Chapter 77- Collecting What’s Needed

After the chills Cecel did something I didn’t expect. He jumped out the window and we ran towards the window. When we looked down we noticed he landed in a fishpond. I was going to jumped down to make sure he died but was stopped by everyone and we got distracted by unexpected company.
Dad decided to tell everyone to retreat and make sure they brought every man back. Dead or alive. We retreated but I asked Tarria to check who had come to backup Cecel and to confirm that Cecel did die.
We headed back home uncertain of how the battle ended. “What the hell happened?” asked that out loud. But no one responded to him because no one knew. Right as we get back to the pack Tarria mind-links me. ‘My lady. Is an Alpha named Pokine who came to Cecel’s help. They took Cecel’s body with them and any surviving members. I’m making my way back before they find me out’ she reports. ‘Thank you. Get back home safe and in one piece. Will see you soon’ I tell her and cut the link.
“Dad, Tarria just reported, and I know who is helping Cecel. Is Alpha Pokine from Apachicola pack. CJ we must warn Alpha Trevor” I let them know. “Who’s Alpha Pokine?” dad asks. CJ takes his phone and calls his pack while I explain to dad who Alpha Pokine is.
Dad just realizes our troubles weren’t done if Tarria couldn’t confirm Cecel’s death either. We decided to go straight into the conference room and go over a new plan to take them both down. We didn’t know where they were located now but I knew who could tell us. I called Alpha Trevor and asked to have Zequiel brought to us.
Alpha Pokine
We arrived as a battle was underway. I didn’t know what was going on, but I knew I had to do something. We found Cecel in the fishpond with the help of one of his men. We took him with us into a cabin a friend of mines uses to get away.
Cecel was burnt badly, and I wasn’t sure he would make it. but I need the information he got so I can figure out what to do. I had my private doctor come in and take care of him. I don’t know how he was still alive, but that man was brutal.
My men collected as much information from Cecel’s place as they could. I looked at some of the paperwork and became fascinated by the information Cecel had. He had more details about the girl than I did. I need to know who this man is before I put all my eggs in one basket.
Lexy
We had to wait till tomorrow to get Zequiel here. I checked on the wounded and healed them. Dad set everything up for the burial of our 2 fallen warriors. CJ grabbed me by the hand and led me home. “How come you’re so calmed about what happened?” CJ asked me. I could hear the worry in his tone.
“The memories I have showed me all the battles and aftermath of it all. It taught me how I need to handle it and keeping my head up and in control is the best option for everyone” I responded.
CJ
I was impressed with the way she was handling herself, but I still can’t help worry about her. She just came back to us and hasn’t stopped her focus on finishing with the enemy and I understand her.
I’m taking care of her when she over does it and doesn’t realize it. Once she was home she led herself go and cried in my arms. I carried her into the shower and let her cry while washing it away. As she calmed down I just held her and kissed the top of her head.
I helped her get cleaned up and then took her to bed. I kissed her on her head and her shoulders. She never let me go since we stepped in the suite. I could feel when she fell asleep, and I mind-linked everyone not to bother us till tomorrow.
Everyone understands and just thanked me for keeping her safe. I held her tight to me and fell asleep thinking about her.

I heard my babies crying and I jumped out of bed running to them. There was fear running through me but when I walked into the room they were just crying from hunger and dirty diapers. CJ came in behind me and I looked down with shame. Seeing the worry in his face made me sad.
“I’m sorry hun” I say softly. He lifts my face and gives me a kiss. “Don’t. Let’s take care of the pups” he said sweetly. He grabbed Elio while I grabbed Alexia and got them ready for their morning baths. CJ was a huge help juggling them. After the bath we went to morning feedings and after Dr. Bennet will be here for checkups on the 3 of us. I couldn’t thank her enough. We chose to make her the kids’ godmother and she accepted.
I love how she brings everything with her just to take care of us. Now is to wait for the results but she says the pups are very healthy and strong. She said I’m super healthy which means I grew a couple of inches and longer hair, along with thicker body. “I got to say you are amazingly healthy. Everything sounds good. I’ll have your results in a couple of days. But the way you guys are going, I’m not worried about anything” Dr. Bennet said confidently.
CJ and I were both reliefs. Dad walked right into the room, but he stopped when he noticed what was going on. I waved him that it was fine to stay. I was going to say something when I noticed his neck. “OMG dad! You mated mom” I squeaked out.
