Chapter 71- One Step Ahead

After getting my family and Marisol on the same page yesterday, I ended the day with my babies and my mate. Today I was woken up by my triplets synchronizing their cries. I decided to start with Alexia and move my way down to the boys. As I finished changing her diaper, breastfeeding and putting her back down, Elio and Jr were going all out. I picked both up and changed their diapers. As I was starting breastfeeding one to position the other way CJ walked in.
I felt relief the moment he stepped in helped me set them up. While they were feeding he went and picked up Alexia. “How’s daddy’s princess doing?” he talked to her while rocking her. I felt a warmth run through my body seeing how good he is with our babies.
After settling the babies and getting back to sleep, we left their room and went into ours to get cleaned up for the day. I got in the shower first while CJ was letting Lala know I was ready for breakfast.
I had my head in the water just letting it wash away everything I’m feeling when I felt arms wrap around my stomach and kisses being left on my shoulders. It surprised me at first but then I leaned back to the touch. I don’t know what he has gone through in those 4 days I was dead. All I know is that I’m going to make sure he doesn’t hurt like that again. I still can feel his pain even though he is trying to hide it.
I turned around wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. I want him to feel the love I feel for him and to know I will never leave him. He responded with the same passion and picked me up putting me against the shower wall. The desperation coming from both of us is obvious and strong. We both missed each other and were making sure to get the most out of every moment.
He entered me and it felt like a whole new rush. He began his movements slowly and when my nails went in his back, he picked up the pace. I don’t know how long we had been at it, but the climax was amazing. But he made sure I knew it wasn’t over. He turned me around and had me stick my butt out a bit. He entered me from behind and I could feel our animalistic urges emerging. We both knew Xazul and Lei were also enjoying this moment and wanted a turn at it. After we all got our releases, we finally got cleaned up.
As CJ went into the room to get dressed, I cleaned the mirror and looked at myself. I looked so different that what I remembered. Even my hair is more silky and less frizzy. It was still curly but tamed without even brushing it yet. My skin was flawless, and I feel a little taller than before. I did notice that my stomach looks fit and not like I just gave birth to triplets 6 days ago.
I went into the room and got myself dressed comfortably but prepared. I walked out to the living area, and everyone were already here. “Good morning early birds” I tell everyone. CJ looked at me and gave me the eyes letting me know everyone heard everything we did this morning.

“You need to go back and find out if she had a boy or a girl. Also, before you go, I need the location of her body” I instruct Riz. “Eww, I don’t even want to know. The sacred grounds are behind the waterfall. I followed just in case” she responded without a care in the world and left.
I can’t stand her but for age, she is the best spy. I found her when she was 4 and had my best assassin at the time train her. Now with just 19 years and she has done more than my best men. Her way of collecting information always baffles me.
If they hadn’t noticed her changes as they left her there, it would be great news for me. She will become the perfect weapon and I will rule it all.

We sat down to discuss the day while CJ and I ate breakfast. “Hey. I was thinking about something. Does everyone know about the traditions of the burial?” I asked dad. “Not everyone is aware. Only the group that carried your body and the elders” he responded. “Ok. I know that the traitor is not high ranking. Could they have followed you guys to the waterfall? Because that means I need to return there and act like I’m dead. At least for today while you hunt the spy” I finished telling them and continued to eat.
Everyone ended up agreeing with me except for CJ. “I don’t want you to go back over there. I don’t want to take you out of my sight” he said roughly. “You know she won’t be alone in there. Remember you haven’t left her even during her death” papa Angel reminded him.
Everyone laughed at that comment and CJ just looked at the floor. I stopped eating and stood up, walked to him, pulled him to a standing position and kissed him passionately. I knew I caught him by surprise, but he always responds with the same passion in seconds.
“I LOVE YOU” I said from my heart. My moment got interrupted by the loud clapping and cheering from everyone in the room. “I love you my fiery Phoenix” he responded to me and ended it by kissing me again. We were getting back to business, but our 3 angels just woke up. Perfect because I get to spend time with them before heading back to the falls.
CJ
It has been so good having her back and getting to touch her, kiss her, talk to her and especially see her breathing. I wasn’t happy that she had to go back to the grounds but seeing her with our kids reassured me she was here and wasn’t going nowhere. Everywhere she went I was going. Would have loved to keep us in the room spending time with the triplets, but the safety of everyone came first.
My mom returned with a similar dress to what she was wearing for ritual burial. It started getting a bit late in the morning and I had to rush her before more people started getting up.
