Chapter 95- Triple the Birthday

Lexy
I can’t believe how fast 3 months have passed. Tomorrow our pups turn 1 years old, and everyone has been lively. CJ and I discussed introducing the kids to the tribe, but we decided to hold off a bit longer. We want to make sure they will be safe from Cecel, and anyone like him.

Lala has gone crazy with the foods she is making for tomorrow and she won’t let me help her. Our moms have been decorating the indoor open space. I have been spending my day with them while everyone has been running around doing birthday things. The whole tribe knows is their birthday and understands why I’m keeping it hidden.

But they are all so excited about it that they have been dropping gifts after gifts for them. Is kind of funny since they don’t know the gender or how many kids I had. I love seeing how much love they are receiving, and they still haven’t been out in the real world yet.

It was getting time for the kids’ bedtime and CJ was helping me out when CJ Jr pulled on his hair and all I heard was his scream. I burst it out laughing along with the kids. The laughter that sounded in the room became contagious and even CJ began to laugh. After a good laugh we had them in pj’s and put the movie Robots. The kids fell in love with that movie, and I honestly can say is one of my favorites.

They fell asleep in our arms while watching the movie. We placed them in their beds and went to our room. “Muñeca, what are you thinking about?” CJ asked me while holding me from behind. “I’m sorry. The kids are turning 1 years old, and I haven’t been able to bring them out to the world. I know they will soon get curious and ask to go out” I responded.

“I understand sweety. Pronto (Soon) they’ll be able to discover the world. We will make sure of that” he reassured me. I smiled and nodded believing in his words. I couldn’t get this feeling eating at me, but I didn’t want to worry him.

We got ourselves ready for bed and CJ held me tight as we fell asleep. The next day I woke up before everyone and chose to go for a run. When I got back from my run Lala had already dropped off breakfast and the kids were coming out the room with the kids. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” I said loudly and with excitement.

They came running towards me at full speed. I held them while showering them with kisses. “Breakfast time. Lala cooked y’all favorites” I told them. Their faces lid up and they ran to the table. We placed them on their highchairs and served them a full plate. They went beast mode on it and the mess they were making was no joke. We joined them for breakfast and then to get them ready for the day.

It was sad that there wouldn’t be any other kids at the party, but the amount of love they had from the adults that know about them eases my sadness. We put on their birthday outfits, and I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them. I notice how each of them is starting to show their personalities. Alexia is a big daddy’s girl but is a very tough little girl when it comes to the boys.

I dressed her in a gorgeous lilac dress with turquoise leggings underneath it. I dressed Jr. in a green button up shirt with short sleeves with black comfortable pants. Now Elio had the same shirt but in royal blue with black pants. I match all the outfits with their cute shoes. By the time we finished getting them ready and taking pictures it was noon.

We hurried with them and took them to their fun place. When we walked through the door everyone important in our lives yelled “SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” in unison. The kids got startled and almost began to cry while one of the decorations went on fire. Dad put the fire out while everyone was trying to figure out what happened.

When they looked around and realized it was everyone they knew they began to cheer up. “What was that?” CJ whispered in my ear as I handed the kids to our family. “I’m not sure, but I think it was them” I whispered back. We chose to keep our opinions about it to ourselves and joined everyone in the middle to enjoy their birthday.

Our moms decided to start giving them their kisses. I couldn’t help and take pictures of everything. They really went all out for their birthday, and I felt so lucky and grateful for them. I noticed the table full of food that Lala made, and my jaw almost dropped to the floor. She made everything they like and everything I like.

“Omg Lala. You really out did yourself. You do know we aren’t going to be able to finish all that” I told her with a chuckle. She just shrugged her shoulders with a big smile. “We have a full tribe that won’t mind extra food” she responded with a giggle. Everyone laughed at her response while still giving the kids a lot of attention.

A couple of hours later the cakes were brought out with their candles lit up. Each cake had a different decoration and each of their names on a separate cake. I looked at Lala in surprise and she just kept singing happy birthday along with everyone. The kids were loudly laughing and clapping.

We let Lala help us help them blow the candles and cut the first pieces. They got a lot of gifts that I know won’t all fit in their room and Lala told me she made a lot of cake to give to the tribe for desert tonight after dinner. I made sure the names were cut out and given to each of the kids to eat. It was a perfect day and couldn’t ask for a better one. Wish I could keep it this way.
