Chapter 104- Final Preparations
Lexy
It’s been 24hrs since I told Cecel about his punishment. Now I sit alone in my office contemplating everything that has happened, every detail of information accumulated, and every person connected to this. I was getting anxious to find out who it was before the war. Every surrounding pack and associated packs are on high alert after we communicated to them the threat that’s coming.
I must make sure everyone is protected, and the safety of the innocents. A couple of hours passed, and I decided to stand up. The moment I did, I felt everything spinning. I caught myself on the edge of the desk. Before I could act everything went black.

As I was opening the door to Lexy’s and I’s office, Xazul growled at me. ‘HURRY!!’. I burst through the door and saw Lexy passing out. I ran as fast as I could before she hit the floor. Her holding to the edge of the desk helped me catch her on time. “Muñeca, what happened?” I asked her while holding her and stroking her hair.
She always knew how to worry me. ‘Thanks, Xazul for the heads up. By the way, how did you know?’ I asked him. ‘I sensed something, and Leila didn’t answer me when I attempted to contact her’ Xazul responded. I carried her to the Doc’s office calmly. The Doc examined her, and everything was cleared. She passed out due to stress and not eating.
The doc put her on an IV and on bed rest for the rest of the day. “Thanks Doc” I told her before she left our room. She mentioned that she would sleep for about 6 hours and if she didn’t wake up I had to wake her and get her to eat. Our kids laid with her and fell asleep too. I tried to keep them out, but they wouldn’t listen to anyone and stayed by the door. I sat on the sofa and enjoyed watching them all sleeping together. Xazul brimmed with pride looking at them.
I didn’t realize I had dozed off until I felt one of the kids climb on top of me. “Papi, papi” Jr said excitedly. “Hey buddy” I responded with a groggy voice. From the bed Alexia spoke, “Papi, food for mami”. I looked at Lexy, but she was still asleep. “Wake up soon” Elio said with a big smile. I picked them all up and took them with me to the kitchen.
They helped me make something to eat for them with the help of Lala. The moment with walked into the room with the food I saw Lexy sitting on the bed. “What smells so good?” she asked. “The kids and I cooked you something. They insisted on making you something to eat” I responded with a big smile.

After waking up from however long I was out, I enjoyed a nice meal with my family. After CJ put the kids to bed he joined me on our bed and told me what happened to me. I dropped my head down because I knew it was my fault. CJ grabbed me by the chin and made me look at him. “Don’t worry. We are all here for you” he said sweetly and then kissed me. I fell asleep in his arm knowing how much I’m loved.
I awoke with a new sense of thought. I gathered everyone in the conference room, and we spent the day settling the final details of the battle plan. I let them go over the details I was given of this ‘Master’, but no one could figure out who it might be. I planned with Kamira different spots outside the tribe with boobytraps to slow down the attacks.
Dad decided to add more layers of defense outside the tribe and CJ suggested one inside the tribe. I decided to move our people tonight to the secret lands Dad, and I found to combine packs under one land. It’s not ready yet but there’s enough built to house them until this war is done.
We finished all the preparations ahead of time and began to move our people. I pray to the moon goddess and to Abellona to protect our people and for minimal casualties. I know she has told me I have the power; I just must believe it wholeheartedly. CJ has been worried about me fighting while pregnant. But I will not run away from my fight.
I’ve been with my kids since finishing up the plans. They will be leaving soon with Lala and our moms. They will be placed in a safer location that a small circle is aware of. I was having a hard time letting them go until little Alexia said, “No worries mami. Papi and you beat monster”. I don’t know if she knew something or was good at the words she used, but she calmed me down.
I hugged and kissed everyone and said my goodbye and headed to the kitchen to grab the food Lala left ready for us. As I walked into the living room CJ approached me and took the tray off my hands. With sat in the living room and watched a movie while enjoying dinner together. After dinner CJ made us some dessert and finished it with the movie.
CJ picked a second movie, and I cuddled up onto his chest. I can hear how his breathing has calmed down and his body is fully relaxed. He fell asleep just a couple of minutes after getting comfortable. Feeling and hearing his heartbeat, I began to rub his chest and make my way down into his pants.
That seems to have done the job, and he woke up. “What are you doing muñeca?” he asked sarcastically. “Having some fun with my special toy” I giggled my response. “Well, let’s play gata salvaje (savage kitty)” he responded with a devilish smile. He took my face and devoured my lips. Only this man/wolf could tame me and quench my thirst.
