeping up his face.

“Oh please,” Princess Freda said in disgust.

“It is animal instinct. He brings them only on a full moon and no werewolf can control their animal instinct when a woman is ovulating, especially one that does not have a claimed mate,” King Lowe told her.

“Is that why you are erected?” Princess Freda asked, looking at his manhood.

“Yes, you are in heat; I mean, ovulating,” King Lowe said.

“But you are a man right now, not an animal so why do you want to act on it?” Princess Freda asked, looking away, thinking he actually does look like some sort of wild animal with that ugly long hair and wild-grown beard.

“I am still a man,” King Lowe said, backing away realizing he was only scaring her.

“Are you going to kill me after having me?” Princess Freda asked, looking at him.
