Chapter 54- Surprising Details

I get back to our room and Lexy is laughing with Helio. It was a great sight to see her in that relax manner. They both noticed when I came in and waved at me while continuing their conversation. That’s when Lexy took a second look and noticed the plate on my hand. I knew she had not eaten since earlier and the pups would be starving. She smirked at me, and I walked up to her. Helio gave me a smile and I responded with one. While Lexy ate her food, Helio and I began a conversation.
He turned out to be a chill man. Lexy kept smiling at us while we kept talking. I think she was happy with how Helio and I interacted with each other. After Lexy finished eating, Helio excused himself to attend some pack matters. I sat down with Lexy, and she snug herself in my arms. “Thank you” I heard her say and then she dozed off. I kissed the top of her head, picked her up and laid with her on the bed. We ended up taking a 2-hour nap and I can tell Lexy is feeling a lot more energized.
Lexy
I love CJ so much. The more things that he does the more I can see the connection of being one. Knowing how we are connected makes me love him more. Before we stepped out of the room, he turned me around, pinned me against the door and kissed me passionately. The shock of his moments wore off quickly and I responded to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and that got him to wrap his around my body. This man just knew how to drive me crazy.
Once he released me I couldn’t think straight. I was lost in the love and lust that he sparked in me. Before I could do anything or say anything we got interrupted by a knock on the door. CJ grabbed my hand and opened the door. “Hey guys. Are you coming down for dinner?” asked Alex with a smirk. “Yeah we are coming” CJ answered him. The 3 of us walked together down to the dining room and joined everyone else. Helio wasn’t at the table, and everyone was already eating.
Not seeing him made me feel a bit down. But before I could even ask anyone, his beta approached us. “Could you please follow me?” he asked us. We nodded and followed him. I noticed we seemed to be heading to the private dining room. As we entered, I saw a huge feast on the table and Helio at the head of the table. “Come in guys. Have a seat and join me” he spoke very cheerfully.
We all sat down, and Helio spoke again, “I wanted more private time with you Lexy and the people that surround you”. He already had the introductions from last night, so he went straight to what they do. Alex spoke up first. “I’m Beta’s older son and I’m Lead Warrior training all new recruits. Yarielis is my mate who I just recently found”. Yarielis blushed at that statement while we all laughed. “You sound like you’re reporting to him” I let Alex know with a giggle.
“We were wondering about what happens now that Lexy’s here?” Yarielis spoke up. The room went quiet, but Helio’s responded straight to her. “Elders will be here tomorrow, and her training will begin”. “That’s not what I meant. Is she staying her, or will she return home?” she said with her head low. “Right now, I’m here to train to control my powers and be able to fight and find my mom. Why do you think I have to choose if I’m going home or not?” I responded to her.
“I can explain that” Helio spoke out. “The reason she asks that is because this is your kingdom”. I gasped and my chest got tight. I began to feel like I couldn’t breathe. CJ noticed my panic and was trying to comfort me. I just couldn’t hear him and then I blacked out.
CJ
She scared the crap out of me. She had a panic attack after finding out she had a kingdom. What scared me most is if she was hurt and if the pups were good. We took her to the private doctor Helio has and he said everything was good with her and the babies. But she needed to rest and relax. The shock caused her to have a panic attack and that’s why she passed out. Now I’m just waiting for her to wake up. Xazul got to speak to Lei, and she confirmed the pups, and they are good. That Lexy just needed time to come to terms with all the information. After 3 hours Lexy began to move in her bed. Helio didn’t want her to leave the hospital till she woke up.
I sat on the bed next to her and softly moved the hair from her face. I loved the way her hair flowed, and her bright green eyes looked at me with love. The way she spoke was shy at one moment and sassy in another. I just want her to wake up already. I was holding on to her hand when she spoke. “Mmm.. What happened?” she said very quietly. “You had a panic attack and passed out. We took you to the hospital and everything is fine. You and the babies are great” I responded quickly before she got any bad ideas. Which seems to have worked because she stayed calmed. I pressed the button on the bed and lifted her to a sitting position.
Lexy
Seeing CJ’s face, I can tell he’s been worrying the whole time. He was holding onto my hand and when I tried to adjust myself he wouldn’t let go. “I’m fine chulo. Too much information to take in one day” I spoke softly. “I know. Lei let us know and went to sleep again. We need to take care of one thing at a time” he spoke in a low tone while kissing my fingers. I nodded yes in understanding.
“I let Helio know not to jump the gun and to let you process” he told me. “Can I get water?” I asked him. He got up and a couple of seconds later came back with water. I drank the whole cup in one go. I shuck the cup asking him for more. He gave me a big smile, kissed me and walked to get more.
I passed my hands through my stomach and spoke to my babies. “We will figure everything out and you guys will be born in a safe place”. “Mami loves you” I said while kissing my fingers and then placing it over my stomach.

I walked into the room to see her kissing our babies. All Xazul and I could think about was keeping them safe and out of harm’s way.
