Chapter 93- Things Have Changed
Lexy
It has been a week since I’ve been back from my journey. There is still no sign of Cecel’s whereabouts. I felt different but in a much better way. I’m more in control of my powers and assured of myself. I now know my place and where I come from. We had a meeting with our tribe and caught them up with everything that happened.
I love how close our tribe is and how everyone is always willing to do something to help with anything. Things have been moving along good, but I still keep my pups out of sight until Cecel is found. Dad had a brilliant idea to build a home for them not far from the packhouse but with an indoor grassed playground for them to be able to enjoy being kids.
It just finished being built last week and they spend most of their day in there. Everyone takes turn to spend time with them but come out exhausted while they still going at it. The great thing about it is that they sleep through the whole night. Everyone has been working hard trying to end this once and for all, but no one can’t seem to find him.
I’m not sure why but I’m not stressed out about the fact that we haven’t found Cecel. At first it bothered me but now no matter how many times we are told they haven’t found him; I just thank them for their hard work and keep it moving.
Cecel
Finding out Savyn is my fated mate shocked me, but Asterio just took over and marked her. I know it surprised her at first but then her wolf Sarielis marked me. It took us awake to adjust to that little surprise. It has been over 2 months since we got away.
Asterio stopped concerning himself with planning our next move. All he cares about is Savyn and Sarielis. I’ve tried to fight the bond, but the more time has passed being with her, the less time I think about a next move. I still can’t believe after all the years I planned to rule it turned out like this.
I know Helio hasn’t stopped looking for us and I’m confident that they won’t find us unless someone makes a mistake during restock of our necessities. Only thing I’m dealing with now is my men wanting to find their mates since I found mine. All I care about now is to keep Savyn safe.

In 4 months, the pups will turn 1 years old, and Lala has been planning everything with our moms. I wanted to help but they wouldn’t let me. They said ‘Don’t worry about it. you focus on your duties, and we will take care of these things’.
I’m really looking forward to their birthdays. CJ and I ordered a gift for each one and we can’t wait to see them opened them. Tarria is returning at the end of next week while her apprentice takes over for her. She has been relentless in her search for Cecel. I’m proud of her but also worried so I demanded her to return at the latest by end of next week.
We have begun to contact other packs and alliances have been formed. Alpha Trevor has become my right handman in these alliances. CJ has been my equal partner in all decision making. He has also given me pointers due to his training for BETA position in case something happened to his brother.
I sat with the elders and began to have them transcribe the history of The Great Phoenix and of my blood line. Only this time they will be placed in a secure place to make sure what happened with Cecel never happens again. I want to assure a future for my kids and theirs.
Only a handful of people know where we will keep these transcripts. The elders want to announce to the world of me being the reincarnation of The Great Phoenix. I don’t want to do that. I want everyone to enjoy their packs and their families. To have peace and not worry about war. I’m slowly making alliances to make sure I have the right people standing at my side.
Dinner time is approaching, and I was happy to end my day and be with my family. Some days we would sit with the pack and the other days we would sit at home and eat as a family. Today was eating with my family at home and I couldn’t help but rush out the door. As soon as I walked through the door all I could hear was the giggling of my pups.
“Hey, my cutie pies” I said as I approached them. “Mami, mami” they said in unison while standing up and stretching their arms to be picked up. I don’t know how I managed to pick them up at the same time. “Boo” someone said as they touched my sides. I jumped and before I got to turn around my pups said, “Papi!”.
I turned around and he had a big smile on him. He knows this is the only time I let my guard down. He as he was grabbing Ali from my arms she jumped to him. We giggled at her excitement. “Time for dinner” Lala called out to everyone. We all sat down, and the conversations began.
I looked around the room and noticed how everyone had a smile and looked worry free. I felt a warm sensation in my heart. This is what I want for everyone all the time. I got out of my head and joined everyone in their conversations. After dinner we all sat down in the family room to watch a movie. CJ and I went to get the kids cleaned up and ready for bed.
Once they were ready we returned to the family room and sat down to enjoy the movie. Don’t know when but my babies fell asleep on top of us during the movie. I stood up we CJ and took them to bed.
