Chapter 51- Catch Up

Helio kept looking at me with a dumbfounded look. There was an awkward silence that lasted for 5 minutes and all we did was look at each other after the revelation of what he said about mom. He coughed and spoke up. “Let’s set you guys up in the guest rooms and have you guys join us for dinner. Tomorrow we can talk more about things” Helio addressed us all.
They showed us to our rooms, and we realized we were all set on the same floor, which was a relief for us. Made it more comfortable. After we all got cleaned up, someone came to get us and took us to their dining room, it looked more like a school lunchroom. We sat down at the table next to Helio. Dinner was brought out and before everyone started eating Helio got everyone’s attention.
“Good evening everyone. As you can tell we have guests in our pack. They’ve come from..” he looked at us before he could finish his sentence. CJ stood up and answered, “Stone Valley Pack in Florida”. “Ah yes. They will be staying for a couple of days with us. Please make them feel at home”. “Please introduce yourself” Helio pointed at us. CJ stood up and began the introductions. “I’m CJ Skylar son of the Beta, to my left is my brother Alex and his mate Yarielis, and our lead warrior Derek Blackstone” he paused before turning towards me. He extended his hand and helped me up. “I’m Alexia his mate. But everyone calls me Lexy” I spoke up. It wasn’t my place to say more to Helio’s pack.
Helio stood back up looked at me and then turned to look at everyone while holding my hand. “She is Alexia Athanas Carty, my daughter” Helio announced proudly. Everyone was stunned by the announcement, and I knew I was blushing. I could hear people whispering and still see the shock on everyone’s faces. I sat down and CJ kept holding my hand and the made me feel a bit less conscious. “Alright everyone, time to eat” Helio spoke sternly, and everyone did as they were told.
After dinner we all decided to head to our rooms and call it a night. CJ can tell I was going through the motions and when we laid down on the bed he held me tight while rubbing on my belly. I dozed right off. The next morning CJ woke me up with kisses on my belly. I was going to say something when we saw my belly move. I was 3 months along and they were growing fast. CJ smile grew so wide it almost looked creepy. That thought made me laugh. We got up and got ready for the day. As I was putting my shoes on we heard a knock on the door.
“Come in” I said. Yarielis came through the door. “Hey guys. Breakfast is ready” she said with a sweet tone. I got up and the 3 of us walked down to the dining room. I was glad it wasn’t as full as yesterday. After we finished breakfast, one of Helio’s men came to get us. He took us down a long hallway on the 4th floor and then stopped and knocked at the thick wood door. “Come in” we heard from the other side. As we stepped into the room, I saw Helio and as he looked at me he smiled.
I realized we walked into his office. “Please sit down” he signaled to us as he spoke. We all took our seat and waited for him to finish the paperwork he was working on. After a minute he lifted his had and sighed. “I’m sorry for the delay. Good morning everyone. Lexy today I arranged a tour for your friends while you, your mate and I discuss somethings”. We all nodded and a minute later someone came to get the guys and take them on a tour.

“I know you have a lot of questions just like I do. First thing, where is Xiomara at?” I had to ask her. “That’s one of the reasons we are here. Mom was taken” she said sadly. That left me stunned. “By who?” I asked with a harsh tone. “Apparently by someone coming after you. They tried to take me, but mom got me out” she responded defensively and with a harsh tone. “I’m sorry” all I could do is apologize. She had stood up and that’s when I noticed her belly. “Are-are you pregnant?” I couldn’t help but stammer. “Umm yes. Is the other reason why I need answers and to find mom” she responded while rubbing her belly. “We are having triplets” CJ answered. “Holy crap!”. I was mind blown by the news.
“I just found out I’m a dad and now I’m going to be a grandpa of 3” I couldn’t hold in the surprise and happiness. “There was an attempt to kidnaped me, but we captured the guy, and we know what pack they belong. What we haven’t figured out is who took mom” she was sad as she retold what happened. I didn’t know how to respond. I wanted to hold her, but her mate was already comforting her.
“I will do everything in my power to help you out and find your mother. I’m sorry things have happened the way they have, and we had to meet like this” I spoke gently to her. “I would love to get to know you and I will tell you about my history with your mom all does years ago and what’s going on with you now” I tell her with all the sincerity in my heart. I will tell her everything she needs to know about her ancestors and what’s coming her way. I know that she has been going through a lot since her birthday and I'm going to make sure she has everything she will need when the time comes.
