Chapter 118- The End and The Aftermath
Lexy
Looking at my mates new form left me feeling in aww. He was a bit bigger than before, but his fur displayed patches of fire red that looked like lightning on his chest and back. I fell in love with him all over again like the first time.
My distraction towards my mate and his growth was a big mistake. I felt the monster tear flesh from my right side. I took the pain and struck him with my claws gauging out his left eye. The painful growl that came out of me had Xazul tearing off his left arm in the blink of an eye. I was left stunned.
His speed was remarkable and the strength he just displayed is undeniable.

I don’t know what happened to us and I don’t care. I could feel something changed about us, but seeing her flesh being ripped from her all we could see was red.
The rage was unrelenting, propelling me forward with newfound ferocity. With every strike, I could feel the energy surging through my veins, igniting my determination to protect those I cared for. Xazul's transformation seemed to have amplified his abilities, and together, we were a force to be reckoned with.
Lexy was healing herself as I stood toe to toe with this monster. Xazul and I wanted to head to Lexy and be by her side, but we knew we had to take care of him before he dealt any more damage to anyone else. Ripping his arm off made the monster more vicious than before, but I was as pissed off as he was.
The battle raged on, each moment a blur of claws, teeth, and raw power. We fought with an intensity that burned brighter than the flames on Xazul's fur. The monster, now blinded and crippled, staggered under our relentless assault. Victory was within our grasp, but the cost had been high.
As we delivered the final blow, the creature collapsed, defeated. Exhausted but triumphant, I turned to Xazul, his aura still crackling with energy. We had won, but the scars of the battle would remain with us forever.
We began to walk towards Lexy when she got up in an instant and ran past me. As she passed me I noticed her eyes were glowing. Before I turned to see what was occurring I heard her clash with someone. I turned and saw her wrapped in pure flames. The flames on her back were coming out looking like wings.
Her transformation was mesmerizing, a testament to her resilience and inner strength. Lexy had become something extraordinary, a beacon of power and determination. The flames that enveloped her seemed to dance with a life of their own, embodying her fierce spirit.
As she engaged with the monster, Xazul and I stood ready, knowing that together, we were unstoppable. Lexy's fiery wings illuminated the battlefield, casting shadows that flickered like ancient spirits. Her movements were fluid, precise, and deadly. Each strike she delivered resonated with the same energy that had ignited our souls.
In that moment, we were not just warriors; we were a united front, bound by our mutual love and the desire to protect each other. The air crackled with the potent mix of her flames and Xazul's electrifying presence.
With a final, decisive blow, Lexy sent the enemy reeling, her flames enveloping them in a blazing inferno. The battle had reached its climax, and we stood victorious, yet aware that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. United, we turned to face the future, knowing that together, we could conquer anything that came our way.
As we took a moment to catch our breath, the remnants of the battlefield lay in stark contrast to the fierce energy that had just consumed it. The ground was scorched and torn, a testament to the power that had been unleashed. The silence that followed was thick with the weight of our shared experience, each of us aware of the profound shift that had taken place.
Lexy, her fiery wings gradually receding, approached us with a look of resolve etched into her features. "We have to keep moving," she said, her voice steady despite the exhaustion that clung to us all. Xazul and I exchanged glances, acknowledging the truth in her words.
The path ahead was uncertain, fraught with challenges we could only begin to imagine. Yet, the bond that had been forged in the heat of battle imbued us with a sense of invincibility. As we set off, the landscape around us whispered promises of new trials, but we were undeterred. We faced the darkness and emerged stronger, and together, we would navigate whatever lay ahead.
In the distance, the first light of dawn began to break through the horizon, casting a soft glow over the terrain. It was a reminder that despite the battles we fought, there was still beauty to be found in the world. And as we moved forward, we carried with us the hope that our journey would lead not just to survival, but to a future where our strength and unity would carve out a legacy of resilience and courage.
Like the true queen she is she went straight to help the ones that were injured. She started with the worst ones injured. As I’m looking at her work her magic, I noticed a shape walking back in the distance holding their arm close to their chest. I realized who it was and rushed to her side.
Tarria lost her left hand in the battle. Lexy noticed and rushed towards us. I could feel how hurt and sad she was.

The end of this battle signifies new beginnings, and I was looking forward to seeing what it brings. Right now, my heart is aching with all the people that got injured and for the ones we lost. I ordered the uninjured to pick up the bodies of our fallen to bring back home and do a proper burial.
