Chapter 61

Calliope made her way to the private elevator meant for the CEO, and nobody dared to stop her.

She was brought in by the CEO himself just two days ago. Everyone was buzzing that she was the CEO's new girlfriend, so of course, she had special privileges.

When the elevator doors opened, Calliope stepped out and headed straight for the CEO's office. A few pretty secretaries tried to stop her, but she was already pushing the door open.

"How can you just barge into the CEO's office like that?" one of the secretaries snapped. They were all pretty fed up with Calliope, thinking she had used her looks to become Sylvester's girlfriend.

Inside, Sylvester was lounging back in his chair, his long legs propped up on the desk, the glow of his phone screen lighting up his face. He glanced up, saw Calliope, and thought, 'She’s here sooner than I expected.'

"Mr. Moore, I'm sorry. I couldn't stop her," the secretary apologized, thinking, 'Mr. Moore should put Calliope in her place this time. His office isn't a place she could just waltz into! She's totally abusing her relationship with him!'

But to her shock, Sylvester just said, "Got it, you can leave now."

The secretary was stunned. He was letting her stay? Was the CEO really keeping Calliope around?

She glanced at her own chest, then at Calliope's, which wasn't as full.

The CEO picked Calliope over her? Unbelievable. Maybe he just wanted something different.

"You won't be smug for long, you bitch," the secretary hissed in Calliope's ear before gently closing the door.

Calliope ignored her, her eyes locked on the CEO's desk. Sylvester pulled his legs down, tossed his phone aside, and looked at Calliope.

What happened next was a shocker. Calliope walked around the desk, facing Sylvester directly, staring at his handsome, arrogant face, with Maggie's words echoing in her head. "I like you!"

Sylvester was a bit stunned but quickly recovered, with a wicked smile, he said, "You think that trick still works on me?"

Calliope didn't answer. Instead, she leaned down and lightly kissed Sylvester's lips. The fresh mint scent filled her nose, but it didn't snap her out of her daze.

A voice kept echoing in her head: Kiss him, kiss him.

The distance between them vanished. Sylvester knew exactly what was coming next, but for Calliope, it was all a blur.

Since Calliope made the first move, Sylvester was more than happy to go along.

Sylvester's hand cupped the back of her head, deepening the kiss.

The office fell silent, with only the faint sound of clothes rustling, creating an intimate vibe that sparked the imagination.

As the sky darkened, it was time for the Winner Group to clock out, but the steamy air in the office made no one want to miss this rare scene. After all, Sylvester and Calliope were exceptionally good-looking.

Sylvester's face was as perfect as a sculpture, and Calliope's clear eyes and fair skin, especially her unusually proactive attitude today, seemed to follow someone's script. She sat in Sylvester's lap, her frail body looking helpless.

Suddenly, a flash of rationality hit her, and she panicked, thinking, 'What's going on? Why am I here?' But the voice sounded again, seductive and hypnotic, as if someone was whispering in her ear, "Baby, call out to me like this, do you hear?"

So, Calliope let out a faint moan, not out of her own will, but because of the intense pain in her head. Two selves struggled within her, the agony like a split personality.

She felt things were going wrong, wondering why she was here.

But she didn't realize that her uncontrollable moan was a fatal temptation for Sylvester. He scooped her up and carried her to the sofa in the reception area, quite pleased with her initiative tonight.

Sylvester placed her on the soft sofa, leaning over her, whispering in her ear, "Calliope, say you love me."
